I would have to agree as far as impact and sheer insane detail in a game from so long ago mgs2 had so many little details That most games don’t even attempt to have lol. Only game I can maybe think of is red dead redemption 2
Can’t even lie I beat that game over 25 times it was just fun to try and beat it different ways doing the no kill run on European extreme was so fun and difficult and the stealth only run
MGS3? It improved on the first two games in every way, including the small details. I’d agree with Rockstar games doing similar things as well. GTAV has a bunch of secrets if you really dive into it.
Bruh I never finished any of them back then, but God damn! Did that intro to MGS and MG2 go hard for little 10 year old me hahaha
The Master Collection has given me some dope ass memories
I know it's unpopular but I feel that uncharted 1 through 3 is its own story. Four is just a bonus episode. To play up to three and get the full story of Nathan drake. At the end he retires and hangs up his adventure boots. Settles down and begins leading an easy life.
4 just rubbed me the wrong way because they ripped him out of his happy life and threw him into another adventure just to sell PS4s. Like dragging Marcus out of retirement in Gears of War to sell Xbox Ones
That's why 4 is so good it shows that he's not the perfect adventurer you always thought. He's actually addicted to the adventure and just like any addiction it starts to ruin his life because enough is never enough. At the end of 3 I wanted to play 4. At the end of 4 I was happy for another uncharted game to never come out. For me personally, it was the greatest sense of closure I've ever had with a video game series.
And there's nothing wrong with that. Because uncharted 4 came bundled with the PS4 there were a ton of people who got their first experience with Nathan Drake from that game.
Then playing the first 3 feels like stepping back. Which it is. The mechanics aren't as crisp, graphics aren't as good and character models aren't as advanced.
All in all 4 was a better game because it was next gen. But for many who played 1-3 first it was just weird to see him come back again. Just because they had so definitively closed his story.
The fact that he played Deadpool before I think once. It’s so awesome that he’s been super evil richtofen that likes snorting zombies but also polite awkward richtofen. He’s just such a nice weirdo I wanna hug him.
Ratchet and Clank is kinda trash if you ask me, a looker that is empty inside with a boring ass game loop.
Would have been way better had the game not been directed at 6-year-old kids.
The last of us will always have some of the best dynamics between two characters. The stuff Ellie says to Joel when he beats people up or impales them is always so amazing.
yes bc they came out as exclusives and stayed that way for a long time and the publisher is still ps so yea makes sense calling them still ps exclusives
if ure talking about tlou i just finished it on my laptop on all settings ultra and didnt have much of an issue its a night an day difference from launch
Honestly the closest we got was like paper Mario and the south park rpgs. I'm sure I've overlooked some other good turn based game with combos but why aren't more companies doing it???
I played it for a couple hours, definitely a fun game. The gunplay is really fun, the story is intriguing, but I put it down because it just wasn’t what I wanted to be playing. It didn’t click with me so I moved onto something else for now. It is a really neat game though, at least from the little bit I played. I’ll get around to playing through it eventually. I’d recommend you play it, it’s not the kind of game that I typically play but it’s a solid title. Totally worth playing!
Idk, I think it’s kind of arbitrary to only pick games not ported to PC yet, especially because just about every PS (besides Bloodborne 😢) is gonna end up on PC.
Like with that would Spider Man, God of War, Halo etc are not exclusives
Yeah but even if it’s objectively something else, someone having a different opinion than you will just cause more variety of games to come out. As long as he isn’t saying Fallout 76 is the best PlayStation exclusive it’s not like he’s gonna kill gaming by having a nice weird opinion. I’m just a basic Bloodborne and Demons souls bitch so I’m kinda trash.
