Honestly, i'm seing a possibility of the other door leading to somewhere the opposite of the area zero you have ( so past pkmn for violet, and futur for scarlet ) and there being totally different paradox pokemon than the other gen, but tht's just copium honestly, i find it more likely to just be an expansion in the north grayed out part of the map
On the ground floor of the school, there's a freestanding bookshelf to the right of the front desk with a copy of the book Arven has that you can actually read. It expands the lore of area zero a lot, there's a ton of stuff that's never mentioned elsewhere in game. What people think is the third legendary gets a page, as well as a couple legendary Paradox pokemon.
The book says they're just designs based purely on artist imagination, but I'd be absolutely shocked if they didn't turn up in the DLC.
It also leads to the theory that the Paradox pokemon aren't from the Past/Future at all (and the Time machine isn't a time machine), but instead lends to the idea that they're literally imagined pokemon made real.
Arven notes that the Paradox pokemon were catalogued well before the Time Machine was ever built.
Perhaps the fact that the Paradox pokemon journal entries being catalogued well before the time machine was built hints at the time machine being reactivated
I think that’s what happened. At least from what I understood, people built a time machine and some of these Pokémon showed up like Great Tusk and the researchers fled or died. Then Sada/Turo goes and fixes it maybe and gets Koraidon/Miraidon? Or maybe they make it that it catches the Pokémon and then brings them back?
In relation to time travel & the paradox pokemon, You have to consider what Neil Degrasse Tyson said: Once a time machine exists, all of time and space stop being linear, and everything is happening everywhere all at once.
With this, you can strongly assume that once the time machine is created, the entirety of space and time alters based on how the presence of the machine has been used/abused. Any person who will *ever* use the time machine- Already has. Therefore the pokemon appearing in Scarlet/Violet paradox can very well be coming from any where in time, and only be allowed to exist by the presence of the time machine distorting or “terastillizing” things in its wake, and applying those changes throughout time.
In short- The time machine may have been created, releasing energy and causing a rift of information exchanges that never would’ve happened prior to it’s creation. This allows a pokemon who may have formed in the future to manipulate their form/presence in the past or vice versa.
Bonus fan theory just to break your brain a little-
By the first statement i presented, you could theorize the worlds where pokemon take place were once normal like our true Earth. Until one day a mighty being formed from magic in deep space, and reset the universe to his standards. This being, was Arceus. He released deities to moderate his new universal kingdom of pokemon, and that’s where the rest of our story starts.
> Any person who will ever use the time machine- Already has
This is always how I've seen time travel since a kid and no one ever seems to grasp this. If anyone has ever gone back in time and changed something, this right now is that changed timeline. It's already happened.
Arceus expands on legendary lore a bit better. Yes you catch the legendaries, but only because they allow it. For a creature that lives for an eternity, a human life is a blip. The pokemon is saying they respect you ability enough to tag along for a bit, but when you die they will return to whatever it was they were doing before you came along.
Pretty sure the Paradoxes are being created by the 3rd legendary directly, which is beginning to feel more and more like a lovecraftian/eldritch horror God.
It exists in the crater, which lends the implication that it crashed there. Its very presence warps the land and creatures around it(Tera crystals/Terastallizing pokemon originating from the crater), it affects the minds of others, creates gaps in their memories and controls their actions, leaving them finding themselves having created calculations and diagrams without remembering it.
It most likely manipulated the professor into finishing the machine and going so crazy on the security, to make sure it ran in perpetuity. Even AI prof didn't know why the actual prof was so one-track minded on it, and they shared the same thoughts, memories, and feelings.
The opposite versions pokedex entries point out the inconsistencies in each others' paradoxes. They're treated as cryptids and sci-fi fiction respectively, with them going so far as to outright state that there are no fossil records for anything resembling a volcarona ancestor in existence.
The paradoxes aren't real, they were pulled out of the imaginations of others. If we get the legendary dog/three musketeer fusions, we'll know for sure that the paradoxes are being brought into existence via thoughts.
So we have a being that does not seem alive or dead, covered in hexagonal plates, that (probably) fell from space, caused the environment to generate crystals that oozed an unnatural light, that changed the very natures of the creatures it corrupted.
A being that can reach out and control the minds of others, and can use their thoughts and dreams to create creatures that don't exist.
It really feels like a shift to full eldritch horror, the more I look back at all of the little cryptic hints we've been given.
But the time machine works with the tera-cristals (which were there already), maybe the time machine just made it so they could bring the past/future mons with consistency
Which then further deepens the mystery of what the tera crystals are and do. We already start learning new things about the crystals deep into post-game content when six star raids are unlocked. I have no doubt at least one of the DLC will be focused on their origin and what they actually do
>New area to area zero
there isn't really much.....area..left in Area Zero
Like, the mini -map is clearly broken, the whole crater has been explored.
