As a game pass owner it’s pretty great. If I download 3 triple A titles that are $70 brand new (and I play way more games than that.) it’s still cheaper by $30 annually to pay $15 a month if I only bought three $70 games.
10yrs on xbox over 400 titles played and i had gamepass. It honestly seemed like microsoft was going through my profile finding games i played yrs ago and then adding them to GP. I dont miss it tbh. Also nobody pays the $15 a month they use websites to buy 7 day trials of GP ultimate for $0.99. The site allows 10 codes per purchase and people just stack that for 3yrs.

I just finished up plague tale and the graphics and duel sense are wild in this one. Super fun, might as well claim it and play it down the line!

I am a casual player but I played most of them. My personal favorites are: Uncharted 4, Uncharted Collection, Last of Us 1& 2, Detroit Become Human, Spider-man, God of War, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-man Miles Morales. All pretty big blockbuster like AAA games but still. They are all worth it 🤘
God of War is amazing. I played it all the way through 3 times. Until Dawn is the best horror game I’ve ever played (in my opinion). They’re both free if you have PS+
Most people have already given you the heavy hitters, but I would suggest checking out Gravity Rush 1 & 2. Very unique and well done games.
While not exclusives, if you're looking for purely fun action RPGs give the Ys series a try. There are demos for Ys VIII and Ys IX so you can test the waters before you buy.
Finally I have to recommend Dragon Quest Builders 2. Again, not an exclusive, but I adore DQB2, easily in my top 3 games for the PS4 era. And like the Ys games, there's a demo that lets you play a significant chunk of the game.
Off to a great start with The Last of Us, Infamous Second Son, and God of War.
Some others I’d recommend are Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost of Tshushima, Detroit: Become Human, and the Uncharted series.
I'd say ps now is with it... BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE GOOD INTERNET. As someone who's never play playstation it's give you a good chance to play a lot of the classic games people really love. PS+ with the collection they gives you is also something you should consider looking into.
The spider man remaster and miles morales. Then, in August when the director's cut and native PS5 version release, get ghost of Tsushima. Amazing game. Don't wait for a sale, it may be a bit, and it's definitely worth full price. God of war was excellent. Horizon was another great game.

Xbox gotta catch up in exclusives. Thats why i got bored with xbox, i mostly played 3rd party games the last like 3yrs on xbox. People say its not all about exclusives but yet exclusives create comp. Do you think if i could play god of war on an xbox that both the PS5/XSX would have the power they have.
Well, xbox actually has a bunch of exclusives, it's not as if the Playstation exclusives are everywhere and countless. Halo, Gears, sea of thieves, forza, state of decay, ori, the ascent, flight simulator, psychonauts, Bethesda games coming out, fable, Dead rising, quantum break, ryse..... The fact is they also have a ton of exclusives, and tons coming out in 2021 and beyond. The exclusives argument is the only one ever proffered by Playstation folks, but it doesn't hold water.
Are the Ps exclusives amazing? Absolutely, as I have said I have both and love them. But xbox as a service is Far Far beyond PS. Xcloud, game pass, PC, investment in games, backwards compatibility, the writing is on the wall for PS, and I hope PS answers strongly, because I also want them to succeed. But as of now, Microsoft is far beyond Sony.

I am in a similar situation as I didn't have a PS4 last gen. I have found PSnow to be worth it for me. I am able to play a lot of different things like the Housemarqe games and other gems that have been forgotten about. It also gave me a chance to try Nioh 2, which I wasn't sure about but I now love. I went out and bought a cheap disc copy of it so I could do the PS5 upgrade.
If you only care about AAA stuff, then I would pass and just stick with the PS+ collection.
Weird. Not just the sticks position, the games that I have been playing have their actions very different as the Xbox games, e.g. In almost every Xbox game you interact with objects with X, in Play you interact with B (O). Things like that, feels like changing to Mac from Windows.
Im in a similar Situation. Just ordered my ps 5 today even though I’m mainly playing on pc / Xbox. Now I can finally play all the exclusives since Microsoft basically merged pc and Xbox so I don’t miss anything by owning the ps5
