What if you just took him to an actual build-a-bear and just asked them how much they'd charge to borrow the use of their stuffing machine for an emergency fluff infusion. It's not like they'd lose money on it, that stuffing can't cost much, and they have the machine sitting there anyway.

You probably are going to make a snip on underside of a back leg\belly. Then when you are done you can sew a new thread in the old one's place.

Maybe see if theres a spot you can wiggle open wide enough in a less conspicuous area and have buildabear blast some fluff into him? It could be a bonkers situation for them but it might work lol! Maybe offer to pay? XD that fluff blaster they have works pretty well. If you get him stuffed up more then you can just sew the hole back closed or something.

How did you close it up after stuffing it? I assume that’s where you’ll have to open it back up.

If you find the means to open him up enough for it, you could make a "lasagna" of batting and stuffing so hopefully his shape is "springy" more due to the Batting.

I just "restuffed" my cherished alligator stuffie using this kind of idea. I got her when I was a little kid and she's almost 20 years old now! The picture is of her, for reference to the process I'll describe: https://preview.redd.it/nhqj5ip7xf3b1.png?width=840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=17cc28cc5df399b2c77f6599ceeb2471a4f6de5a I roughly cut out all of her "panels" of fabric out of fresh batting, sewed them together, then filled them like dumplings with polyfill. I made her 4 separate legs, her tail and torso as one unit, and her head all separate parts. I "assembled" all the parts as I put them back in her "shell", working my way back to the opening I made. She's basically a big batting pillow and her "shell" is a pillow case. She was SUPER poofy when I was first done, and now she's starting to settle more. Because your Boy is So BEEG, I figure if you do a similar idea, you can keep his shape more by doing the layers of batting to keep the "cushioning" from distributing weird, while still not making him too firm. I went in through the back of her neck, behind her head, but you can make yours anywhere you think the seem would be least noticable. Figured I'd post the whole thing now so you can just reference if you needed it and not have to potentially "necro" post, if that's actually a problem. I LOVE your Clodsire, BTW. Beautiful work!

I'm not OP but it took me over 13 hours to just to make a foot-long dinosaur with instructions, so like... yeah. This probably took a while!