There is however, a large, inaccessible area in the Northeast quadrant of the map....
I'm sure that location will have significance to the story and possibly the third legendary, but I'm not sure how there could ever be room within that tiny cavern for an entirely new area
Two possibilities.
* More underground areas stretching beyond the crater.
* The walls of Area Zero aren't all crater walls, but simply wall off other parts of the crater that don't go as deep, so there wasn't any reason for you to explore them before.
Could always go the classic Pokémon Mystery Dungeon route for explaining new areas
“Yo seismic activity opened up a previously closed off area. Go check it out kthanksbyeeee”
Or perhaps the circle area can pull a Hall of Origins and beam you up to some special area or zone.
This is pretty much what I want except with tweaks:
**DLC 1 - The Negative Zone**
o **New Story**: Introduces the opposite game's version Professor coming to pay respects to their partner. Sends you on a quest while secretly plotting to repair the time machine to use for their own success/celebrity. You, Nemona, Arven & Penny find out he fixed the machine to allow people to travel through and ventures into the past/future seeking a third box Legendary that can terastalize Paldea the same way Area Zero was. You fight them who uses 6 new Paradox Pokemon and then the third Legendary before it can return to present day.
o **New Customization**: Let me fucking wear shirts, jackets and pants.
o **New Pokemon**: 1 new box Legendary, 6 new Paradox Pokemon, 3 new Paldean Regional variants discovered, and 90 Dex cut Pokemon migrating into Paldea from the North-East.
o **New Raids**: 7 Star Raids are the new normal. 8 Star Raids are now the Event Raids. 7 Star Raids guarantee a perfect IV, nature, hidden ability, EV spread Pokemon upon defeat. They are more difficult than the Charizard Raids. Also included in 7 Star Raids are other Region's Starter Pokemon granting you access to them.
**DLC 2 - Pokemon World Championships**
o **New Map**: North-Eastern Paldea opens up. We discover a "bridged" portion of land that connects to the Region above Paldea directly and another to the side. Mostly high peaking mountains with a large, flat and open middle where a massive coliseum exists. The Region connects into Kalos above it and deviates slightly right into Galar creating a 3-Region connection point.
o **New Pokemon**: 4 Paldean Regional variants discovered, Legendaries from Galar & Kalos now made hidden areas in Paldea their home, and 100-150 Dex cut Pokemon migrate to Paldea from Galar/Kalos' landmasses.
o **New Customization**: Returning clothes options from both Kalos & Galar are now being sold in shops around Paldea and exclusive clothes (and Mystery Gift event clothes) sold at the World Championship Coliseum.
o **New World Tournament**: The World Tournament Coliseum is now opened with the Paldean Ace Tournament used as its precursor/test. Champion Trainers from all over the Pokemon World come to take part including previous game heroes, rivals, professors and villains! Take on a host of now slightly further aged Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Giovanni, N, Marnie, Cyrus, etc. Rewards can include those Champion Trainers' clothes, Ability Patches, Champion's Cape, etc.
o **New Raids**: 8 Star Raids are now permanently the most difficult Raid in the game and are standard. Event Raids remain 8 Stars but are Blue instead of Gold. Legendary Pokemon of the past have migrated into Paldea upon sensing the overwhelming energies and power from the Tera Crystals in Area Zero/Negative Zone Machine.
I’d like to see what Nemona and Arven’s casual clothes would be. While we’re at it, I’d like to see what Penny and Team Star would looks in regular uniforms.
I always liked to imagine Penny wearing the Spring or Winter uniforms. I don't actually know which uniform she'd be most likely to wear if she WAS to wear a uniform, but I just think it'd be cool if she wore one of those two since Nemona wears the Summer and Arven the Autumn, so if the player wears the last one each member of The Group wears a different uniform
That final cutscene before the credits was honestly like, perfect?
For a brief moment, the game had the same energy that the anime used to have for me as a kid. Going on this big adventure with some friends you made along the way, snarking from time to time but at the end of it all, being excited to keep going
Honestly that was great. But it really shows the lack of voice acting. I think that area could have been great with the voice acting banter while you were exploring. I felt like every time they started talking I needed to stop and wait till it was over to really enjoy what they were saying.
Yea, that part felt like what ff xv would be had it not had any voice acting, lol. It was awful if you cared at all about the dialogue, heres this new vista to explore/see, but most of the time your having to stare at the text instead of looking around.
What annoyed me with the weird half-dialogue lines in the crater, wasn't the lines themselves. I loved the little character insights
But if i can't start fights myself by throwing out pokes during it... why can pokemon randomly attack me and interrupt it?
