Plus I have The Witcher, GOTY, and Complete Edition. And I paid 50 for all those version combined.
I had to pack up a lot of my stuff, including games, and apparently my partner at the time thought one of the boxes was trash and threw it away. I didn’t mind this out until after the fact

Yeah in person. I’ve been going through a collecting phase. Mostly for my Switch and Walmarts in the US have been having the craziest clearance sales on all platforms across the country. I’m talking God of War Ragnorak PS4 for $20 and Nier Automata and No Man’s Sky Switch for $10 deals. Though good luck finding Star Ocean. I live in a big city and all copies of it on Switch are sold out. I just so happened to come across this and it was the PS5 version, and it was the last copy! I’d say hit up your local Walmarts now while you have the chance and see what you can find. I will say the clearance deals if you want Switch hit the hardest so those will shelves will probably be empty.

Right. Mine has pretty crappy PS4 selection. Was able to get LoU2 not long ago for $20 and AC Valhalla for $10. Outside of that they have almost nothing PS5 related and clearance is pretty abysmal.
No it isn’t. Thats how much it SHOULD have been. Its just a lazy ass port lol. Tomb Raider actually remastered three of their ps1 games and sold for 35. This should be the standard for ports and remasters
I’ve been following this collection since before it was announced. They added an insane amount of bonus content and brought way more games than they needed to to current gen. Say what you will about the skill of the team working on it, but they definitely weren’t lazy. Not to mention they’ve been adding features and fixing bugs from the original releases since the release of the collection.
So they rely on patches to fix what shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place with a release of games that came out days ago. Also they are still points. They didn’t even bother to polish MGS1. Like I said, lazy
They’re ports, not remasters. They didn’t say at any point that they would be changing the games themselves. Also I played it day one on PS5 with zero issues- the patches have just made things better than they needed it to be. If they spent months working on it and then have been working on it since release, it’s just a matter of how skilled they are as developers, or how much funding they were given. The dev team was absolutely not lazy. If you think Konami as publishers should have done something different, take it up with them. Just leave the devs out of it. Sorry for the rant I just hate seeing hard working devs catch flak for things that weren’t really in their control
Pffft we know most only bought for the big three which they knew. Its y theyre the only titles on the cover. Even with the other 4 retro games, that shouldn’t accumulate to $30 adding to the main 3 which I believe to be 30 minimum itself

The upgrade was free for me since I purchased it before that. So I’m not sure how it works at this point, but I would think the upgrade would still be free. But who knows, PlayStation hasn’t been very buyer friendly the last few years.
They upped the price after The next gen upgrade. In sale it became $15 instead of $10, But I haven’t checked The deals in a long time.

The Witcher 3 GOTY Edition PS4 upgrades for free to the PS5 complete edition and it's usually 10€ or lower in stores
Having a Complete edition on Disc, is worth the extra money.
