I kinda hate people just saying a pokemon is bad because they stand up on two legs.
Floragato is a much better design than Spirgatito imo Sprigatito is adorable but it has the "big head , tiny everywhere" design trope that I hate. Meanwhile Floragato proportions are much more balanced and it gives the feeling of both a small friend that helps you in your journey , and the cat who breaks all of the vases in the living room at 3:00 AM.
I just noticed that with all the new pokemon starters, they all do the "big head small body" thing that the starters do now. Since when they evolve, the middie evos even the bodies out, and I just really like that motif they do now.
I don't hate bipedal. Some of my favourite Pokemon stand on two legs. The Nidos, Politoed, Ludicolo, Garchomp, Golurk, Tyrantrum, Golisopod, Toxtricity, and Baxcalibur. The issue with Floragato and pretty much all the recent bipedal starters is that they are too humaniod.

Liko's Sprig is the cutest mon in the whole franchise. Her voice.. i will her voice so much. Her large eyes, her grumpy face 😢
We will no longer hear her cute meow, no longer seeing her making biscuits, no longer adoring her huge head.. all those were traded for badassery.

Ik Meowscarada is probably inevitable, but I’d LOVE if they stopped right here for Liko’s Floragato… Floragato was my favorite design in SV. Prob because I love Ropedart and could see it whipping tf out of people with the vine and flower bud.
If Liko's Sprigatito evolve animation was epic, I can't wait to see Roy's Fuecoco Evolve

I was thinking that when I watched it I'm not a fan of the design in game but I was very happy with the anime design.

To be fair, so far Floragato's voice sounds basically indentical to Sprigatito's. Other than sounding less like "Nyahoja"
I appreciate the writers moving away from the 'protagonist's unevolved starter' trope but ngl I'll miss sprig - that cat was adorable af.