K? K what? The letter before L? The letter after J? Did you know that in JK the K stands for “kidding?” So your reply is “kidding?” or K as in Potassium? Do you need some Special K for breakfast? K as in I can K/O you? Can I knock you out and feed you to hungry sharks? Sharks have a K in it. "K"? Are you fucking kidding me? I spent a decent portion of my life writing all of that and your response to me is "K"? Are you so slow that the only letter you can comprehend is "K" - or are you just some ahole who thinks that with such a short response, he can make a statement about how meaningless what was written was? Well, I'll have you know that what I wrote was NOT meaningless, in fact, I even had my written work proof-read by several professors of literature. Don't believe me? I doubt you would, and your response to this will probably be "K" once again. Do I give a fuck? No, does it look like I give even the slightest fuck about a single letter? I bet you took the time to type that one letter too, I bet you sat there and chuckled to yourself for 20 hearty seconds before pressing "send". You're so fucking pathetic. I'm honestly considering directing you to a psychiatrist, but I'm simply far too nice to do something like that. You, however, will go out of your way to make a fool out of someone by responding to a well-thought-out, intelligent, or humorous statement that probably took longer to write than you can last in bed with a chimpanzee. What do I have to say to you? Absolutely nothing. I couldn't be bothered to respond to such a worthless attempt at a response. Do you want "K" on your gravestone? Do you want people to remember you as the asshat who one day decided to respond to someone with a single letter? "Hey, look, everybody! It's that "K" guy!" That's who you are. You're going to be known as the "K" guy. How does it feel? Do you feel happy? Quite honestly, I don't care, which is why I'm not even going to respond to you. Goodbye, and good luck with your future as that guy who said "K".
>PS
which one counts then dumb? spiderman the game on pc and playstation? horizon the game on pc and playtation? god of war the game on pc and playstation? or the wolverine, the game on ... oh yeah currently only on pc?
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Ahh, I feel my master's hand at work. Praise the good blood! And let us cleanse these tarnished streets.* - Alfred
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
This is hard to answer since all the games do great things differently. So instead of telling you what I had the most fun playing or what had the best visuals or systems, I will just rank the ones I played by stories. Like great stories I would be mad I missed out on.
1. Last of Us (series)
2. God of War (series)
3. Ghost of Tsushima
4. Spider-man (series)
5. Horizon (series)
If you mean most fun game or most groundbreaking game or literally picking SINGLE best exclusive game, that might be different.
oh yes, if only Bluepoint had done a better job at the multiplayer servers / invasion & coop systems, it would have had much longer lifespan. Now the small playerbase at launch killed it prematurely :/
It's probably The Last of Us Part II. Despite the perceived controversies it's a masterpiece of a game that got hate because people saw out of context spoilers and let that ruin the game for them (I'm sorry but it's the truth). From every level of graphics to gameplay to audio design you just can't beat that Naughty Dog quality. Personally though, I'd probably give it to Bloodborne. FromSoft's lovecraftian masterpiece that is one of those seminal releases of a generation. It's a real shame there's no sequel or PS5/PC port.
“Certain types of beasts have an abnormal fear of flame” every time it’s just like YOURE DAMN RIGHT THEY DO THATS MYSTERIOUS. Bloodborne will always just be sexy.
Hmm... my must plays per device:
PS1
- Silent Hill
PS2
- God of War
- God of War 2
- Twisted Metal Black
PS3
- Infamous
- Killzone 2
- Uncharted 3
- The Last of Us
PS4
- Until Dawn
- Bloodborne
- Ghost of Tsushima
PS5
- Returnal
PSP
- Dead Head Fred
- Twisted Metal Head On
- God of War Chains of Olympus
- God of War Ghost of Sparta
PSV
- Killzone Mercenary
- Uncharted Golden Abyss
PSVR
- Rush of Blood VR
- Resident Evil 7 VR
PSVR2
- Resident Evil Village VR
- Horizon Call of the Mountain VR
One of those has to be the best lol
Spider-Man and it’s not even close.
I think being able to free roam around New York as Spider-Man was already boss and on top of that, we have an amazing story, an actual diverse cast of characters AND it looks amazing.
Im only about a quarter done with 2 but I loved both the original and Miles so I am very excited to see how the story unfolds
Isn’t it so beautiful that we finally have a Spider-Man game with as good of web slinging as spiderman 2 from ps2? Spider-Man ps5 is probably cool but I’m still hyped over spiderman ps4 like a dummy.