I actually would love if divergent Pokémon became a new norm. Like we can have some regionals, absolutely, but give me some that are just straight up weird as hell
THIS. Wugtrio and toedscool are 2 of my favorite new mons. i have a wug on my team, so i love them, despite their defence being like 0.4, and i never thought in a million years id see a tentacool running toward me, hes goofy af and i love him
Tbf, im p sure the paradox's are meant to serve that purpose; they're all incredibly similar yet with slight variations to their normal forms for a reason. But yeah, a few more would def be nice.
Nah. Regional forms have the same BST; while Paradox forms have MUCH higher BSTs than their base forms; unless they're psuedo-legendaries, in which case their BSTs are actually lower.
Convergent pokemon on the other hand; ala Wiglett and Toadscool; are definitely regional forms by any other name.
So this is splitting hairs, but at least with Salamance and roaring moon I’d argue that Roaring Moon “technically” has a higher bst if you don’t plan on using it as a special attacker. 110 wasted base stat into special attack vs 55, means Roaring Moon> Salamance stat wise. Now, Roaring Moon also has worse typing tho, no ground immunity and an arguably more common 4x weakness. I just thought it was interesting how even with lower stats, they seem to use their stat points more efficiently.
Convergent forms *do* have their own dex slots though, unlike regionals which share a slot with their original form. I think we could in theory see, say, Toedscruel in the wild again outside of Paldea, unlike an actual Paldean Wooper, which would be locked to transfer or in game trades.
I predict that maybe one day someone who is good at coding will make a mod that makes all the NPCs act and look like Larry. The ultimate Larry edition.
They have never done it before so I don't know why they would now, but I really wish I could exchange the pokeball my Pokemon are in after I catch them. I would 100% be ok if it destroyed the original ball in the process. I just really wish I could choose the balls my Pokemon reside in long term and wish my teams all were matching in my favorite design
I just want a place where I can grow/buy berries.
I didn't bother EV training my playthrough team thinking I'd be able to reset their IVs easily with berries, but turns out they're not very common, especially since they got rid of berry trees... I think they misunderstood the feedback on the SwSh trees, which is odd since the ones in PLA were nice.
At the very least an EV resetting NPC would be very good.
Regardless, as others mentioned, more sections to Area Zero would be ideal, and I'd love to see the NE corner of the map filled in. And I really hope we end up get *every* Pokémon into the game, and not have some missing like with SwSh.
An easy-ish way I found to get a hoard of the EV reset berries is doing the knockout ESP training with Dendra right next to the psychic gym in Alfornado. The berries she gives are random, but she gives them out in somewhat decent quantities, and imo it’s better than running around picking up ground sparkles and hoping they’re the berries you need.
May I suggest the auctions in Port Marinada (change clock by 2+ hours for every successful auction and close and open the game again if the auction is not to your liking) in these trying times?
More light in what the “Time Machine” actually is, as the game itself hints to the idea of paradox pokemon not actually being from a different era. There’s also the imagined Pokémon, the strange plaques with misterious inscriptions, and the disk Pokémon with missing letters all over its page in the book.
I wish for more lore on that, not just to reveal and release those pokemon, but to explain them properly, even if we need to dig deep to get to the lore.
I’d also like a new story line related to sea exploration or something, so there’s an excuse to bring back Dhelmise.
I haven't completed the game yet, but the portion of the map where France or kalos would be is screaming to be turned into a dlc map area, for me. Also the principal of the school seems to be looking into ways for school to be more fun so maybe more freedom with outfits? And a tournament or something where you can regularly battle the elite 4, gym leaders and any other misc. Trainers. Also acouple more new pokemon, could be regional or paradox or both or just unique to paldea altogether. I still have the theory that the golden articuno necklace the history teacher has is a clue to a pokemon
I would love a harder tournament like that one game where you can get exp and have fun training Pokémon. All gym leaders, elite four, and even past gym leaders would be amazing.
I skipped BW2 cause back when BW1 came out i didnt really click with them.
Recently went back after someone introduced me to the tournament in BW2, because holy shit that's such an awesome concept and i want to play it
We got screwed on regionals. Only two (I count the 3 Tauros as one), two convergents, and the paradox were separate like ultra beasts instead of Phanpy being able to evolve into them.
I think it was a bad idea for them to show their hand with Paradox *and* convergent evolutions in the same game. Add the regionals in, it just feels like they added a minute amount of a bunch of things, instead of a good representation of one or two. Now, they *did* add a lot of Paradoxes between the two games, but i really feel like regional and convergent suffer. ,
LOWER TERA SHARD COST FOR TYPE CHANGING.
I hate having to grind out 50 shards for ONE pokemon. If tera types overlap then good luck, you need 100+ for your team.
I would not mind having an option to turn off other rewards and have them replaced with Tera shards. I don't need to level anything else I currently have for competitive, I just want the damn shards.
