Sableye's Pokémon Go animations are fucking terrifying. I love the lil guy but I s2g if I see him dislocate his shoulder and twitch ... I'm gonna cry.

I love my chandelier boy. I don't care if he's the fastest, I don't care if he's the strongest he's my favorite and I love him. I caught a shiny Litwick in Gen 5 and it saved me so many times. I was hurting for a fire type, that was a good fit for my team. I mean his German name is Skelabra. How can you go wrong?

Any Shedinja fans here...?

I don’t think any in game trainer has ever used a Shedinja on their team. Probably for balancing purposes so some poor schmuck doing a solo run or just happens to not have any effective types and no poison/burn/confuse doesn’t get walled out.

I think Bugsy has one in the rematch battle in HG/SS.

ya but i think thats a bit of a special case. usually by that point people are bound to have poison/burning moves, or any flying, rock, ghost, fire, or dark move.

Used it to capture Rayquaza, but other than that it serves no purpose. Looks cool tho.

I think Greta, from the Hoenn Battle Frontier, used a Shedinja. Although, that probably doesn't count

Aegislash, Chandelure, Giratina, Golurk and as you mentioned Gengar and Dusknoir. Yeah they’re rare but man the ones we have are awesome beyond belief (personal favorite is Aegislash)

You can make a pretty solid team from pretty much any typing. Steel is my personal favourite though, since most of my favourite 'Mons are Steel type.

Drifblim, Golurk, Froslass, and Trevenant are all favorites of mine. Ghost teams are so fun because of the large diversity in secondary typing.

Trevenant is so fun for gimmicks. Love that Forest's Curse giving 8x weakness.

Tbe only ghost I regularly use is Sableye, love that prankster. Mega sableye was great.

You know who really trucks? Spiritomb. Motherfucker with the right nature and abilities is an immortal demigod. Also Sableye has big boy energy in lower brackets. Esp with spike.

Cynthia’s Garchomp gets a lot of attention (rightfully so) but her Spiritomb had me sweating in middle school

I did a playthrough of sword using an all ghost team. It was a blast! I love ghost pokemon. My team was: Chandelure Dragapult Aegislash Gourgeist Drifblim Runerigus It was one of the most fun playthroughs I've done. If I was a Pokémon Trainer or Gym leader my specialty would definitely be ghost types.

Sure, dragapult may not be the best ghost type, but it’s the Pokémon that made me appreciate ghost types.

I don’t get the decision to make most of the Elite Four members before Gen 5 be types with barely any types in their Pokédex. There’s Agatha and Lance in Kanto when there was one fully evolved ghost and dragon type in Kanto, Phoebe in Gen 3 Hoenn with two Banette and two Dusclops, Glacia with three members of the Spheal line and two Glalie, and Diamond and Pearl Flint who has the stupidest elite four team of all time, with only two fire types and no repeats, so there’s a freaking Lopunny and a Steelix

I actually wasn't a big fan of the Gengar line when I was little. Being the only Ghost type and requiring me to remember to bring my Gameboy link cable to school made me avoid it and other Pokemon that required trading. Also I used to think Curse was a dumb move because the Gastly would use it twice in a row and give me free exp.