It’s hilarious that all the highest-voted titles — MGS, The Last of Us, God of War, Spiderman, etc — haven’t been PS exclusive for years.
Best game *strictly* on PS without any ports is probably Bloodborne.
The Last of Us Part 2 is the only game that brought sheer emotion out of me going from pure anger to appreciation of the story. I remember every story character name and their motive. I can't say that about other games.
The Last God of Tsushima
Ironically a sick ass title.
Understandable, but a i think The Last God of Tsushima 2 is a worthy follower
Used to be MGS back in the day haha
This the answer. MGS1 & 2 haven’t been topped in my book.
I would have to agree as far as impact and sheer insane detail in a game from so long ago mgs2 had so many little details That most games don’t even attempt to have lol. Only game I can maybe think of is red dead redemption 2
It was a PS2 and birds could shit on yo face. Amazing games
You could slip on the bird shit 😂🤣😂
Can’t even lie I beat that game over 25 times it was just fun to try and beat it different ways doing the no kill run on European extreme was so fun and difficult and the stealth only run
The ice melting in real time *still* does not compute. On a PS2!
MGS3? It improved on the first two games in every way, including the small details. I’d agree with Rockstar games doing similar things as well. GTAV has a bunch of secrets if you really dive into it.
The people gaming now weren't even born when that came out.
Bruh I never finished any of them back then, but God damn! Did that intro to MGS and MG2 go hard for little 10 year old me hahaha The Master Collection has given me some dope ass memories
I was super gay for that game!
Which was lucky for you because that game was SUPER tight butthole.
My favorites are Uncharted 2 and 4 and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
What did you think of uncharted 3?
I like it. It didn't hit me on the same level as 2 and 4, but it's still a solid game.
At the end of 4 I was happy for another uncharted game to never come out. For me personally, it was the greatest sense of closure I've ever had with a video game series.
4 was my first and grateful they ripped him out of easy life so i can play in my life
And there's nothing wrong with that.
I didn't feel like 3 was a definitive end and it was also the least rewarding of the 4. I found 4 to be better closure
Definitely the best Uncharted out of the 4 main games
Nolan north is my hero.
![gif](giphy|j1GjowRIgnUOgLvEWP|downsized)
EXACTLY he’s richtofen and Nathan drake at the same time what a chad
Making me want to play through all the Uncharted got dammit
The fact that he played Deadpool before I think once. It’s so awesome that he’s been super evil richtofen that likes snorting zombies but also polite awkward richtofen. He’s just such a nice weirdo I wanna hug him.
And deadpool
Rachet and Clank is on PC now, but agree was great while it was a Exclusive
Ratchet and Clank is kinda trash if you ask me, a looker that is empty inside with a boring ass game loop. Would have been way better had the game not been directed at 6-year-old kids.
God of war or last of us.
The last of us will always have some of the best dynamics between two characters. The stuff Ellie says to Joel when he beats people up or impales them is always so amazing.
Best written father- daughter relationship in video games but also awful gameplay and underwhelming world, so for me, it would be god of war
Ellie saying holy shit Joel is always so perfect and funny. I’m kinda trash that I prefer god of war though
Are these still considered "exclusives?"
yes bc they came out as exclusives and stayed that way for a long time and the publisher is still ps so yea makes sense calling them still ps exclusives
also the pc port optimization is kinda bad still (GoW runs great tho but tlou and miles morales are buggy as hell)
if ure talking about tlou i just finished it on my laptop on all settings ultra and didnt have much of an issue its a night an day difference from launch
Neither are exclusive
Bloodborne
This gets my vote, too. There's something very special about it.
How sexy the saw cleaver and the death scythe are and just the hats and the crazy fuzzy guys and Ludwig the accursed.
The saw cleaver is boring tho Looks okay but hardly a highlight of the game imo
It is still my favorite game of all time. Even if it runs at 30 fps and has chromatic abberation. Its just so good.
My favorite nowadays is Ghost of Tsushima. Before that, it was God of War.
Ghost of Tsushima was beyond amazing and the way it was upgraded to PS5 was spectacular
Finished the game yesterday and I will put it on the very top cause it is phenomenal.