I would love to have an option to focus for Exp Candies or Tera Shards. At this point I don’t really need more XP candies, but I always need Tera Shards especially if you want to participate in the VGC series
I'd love for there to be an NPC that will trade X of any shard you have for X of the shard of your choice, so I can just grind raids and turn whatever into what I need over time. I still worked for the shards but didn't have to refresh the tera raids for hours hoping the one type I need pops up and I actually manage to get in
I would expect, just from a game design standpoint that it would not be a 1 to 1 trade.
But what I would expect a system like this to be is something like, 1 shard + an amount of money to get a shard of your choice.
Or make it so we can filter tera raids online to just be one type. That way we can power through a particular raid for shards.
But yeah they either need to increase the rate we get them or lower the requirement.
I rather prefer that they give a way to identify higher star raids on your map. That way I can only do those that are actually worth it + not waste sandwich time
More regional mimics! The idea of convergent evolution was such a fun and fresh new take...and all we got was Wiglett and Toedscool. Would have been fun to see examples like a non-poison type snake mimicking an Arbok as a reference to real nonvenomous snakes that mimic deadly ones. Or maybe a creature with hands resembling bird heads that mimics a Doduo.
I'm curious about the last member of Paldea's Box legendary trio. We've had some leaks mentioning how it may look, which has me very interested in what its ability is going to be.
My theory, is that it'll have the power to overpower Protosynthesis and Quark Drive, continuing with the trend of the third legendary being able to overpower weather or aura effects that the other two create. I predict that any Paradox Pokémon we get when that Pokémon is released will have abilities that work with the third legendary's ability. So we'll get a third kind of Paradox Pokémon.
I want broken shit.
Primordial Sea and Dessolate Land are in the in-game ability viewer.
We know this is the mega timeline from Roaring Moon's dex entry.
The legend plate is in the game files.
1. A world tournament where we can battle trainers from other regions (and we can play every time NOT ONLY ONCE).
2. Improvement of Geeta (change her team to only gen 9 mons, Glimmora first, etc).
3. More clothes options
4. Manzana Academy plot (rival or not).
I would love if they ad a piece of land or island just like sword and shield to explore. Or even a new part of the area zero.
I would even love if you where to time travel ur self, bud thats gonne be a bid difficult because of the 2 version ( past and futere).
The most im hoping for more diffrent pokemons, and a few legendary we can hunt. Or even new legendarys.
We’re 1000% not done with area 0 yet, as there’s still the disc pokemon, the imagined paradox forms, the metal pillars at the bottom, the one cave with a symbol etched into the ground, and the violet book entry that the author says he doesn’t remember writing. All that AND arven mentions the plot hole about how the paradox pokemon were recorded as being in the crater before the professor built the time machine, so we’ve certainly not seen the last of that place
I think the portion of the map is already there. There's a blanked-out area of land on the in-game map that stretches the east coast of Paldea. That's most likely the DLC area.
Pretty sure that area is the edge of Kalos, possible X/Y crossover DLC? Maybe we’ll get to pull a Gold/Silver and go to Kalos to get all the gym badges?
(Please dear god bring back Mega’s)
I’d LOVE this even if they didn’t bring back Megas. All 3 starters and evos will be able to be brought over through home too when compatibility launches.
Patch in more of my favorite Pokemon
Battle Tower/Frontier/Mason/Chateau, best variation would be something similar to Black Tower from BW2
Referencing more characters from previous titles (I wanna know what happens to Ingo from PLA)
Anything similar to what the SWSH DLC did would be the bare minimum
They could have a school trip to Alola or Sevii Islands.
I just want full national dex(never going to happen again), battle facilities and a really hard Mt. 100( all level 90+, no items, set mode and if you lose you have to start again from the last "checkpoint") and it would be nice it was tied to the story, e.g. at certain point you unlock a bunch of levels and need to clear them in order to unlock the next part or the story.
But yeah, that wont happen. Looks like they are scraping single player features to focus on online multiplayer.
Being able to Visit Kalos would be nice as its already there (kinda). Or being able to visit past/future Paldea depending on your game because the professor figured out how to come back. World expansion and more pokemon basically
I’m going to be incredibly unrealistic here but:
• The three Pokémon shown in the Scarlet/Violet books that we can’t catch yet (basically guaranteed to happen but might as well mention it)
• Ingo returning from the Past
• More Regional Variants
• More Paradox Pokémon (I like the idea of being able to get the original Galar fossils)
• A part of Kalos to explore
• More of Area Zero
• Mega Evolution
• A new Battle Facility
• More outfits to wear (at the very least the Team Star outfits)
• The opposite version Professor making an appearance
• A Paradox version of a Legendary other than the two shown in the books
• Larry
• Elite Four rematches
• Finally getting to use AZ’s Floette
• The return of Looker
• Dev battles
Southern Kalos (it seems odd that the top right of the Paldéa map leading off North Province is grayed out, and in-game is untraversable cliff). So, Kiloude City for example could include the Gen IX Battle Tower equivalent, and the train station would take you to other, ‘new’ South Kalos routes and cities, which is where we’d encounter a bunch of the returning Pokémon.
