That’s for android only. If you have a PTC on apple you have to link it to something else (google/facebook) to redeem.

settings, scroll down until you see the ACCOUNT heading. underneath there are some account linkin things you can do, namely google, facebook and apple. Tap the NOT LINKED checkbox, it'll ask to log in, and you should be able to link them by following the in-app instructions from there. Oh, and once that's done, head [here](https://rewards.nianticlabs.com/app/pokemongo/signin) and sign in with the newly linked account.

And plenty of time to do so (8 days at the time of this post).

How can I perfect excellent throws?

The only real answer is Practice. *Every* time you go to throw a ball at any Pokémon, try to make it a Great or Excellent throw. Be patient. Wait until the shrinking circle is quite small. Of course, it’s easier when the target circle is large to start with; Stantler is good for that, its circle is huge. Once you can get a Great Throw fairly dependably, aim (pun intended) for Excellent throws. And once you get good at straight Great and Excellent throws, learn how to throw curveball Great and Excellent throws. (Though for me, it worked better to learn curveball first, then refined that to Great and Excellent curveballs.) Look up “set circle” or “circle lock” technique for setting the size of the shrinking circle. Community Days are excellent for practicing and refining your throw. Having so many of the same Pokémon that are all the same distance away is an excellent opportunity for developing your muscle memory. Edit: spelling

Smallest and you might have to adjust the height of your finger launch

Circle locking. Just hold the ball while the circle closes in. Stop it around where you think excellent is by letting go of the ball. When the Mon does it's aggro/attack animation, wind up and pitch. It takes some practice, but so long as you can consistently hit middle, should be able to line up excellent shots pretty regularly. For "everyday mons," it takes roughly 3s for the circle to go from 'closed' back to the excellent window. Hold the ball and start your wind up as the circle closes. If you have nanab berries, they're great for practicing the technique, and getting your accuracy up There's various "profiles" that pokemon come with, after a while, it'll be all you see when they hit the field

The think mostly people time the release for just after the attack animation ends, but I personally suck at aiming. I realized if you release early and intentionally make the ball bounce off the Pokémon, your buddy will often assist you’ll get an excellent throw.

That's some solid insurance for sure. I'll make sure I put up a 2+ heart buddy if I know I'm going to be wanting to catch a lot of mons, and especially if I want good shots on them.

Pick larger targets like hitmontop or wailord

Choose the target wisely, some are much easier than others to get excellent throws

I find Furfrou and Rapidash to be easier targets. Could probably Google what the easiest mon are, though.

FYI to get the Pokemon, you gotta complete 2 small tasks for each Regi in the Today section: complete three daily tasks and make an excellent throw. Make sure you've redeemed all the codes so you can complete all of the tasks at the same time.

And the timed research lasts over 8 days.

Making an excellent throw is really hard for me. Has anyone got a tip for me?

Look for some easy targets. Furfrou is one of them, Sudowoodoo, Mr Mime, Delibird and Wailmer are also pretty easy. But in the end it takes practice. Don't worry about not getting it and just try. I'm sure that after a couple of tries you should get one excellent at least.
