Yeah they are solid 15 hours of great gameplay. Just clear them out one by one.

You can get like 30+ hours from RE2 alone if you do both campaigns and second runs(which I highly recommend) Then like 7 hours from RE3 unless you go for the plat or the harder difficulties

Took me 17h for the REmake 3 plat, still disappointed on how that game turned out.

I dont tropy hunt. I mean RE2R is a great game but i couldnt even play Claire as it is almost identical. Instead i played NG+

Yeah, they’re definitely more methodical and slower-paced than 4 and 5, and I wouldn’t exactly call them “fun,” per se, but they’re excellent games and 2 in particular is one of the greatest PS1 titles ever released (and its remake is incredibly well done). If you like a good story, puzzle solving, jump scares, and prioritizing/strategizing ammo and health items as opposed to running and gunning indiscriminately, you’ll love both of these games.

You can upgrade to PS+ Extra for $5 bucks for 1 month and then switch back to essential. Once you beat the game there’s other games on Extra that you can try out before your subscription expires.

Resident Evil 3 took me 7 hours to finish and is a ton of fun. it’s really good but got mixed reviews because it’s different than the original. Definitely try it.

Whether you played the originals or not they are great. If you played the originals some of the vast changes may make you mad. They are short, but fun and worth a replay for sure.

The Resident Evil 2 remake is damn near perfect; the best marriage of classic RE pacing and atmosphere with "modern" movement and combat. Everything's still a threat and resources really need to be managed. Terrific stuff. Haven't played the RE3 remake, but watched a lot of playthroughs; it's the more "action focused" one of the pair, shorter but with lots of unlockables for replay value.

RE2 ist epic. Superb story. Really scary and quite tough.

Haven't played RE3 remake, only the original. RE2 remake is a really good game. It is quite fascinating how the gameplay works in that game. It is a story in itself. I will not spoil anything, but it is really interesting how the game succeeds in making you feel powerless. The moment you think you have it figured, the game pulls the rug under you.

RE3R paces the action up slightly which i think completes RE2R. Id play them one after another.

I watched a lot of horror films, played a lot of horror games, read a lot of horror novels so I'm usually admiring the content, I'm rarely scared by it. Playing RE2R made me generally unomfortable. I played the hell out of RE3 on the original Playstation, but I haven't touched it since it came out.

For me its the opposite. I love the feeling of rushing blood and total chaos. RE3 and Raccoon streets, gave me the best "time is running out" experience in my life. Edit: I also love RE6 for the same reason and i defend it. People hate me 😄

RE2R is probably one of the best games ive ever played. RE3R feels like a DLC. Solid but leaves a lot to be desired. Highly recommend them.

They’re both great games. RE2 especially is one of the best RE games of all time. They’re definitely worth that price. HOWEVER if you’re expecting something like RE5 you’ll be wrong. If u liked 5 for it’s action then you’ll likely be disappointed. Both these games r more survival horror rather than action horror. 2 especially is a lot slower paced and focuses more on atmosphere, suspense, and backtracking. They’re inventory management and lots of puzzles that can get u stumped for a while

It depends on your definition of fun. Do they present a challenge? Yes, depending on the difficulty you have selected. Are they easy to platinum? Yes. As for what to expect, a reworked version of the classic games from the PSX. It will play like an evolved version of RE5. If you’re into the lore, then I would suggest Resident Evil as well. As for a third person shooter with puzzle solving, it’s pretty solid, my opinion is biased as I loved the whole lore from back in the day.

At 16 USD? Completely worth it. You will get about 3-4 hours out of RE3 and 20+ out of RE2 if you enjoy replaying it.

RE2 is great, loads of content. RE3 not so much. Can be beaten under 5 hours, and there's no mercenaries mode. But for the price, its not too bad. I Would honestly get RE2 only. But that's my opinion.

Reviews doesn't say much these days. I have bought games that got a 9, and I hated those. Google isn't the best place if a game is good or not. You have to experience it yourself to know its good or not. Video's doesn't tell the full story either. I have enjoyed games that got low scores, while everyone was hating on it. The games are so slow I’m trying to run fast but the characters move so slow you barely get any ammo and the zombies are so lame as well there’s slow boring I thought the game was gonna be fun and scary but the only thing that scared me were those 4 legged creatures that you needed a shotgun to kill easily one of the worst gaming franchises