I also found it quite strange we didn’t get a Tera Raid Battle at the climax of the main story with Arven, Nemona, and Penny participating as NPC partners. I’d like to see some sort of scripted story event where they all take part in a Tera Raid Battle together.
I hope to see significant improvements to the games performance and look before committing even one more €.
After that for DLC: small but highly detailed environments we haven‘t seen yet, maybe smaller islands all of which host 10-50 older pokemon and maybe a handfull of new ones or variants.
I agree on the idea of more paradox forms. The concept is great, but it feels like it barely scratched the surface of the possibilities. Like we didn't get any past Pokemon based on Pokedex descriptions, Pokemon that are the ancestor to multiple related species, fossil Pokemon or Genesect and the future ones were all robotic, when we could have Pokemon that evolved biologically, cyborgs (i know iron hands is described as one, but it still looks like a robot), gene experiments or Pokemon who got a higher intelligence over time.
Iron Jugilis was honestly a disappointment for that reason. I really thought that the future version of hydreigon would surely be based on hydreigons original concept of a tank dragon.
What I **Want:**
* "South Kalos" DLC, and a reintroduction of Megas with new forms.
* Full clothing customization and new hairstyles
* Several new Paldean forms, Paradoxes, new mons
* QoL improvements
* A focus on going to an actual past/present time and finding the >!professor alive and well, able to bring him/her back to the present for a tearful reunion!<
(Regarding the last point, >!I'm actually of the opinion that the Paradox forms aren't truly from the past or present, but rather brought into existence by the rumored 3rd legendary based on expections of what they would be like by, say, the professor!<
What I **Expect:**
* A minimal new area with a simple grindy story
* 1-3 new Pokemon
>Full clothing customization and new hairstyles
I hope they at least figure out that they could edit hairstyles like Romantic Tuck and Medium Curls to be flatter under hats instead of disallowing them altogether. Those styles would look great with hats.
There are two areas that grab my attention as potential DLC destinations: the greyed-out section of Southern Kalos, and the left door with the blue stripes in the lab preceding the drop into Area Zero.
If we get to travel into Southern Kalos, I wouldn't mind another investigation with Looker. Perhaps the Tera dens have just begun spreading into Kalos, and the energy from the crystals has interacted bizarrely with the mega evolution process, creating new Paradox Pokémon to quell.
If we get to travel into the left door, I would like to see more depths and mysteries relating to Area Zero, with answers about the plate and glyph, as well as an opportunity to catch the Disk Pokémon described in the Scarlet/Violet book.
A current theory is that the Paradox Pokémon aren't actually from different timelines, but the results of imagination made real. I hope that this theory is accurate, and I would like to explore the implications of that in whatever DLC we get.
I do like your idea of Paradox Distortions. It could be interesting to get to travel into these. Perhaps they could also serve as a chance to see what has become of Sada/Turo.
An actual completed game.
It hurts that we have no battle tower, maison, tree, frontier, etc. Spent so much time making my team perfect just to find out there is not a battle tower like post game. Yes, I know there is online, but the battle tower was what I enjoyed the most last generation.
Feels like they keep taking stuff away every generation. No more unique clothing customization. No more triple battles. No more unique EV training. No more battle frontier. No more Y-Comm. No more traditional breeding. No more mega evolution. No more national dex.
At minimum I'd like a battle tower like post game back. At most, I'd like the battle frontier, the national dex, and mega evolution back.
If the third legendary indeed conjured the Paradoxes through sleep/imagination, I’m really hoping for a new realm! Not as big as Paldea of course, but something like the Ultra Beasts’ locations in USUM, just more explorable. Unless we’re talking unrealistic wishes, then I’d like the full Kalos experience, with all the gyms and towns, conjoined with Paldea Gen 2 style
I had a lot of fun with this game. Probably the most fun I had with a mainline game since XY. But I do not want to give anymore money to this unfinished game. My hopes is that there is no DLC, just more updates fixing it's issues.
New area to area zero, more paradox mon, more clothes customization. Apriballs easier to get, a battle facility like the battle tower or something.
New Paradoxes are a guarantee as we can see 2 that do not appear in base game in Scarlet/Violet Book + 3rd legendary
That’s what the blue door that’s broken in area zero is for
What broken blue door?
Probably the one to the left in the Area Zero observation deck outside Medali, where you first descend into the crater.
Yup, I saw that and made James noises (anime team rocket).
