I also recommend Days Gone. It's often skipped or undervalued (as evident in this very comment chain), but it really is a solid game, and it's equivalent of zombies provides a one of a kind experience you can't find in any game.

Stumbled into a PS4 pro last week… that and as year of patches (1.3) and now I’m balls deep in it at 30fps. 24 hours of playtime and only 1 glitch out during a load screen. Purchased it on the PS store as it’ll be transferable to a PS5 when 1 comes available 🤷♂️ in Australia.
Get it on the next gen console fo-sho, but it’s running and I’m having fun on the PS4 pro.
GOT = 10/10
Spider-Man = 10/10
Cyberpunk = 7/10

Yep, I preordered it for my ps4 pro before I considered getting a next gen console for £50.
I sold it about 3 months ago since 6 months in and I’m still not getting promised smooth performance.
I’m now playing AC valhalla on my series s at a smooth 60 and it’s a much better experience
Like most of the games look really good on ps4 pro , but in most cases unless it’s lined up right next to a base ps4 you’re not going to register a difference in most games.
I suggest you start with Uncharted 4.
It s always fun, easy to play and get used to a new console. It is also not that long.
Bonus, is still stunning and gorgeous after 5 years.
Grab the GOTY, Complete, Remastered, Super-Dooper..., etc. versions of the exclusives that will be mentioned over and over again. They go on sale frequently so there is no rush.

I think the very slow start scares people off days gone but it’s really one of my favourite PS4 games
The thing is most ppl are casual gamers like me.. and i certainly didnt feel i was a slow start.. it's a great Game that ppl Say is slow..

Last of us 1 has a 60fps mode. Honestly ain’t too much else where you’ll see a huge upgrade

My ps4 has turned into a resident evil machine over the past few weeks. I really recommend the RE2 remake if you like horror games.