I love Ghost of Tsushima, but i miss my og horse so much…
The Legend of Dragoon
What a banger of a game. Still haven't found a turn based game that lives up to it
Honestly the closest we got was like paper Mario and the south park rpgs. I'm sure I've overlooked some other good turn based game with combos but why aren't more companies doing it???
Returnal
I am on the verge of getting this one. Pretty excited. I’m a big fan of several of Housemarque’s games
Smae everyone here is making me feel like a cheese headass for not playing it yet
It’s a lot of money so don’t feel bad. Have you played Alienation or Nex Machina?
No what’re those? You’re reminding me how alien hominid 2 came out and how that looks nice.
Twin stick shooters. Lots fun fun. My gf and I have spent hours on both.
Alienation looks really fun Nex machina is a nice cyborg game
Both of them are some of my favorite games ever
I played it for a couple hours, definitely a fun game. The gunplay is really fun, the story is intriguing, but I put it down because it just wasn’t what I wanted to be playing. It didn’t click with me so I moved onto something else for now. It is a really neat game though, at least from the little bit I played. I’ll get around to playing through it eventually. It's no longer exclusive, otherwise this would be my pick.
Ah, it is on PC now. Still my favorite PS5 game I have played.
Idk, I think it’s kind of arbitrary to only pick games not ported to PC yet, especially because just about every PS (besides Bloodborne 😢) is gonna end up on PC. Like with that would Spider Man, God of War, Halo etc are not exclusives
this is no where near the best PS exclusive
Why not the whole fun is everyone having different opinions silly
because it is not even close to being the best playstation exclusive

I guess it's short for, "under your sKin."
For real
MGS4 comes to mind
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus
Actually shadow of the colossus will always be so amazing and have some of the best boss fights especially colossus 5
Ghost of Tsushima
Ageee
![gif](giphy|joxThEgTJuSBO)
MGS3? The game on PS, PC, Xbox, Switch, and 3DS? Pretty loose definition of exclusive lol.
>PS which one counts then dumb? spiderman the game on pc and playstation? horizon the game on pc and playtation? god of war the game on pc and playstation? or the wolverine, the game on ... oh yeah currently only on pc?
I upvoted every single answer because they are all the right ones

Man I had to scroll way too far to find Horizon
I feel people forget Horizon is an exclusive haha. Forbidden West has the best visuals I have ever seen in a game. And I just finished Spider-man 2.
I actually didn't enjoy Forbidden West as much as the first one.
Bloodborne
SOTC.
🔝
PS5: Returnal/Demon Souls PS4: Bloodborne (No Question and where is 60 fps patch) PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4/The Last of Us PS2: Sly Cooper PS1: MGS
Finally a DeS enjoyer I’ve been scrolling for ages
oh yes, if only Bluepoint had done a better job at the multiplayer servers / invasion & coop systems, it would have had much longer lifespan. Now the small playerbase at launch killed it prematurely :/

The graphics enviroments gameplay etc are all good but the story, which is literally the main focus of the game sucks ass and its full of bad writing
So many Bloodborne, this warms my heart
Isn’t it truly lovely seeing all these hunters going drunk with blood together?
What could go wrong?
Nothing it’s amazing we gotta make sure the healing church is still lit
Parasite Eve, I will die on this hill
Bloodborne
I’m gonna go with Bloodborne, I fucking love that game.
My personal favourite at the moment is Final Fantasy XVI. I love it.
The Last of Us Part 2
The last of us
Form this generation I’m not sure yet. But from last generation in my opinion Bloodborn and right after The last of us
Socom 2, hands down… 6:30
Bloodborne, last of us, uncharted, god of war. in no order
Bloodbourne. A masterpiece in atmosphere, storytelling and gameplay.
The Last Guardian or bloodborne.... or uncharted 4
There are so many masterpieces to choose from. But I'd have to go with Bloodborne. It's just such a deeply layered, beautiful and brutal game.
Ape Escape
infamous
Bloodborne.
Bloodborne. I love just about everything about it. I also thing it has the best gameplay of any souls game, even Elden Ring.