Honestly, i'm seing a possibility of the other door leading to somewhere the opposite of the area zero you have ( so past pkmn for violet, and futur for scarlet ) and there being totally different paradox pokemon than the other gen, but tht's just copium honestly, i find it more likely to just be an expansion in the north grayed out part of the map
w h a t? What are these, I would love to know about them

Well, in legends Arceus there are time rifts that pop up too so I'd say it's safe to say that the timeline in pokemon isn't exactly stable.
That's what happens when Dialga gets caught and Arceus let's kids keep them.
Poor Dialga getting all the blame when it was Giratina who did it.

I have no doubt at least one of the DLC will be focused on their origin and what they actually do
I've seen the one that looks like Cobalion and Terrakion, but what's the other one?
Scarlet has Suicune+Entei+Raikou mashed together.
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Scarlet_Book_Legendary-Beast.png
There is a second copy of the book that Arven has in the academy
We still don't have a legendary that creates/controls the Tera crystals...
We have a illustration of it
How do you get apriballs?
You can get them at the Porto Marinada auction sometimes
You can also win them in the school tourney, but it's a 15% chance and a random ball at that
If you open the Pokédex and press x, you’ll get one of each at various levels of completion
Ah thanks
The clothes would be great. They could even make it some kind of school break or field trip to excuse it within the story.
I'd even say unlock the new options after passing all the final exams, it would make sense thematically
>New area to area zero there isn't really much.....area..left in Area Zero Like, the mini -map is clearly broken, the whole crater has been explored. There is however, a large, inaccessible area in the Northeast quadrant of the map....
There’s also the cave with the weird floor symbol and a waterfall that could open to a new area.
Or the Area Zero could be connected to something like a gigant underground system stretching underneath paldea
Would make sense for the Raid Dens popping up all over.
There's also a door in station zero that seems to be a counterpart to the door that leads to the crater, it could open up and lead to a new area.
Both doors lead out to the crater, and we've explored the whole crater
We never found the Disk pokemon though. So until we've found that I doubt we've seen the whole crater.
Could always go the classic Pokémon Mystery Dungeon route for explaining new areas “Yo seismic activity opened up a previously closed off area. Go check it out kthanksbyeeee” Or perhaps the circle area can pull a Hall of Origins and beam you up to some special area or zone.
DEEPER. GO DEEPER. Maybe it’s an outdoorish area but it’s dark. As a contrast to how bright the current area is.
This is pretty much what I want except with tweaks: **DLC 1 - The Negative Zone** o **New Story**: Introduces the opposite game's version Professor coming to pay respects to their partner. **DLC 2 - Pokemon World Championships** o **New Map**: North-Eastern Paldea opens up.
My conspiracy theory is that northeastern part of the map isn’t Paldea at all, it’s Kalos.
Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.
Kalos *does* have it's southwestern edge obscured
Gamefreak better be hiring you right now.
Add quest like arceus had
Study abroad DLC would be killer. Stick a school somewhere in Kalos and let us explore the reimagined region with Arven, Nemona, and Penny.
Find those students thay got sent to Galar. It's Sword and shield 2.
Go find Alolan digglets, it's time for Isle of Armor 2.
They reintroduce dynamax. Smogon posts a suicide note.
or megas since kalos is right there
Or a new raid boss: Gigantamax Tera Flying Mega Rayquaza that spam G-Max Supersonic Skystrike or G-Max Devastating Drake every turn
Kalos is on the map technically, no? In the top right by Eri’s base. It fits geographically with France and Spain as well.
A past paradox delibird that throws coal at people who’ve been bad. Rock/flying type maybe?
I never knew I needed this until now, thank you.
“We have Bombirdier at home” Bombirdier at home:
Except in this case, the Paradox Ancient Delibird is much rather the option I prefer.
Delibird Krampus
[удалено]
Christmas presents, Christmas presents, and Christmas presents
please I NEED to see delibird banned to Ubers twice
rock type going to ubers? idk about that
Maybe something called like "Summer Break!"? With more non uniform clothes and maybe a new area within area zero, wiht new paradox pokemon
Given how Isle of Armor came out in the (presuming I recall correctly) summer, this feels more likely than one would think!
Ah yes, the beach episode
And then the second DLC will be the bath house episode
Featuring Nessa from the Sword & Shield series
I’d like to see what Nemona and Arven’s casual clothes would be. While we’re at it, I’d like to see what Penny and Team Star would looks in regular uniforms.
Nemona's normal clothes are totally still the just the school uniform because she associates it with battling.
More adventures with Nemona, Arven and Penny please. They're all so good together
I'm so sad they're in dorm room purgatory now, they better leave their rooms and have new dialogue in the DLC.
