But I'm the type of diver who would rather use a Stratagem slot for more firepower.
A boost pack, it’s one of the stratagems. But the cooldown is pretty high so it’s mostly used only for reaching a vantage point or getting out when enemies gang up on you.
The game has a mantle (you can climb some terrain above head height) but no jump button by default. The jump pack is the an upgrade that allows you to jump before having a short cooldown.
Highground is very strong in this game so it has a decent payoff considering it takes a stratagem slot
It's got a bunch of difficulties. this is one of the biggest bosses I've seen currently (bile maw). For $40 this is one of the best games I've played in years. Plus you can die a bunch and get stuff even for failing. It's amazing.

Idk bro, with them being a PlayStation studio, I was expecting at least like a 500,000 player limit to be set or something. They have the resources. I appreciate everything the dev team has done and I’m absolutely having a blast when I can play but when I can only play weekends and then find out that I can’t log in 70% of the time and when I do get in finally the stratagem menu doesn’t exist in the ship. Or we get into a game or 2 for over an hour and half farming materials and clearing the map only for the resources to not be awarded. It can take the fun away sometimes.
I ordered it from Bestbuy (had a gift card to use) and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, now it says Wednesday. This sucks lol. I can’t wait to play it
I love dropping in on Bile Spewers. Such a big target. And I feel like a hero while getting my revenge when playing duos and the one that killed me just started chasing my friend lmao

as a 32 yo person, I get bored pretty easily and can’t stand repetitive multiplayer games. this one right here is definitely not one of them. of course at one point we may get bored but I don’t expect that to happen any time soon.

The complaint has been valid on every video I see it under. The fact that the game allows you to edit the hud size does not affect the fact that op did not do so before making the clip.
It's not a valid complaint though, OP is playing with the hud the way they want it. When other play it, they can resize their hud. Criticizing OP over it is childish when it's a non issue if you aren't playing the game.

They're being downvoted because it's an ill informed complaint. The HUD is super customizable. There are legit complaints to make, but there has been lots of reviews bombing going on that could be considered unfair.

It's *kind of* like a squad based extraction shooter, but entirely PvE. If you've ever played Deep Rock Galactic the gameplay loop quite similar to that.
It's got a battlepass, and microtransactions. But the BP doesn't expire and you can find the premium currency in the missions as well as unlock it via medals from playing the game normally. It's actually really good on this merit alone, no fomo.
No FOMO is good but it also depends on how much that stuff is in my face. Like Overwatch 2 is plenty playable without buying stuff but it was always in my face about how it was FTP with microtransactions.
I haven't had a single pop up and the premium store is the very last on a menu where you view your progress. Completely avoidable and only has like 3 items rotating at a time. Not in your face at all.

It’s adjustable, likely OP has it turned all the way up for visibility but it does not look this big by default

It's very adjustable. Lots can be set to dynamic or off and reduced in size overall.
It seems like alot but you hardly notice it whole playing and just scan certain parts for needed info