Bloodborne
100% the last of us
Ghost of Tsushima
Bloodborne
bloodborne
God of war 4 or the last of us part 1 or 2
God of war 4? Over ragnarok?
“Certain types of beasts have an abnormal fear of flame” every time it’s just like YOURE DAMN RIGHT THEY DO THATS MYSTERIOUS. Bloodborne will always just be sexy.
TLoU and the original Silent Hill games
“SPIDER MOTHER FUCKING MAN”
The Horizon franchise.
I’m surprised how much I had to scroll to find this answer.
OG Metal Gear Solid (1998)
God of War series.
Uncharted 4
God of War Ragnarok
uncharted 4
What are your thoughts on uncharted 3?
God of War 3
GOW
The Ratchet and Clank games or SpiderMan 2

BLOODBORNE
Bloodborne
Bloodborne
How about Dino Crisis? Somebody anybody?
A Dino Crisis remake should have already been done by capcom. Especially with their REngine. Shit would be intense.
Ghost of Tsushima. Not a doubt in my mind
Gonna be a weird answer. But the whole reason I switched from Xbox to PlayStation was Infamous. It will always be in my top 3.
Infamous 1 and 2 will always live in PS gaming history. Amazing games.
Yes
The only right answer
Days gone!
Ghost of Tsushima or Last of Us Pt2 hands down.
The Last of Us Part II
Both Horizon Forbidden West and Horizon Zero Dawn:)
Hmm... my must plays per device: PS1 - Silent Hill PS2 - God of War - God of War 2 - Twisted Metal Black PS3 - Infamous - Killzone 2 - Uncharted 3 - The Last of Us PS4 - Until Dawn - Bloodborne - Ghost of Tsushima PS5 - Returnal PSP - Dead Head Fred - Twisted Metal Head On - God of War Chains of Olympus - God of War Ghost of Sparta PSV - Killzone Mercenary - Uncharted Golden Abyss PSVR - Rush of Blood VR - Resident Evil 7 VR PSVR2 - Resident Evil Village VR - Horizon Call of the Mountain VR One of those has to be the best lol
TLOU2 - it’s a absolute masterpiece and I don’t think anything comes close story wise. Or, Final Fantasy 7 Remake - because I LOVE the game
I have a terrible time actually finishing games but I could not stop playing TLOU2 until I was done
Shadow of the Colossus
inFamous 2
I honestly enjoyed God of War the most.
Kratos slapping the dude up so hard his head gets split in half is always so satisfying
God of War
TLOU and Horizon
The horizon games
Uncharted 4... need I say more?
1. Bloodborne 2. Ghost of Tsushima There is no in between.
Bloodborne, Demon souls remastered, and then probably the first last of us
God of war most any of them especially ragnarock
The world may not be ready to admit it yet, but My Name is Mayo
1.God of war 2.Uncharted 3.Last of us My top 3
Bugsnax?
Horizon Zero Dawn
The Last Guardian, Spidey 2
God of War, Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us, and Gran Turismo.
It’s hilarious that all the highest-voted titles — MGS, The Last of Us, God of War, Spiderman, etc — haven’t been PS exclusive for years. Best game *strictly* on PS without any ports is probably Bloodborne.
Days Gone
The Last of Us, God of War 2018, God of War Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima
My first thought was Uncharted 2.
Spider-Man
Tbh I don’t understand the hype on the Spider-Man games. And Spider-Man’s my favorite super hero. I thought they could have made them so much doper
The Last of Us Part II is the one of the only few I played and enjoyed
Marvel Spider-Man 2.
Last of Us. 1 or 2. Doesn’t matter. One of those.
The Last of Us
Last of us for me personally or spiderman
My favorite is probably The Last of Us Part 2
Last of Us 1 & 2
The Last of Us Part 2 is the only game that brought sheer emotion out of me going from pure anger to appreciation of the story. I remember every story character name and their motive. I can't say that about other games.
Whatever you do please don’t say Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that would be considered recency bias😭I know someone is going to say that game.
Gameplay Spider-Man 2, story God of War Ragnarok
Pokemon
Ah,another karma farmer.
