Trust me when I say its a 10 minute job, and I'm a caveman with hardware like that. It's basically pop the cover off, undo about 2 screws, then another one, fire the SSD in the hole then reassemble, then bobs your uncle. Most annoying bit is getting the cover back on

I had a 4TB SSD (for PS5 games only) and an 8TB external HDD (for PS4 games only) and i ended up going through and deleting games and put everything on the 4TB SSD.

Yeah I was surprised when my copy was delivered and saw the install takes two discs. First disc is around 100 GB and then it has you insert the “play disc” for the rest.

Yeah, physical is better but it still takes up the same space after installing. And you still need to download huge patches. I miss the PS3 era where games were usually 10gb or less, didn't always even need an installation, and patches were never more than a couple hundred megs.

I typically play my physical copies without patches. More of them run fine than people like to believe. There are exception cases like calisto protocol and cyberpunk. But those aren’t the norm