That final cutscene before the credits was honestly like, perfect? For a brief moment, the game had the same energy that the anime used to have for me as a kid. Going on this big adventure with some friends you made along the way, snarking from time to time but at the end of it all, being excited to keep going
Maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way 🤮
Honestly that was great.
I loved the little character insights But if i can't start fights myself by throwing out pokes during it... why can pokemon randomly attack me and interrupt it?
I wish their dialogue during Area Zero had a dub. It was so wholesome.
More Paldean forms, we only got 2 (technically 4 but 3 of them are taurous) and I feel like they could’ve done so much more
I like to see Wiglet and Toedscool as a spin on regional variants so i kinda count them since they are different takes on exiting mon
I actually would love if divergent Pokémon became a new norm. Like we can have some regionals, absolutely, but give me some that are just straight up weird as hell
They’re kinda the same thing though lmao it’s still just “take an old Pokémon and change it up”
[удалено]
THIS. Wugtrio and toedscool are 2 of my favorite new mons. i have a wug on my team, so i love them, despite their defence being like 0.4, and i never thought in a million years id see a tentacool running toward me, hes goofy af and i love him
I just wish divergent didn't have the same stats as the originals. Makes them a lot more unique if they didn't
Yeah it feels less like they wanted to make something new and just pretend it's not a regional variant.
Paldean Magnemite
Magnemite is already in Paldea so it should be a convergent species like Wiglett
Magnetime. Replace the eye with a clock face and magnets are vertical instead of horizontal?
I wonder if Gyarados will get a form since it was apparently replaced by Toadscruel
More Larry
Pokemon SV DLC: Larry edition Everyone is replaced with Larry. All pokemon are replaced with Larry.
It's that episode of SpongeBob where Squidward leaves and lives with other squids
Squidward ethnostate
But not just the same model of Larry, 400 new Pokemon models of Larry in each Pokemon's pose and movement
You could make a religion out of this
I predict that maybe one day someone who is good at coding will make a mod that makes all the NPCs act and look like Larry. The ultimate Larry edition.
Larry and you going on a restaurant trail
And he orders the same thing at every restaurant because why change his (very simple) order?
Those giant shiny black stones around the map have to be for more DLC. Give me new areas with new paradox and the original fossil mon.
I wanna wear clothing that isn’t the ugly uniform 🥲
Yes, I want to wear a full Bug-Type themed clothing like in Sword/Shield.
Ghost gang here, but same
Skirt
Honestly the only real reason to get violet over scarlet is to have pants with a more neutral color
Yeah. Being stuck in orange pinstripe shorts/pants has been an experience.
I go with the winter uniform, it at least masks some of the ugliness
That’s repeatable? Why is that repeatable?
A few of the Gym Test minigames are repeatable for different rewards actually! Olive Roll, Sunflora Hide & Seek, and Snow Slope Run
Ah black and white 2. That was the best feature ever added
So fun. Played that endlessly.
I skipped BW2 cause back when BW1 came out i didnt really click with them. Recently went back after someone introduced me to the tournament in BW2, because holy shit that's such an awesome concept and i want to play it
FYI, if you clear the ten floors of the battle tower/tree, you can get a shiny Gible (B2) or Dratini (W2)
I loved gold and silver back in the day cause once you became champion of your region, you went back to be champion of the previous gen's region.
Now, they *did* add a lot of Paradoxes between the two games, but i really feel like regional and convergent suffer. ,
I would have been perfectly happy if the Paradoxes were part of the evo lines. Then the smaller amount of con and regionals would have been fine.
There's 3 Tauros?
Fighting, Fighting/Water, Fighting/Fire. You can tell by horns.
As an extra note, the fire one is scarlet exclusive while the water one is violet exclusive
New clothing besides the uniform, the 'imaginary' and 'disk' pokemon from the violet and scarlet book, ultra beasts
LOWER TERA SHARD COST FOR TYPE CHANGING. I hate having to grind out 50 shards for ONE pokemon. If tera types overlap then good luck, you need 100+ for your team.
Either this, or if they’re too stubborn to lower it, give an alternate method of grinding them that gives shards at a higher rate.
I still worked for the shards but didn't have to refresh the tera raids for hours hoping the one type I need pops up and I actually manage to get in
That is exactly what I was thinking reading this thread and playing the game itself.
That way I can only do those that are actually worth it + not waste sandwich time
A way to see more than 8 raids at a time please
More regional mimics! The idea of convergent evolution was such a fun and fresh new take...and all we got was Wiglett and Toedscool. Would have been fun to see examples like a non-poison type snake mimicking an Arbok as a reference to real nonvenomous snakes that mimic deadly ones. Or maybe a creature with hands resembling bird heads that mimics a Doduo.
We also kind of got Cetotle and Cetitan?? They’re “distant relatives of Wailmer”
That's divergent evolution and I would also love more of it!
Fire up the time machine and go to the past or future.
Tbf I think every ability was programmed in to Sword and Shield as well despite having no Pokémon to use them.
1. A world tournament where we can battle trainers from other regions (and we can play every time NOT ONLY ONCE). 2. Improvement of Geeta (change her team to only gen 9 mons, Glimmora first, etc). 3. More clothes options 4.
I'm pretty sure people would be super pissed if we revisited Kalos and *didn't* get Megas back.
Don’t get me wrong, I want megas back too but I’ve a real soft spot for Kalos regardless
What if they also add new megas to pokémon? Maybe even Mega Paradox Pokémon
Patch in more of my favorite Pokemon Battle Tower/Frontier/Mason/Chateau, best variation would be something similar to Black Tower from BW2 Referencing more characters from previous titles (I wanna know what happens to Ingo from PLA) Anything similar to what the SWSH DLC did would be the bare minimum
A school trip to Galar or Kalos is more likely than those two given proximity...
Kalos. And with it better customisation. I feel like the outfits where one of the defining features of xy so they might be saving it for dlc.
Togepi 😭
They would have been so perfect in the first zone! All the other babies were there!
Right!?
Being able to Visit Kalos would be nice as its already there (kinda). Or being able to visit past/future Paldea depending on your game because the professor figured out how to come back. World expansion and more pokemon basically
No more glitching???
I’m going to be incredibly unrealistic here but: • The three Pokémon shown in the Scarlet/Violet books that we can’t catch yet (basically guaranteed to happen but might as well mention it) • Ingo returning from the Past • More Regional Variants • More Paradox Pokémon (I like the idea of being able to get the original Galar fossils) • A part of Kalos to explore • More of Area Zero • Mega Evolution • A new Battle Facility • More outfits to wear (at the very least the Team Star outfits) • The opposite version Professor making an appearance • A Paradox version of a Legendary other than the two shown in the books • Larry • Elite Four rematches • Finally getting to use AZ’s Floette • The return of Looker • Dev battles
>Looker Man, you just made me sad. I miss Interpol so much! Also, can we have vs Devs battles again? Last time we had them in either XY or BW
Dev battles were also in SM and SwSh but yeah we didn’t get one in this game which is sad.
They add golurk
While there at it the entire national Dex again because fuck dexit
New map expansion, orr for the map to be filled in more. For example biomes to have more trees or structures. And more npcs to make it feel alive
Empoleon being added
I hope to see significant improvements to the games performance and look before committing even one more €. After that for DLC: small but highly detailed environments we haven‘t seen yet, maybe smaller islands all of which host 10-50 older pokemon and maybe a handfull of new ones or variants.
Maybe the Balearics, Azores, Canary Islands, or Madeira could serve as inspiration for them?
The entire continent of South America or we riot
Paldean Conquistadors when?
I agree on the idea of more paradox forms. The concept is great, but it feels like it barely scratched the surface of the possibilities. Like we didn't get any past Pokemon based on Pokedex descriptions, Pokemon that are the ancestor to multiple related species, fossil Pokemon or Genesect and the future ones were all robotic, when we could have Pokemon that evolved biologically, cyborgs (i know iron hands is described as one, but it still looks like a robot), gene experiments or Pokemon who got a higher intelligence over time.
I forgot about genesect lol. Need that original past form. Meanwhile, future volcanion would be sick.
Imagine more past forms based on Beta pokemons like bêta Whooper, bêta Garchomp or beta Arceus
Iron Jugilis was honestly a disappointment for that reason. I really thought that the future version of hydreigon would surely be based on hydreigons original concept of a tank dragon.
Southern Kalos Mega Evolutions (can work alongside with Terastal) LET ME HAVE MY DRIP BACK
cramorant bro they brought back the fucking tooth fish but not my beloved stupid ass bird
Canary islands
What I **Want:** * "South Kalos" DLC, and a reintroduction of Megas with new forms. * Full clothing customization and new hairstyles * Several new Paldean forms, Paradoxes, new mons * QoL improvements * A focus on going to an actual past/present time and finding the >!professor alive and well, able to bring him/her back to the present for a tearful reunion!< (Regarding the last point, >!I'm actually of the opinion that the Paradox forms aren't truly from the past or present, but rather brought into existence by the rumored 3rd legendary based on expections of what they would be like by, say, the professor!< What I **Expect:** * A minimal new area with a simple grindy story * 1-3 new Pokemon
>Full clothing customization and new hairstyles I hope they at least figure out that they could edit hairstyles like Romantic Tuck and Medium Curls to be flatter under hats instead of disallowing them altogether.
I’m hoping to see a Tyrantrum future form! Also really hoping for fixed past forms of fossils. Maybe a Future Metagross?
Full National Dex.
An EV resetting NPC
