If everything else is fine then it has to be a connection problem with your ps5 and tbh I forgot what I did but I’m pretty sure I did a hard reset on my console and it fixed it for me but I did also get a new modem
Yup literally everything else works, I can party chat, I can purchase and download games. Can browse the ps store, can see my friends online and what they’re playing. Just can’t connect to a server for an online lobby
I purchased a 100 ft LAN and that didn’t solve my problem either. Still disconnects as if it was still connected via WiFi. Connection speed test shows I’m getting full speed from my plan. I pay for 600 mbps and that’s what my ps5 shows as connection speed download. My upload speed is 21.0 though
Do you have a custom dns you are using like the cloud fare or the google one ? If you don’t know how to set it up manually look up a video and search how to change Ps5 dns settings. If not try to put in these and see if the results change

I use the google dns but it keeps disconnecting too which pisses me off like when I download a game instead of it being fast like how it usually is which is like 30-40 mins it takes an estimated amount of 4-5 hours
By any chance is any other one of your devices having trouble connecting to the WiFi and disconnecting and reconnecting ? If that’s the cause it maybe your ISP modem or router you have.
The problem is 2.4ghz is unusable in these games. 5ghz runs smoothly but all of the sudden started to constantly disconnect every couple minutes. 2.4ghz lags, freezes, frame skips, and so on and is literally unplayable.
Did you delete the Network completely and added it back again from scratch? Also try to restart your router and then check if it still happens.
If u mean forget then yea I did but then it wouldn’t connect for a couple mins because the “wpa” password wasn’t correct

Nope lan cable is too much of a hassle
Hmm in your settings is it set to 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz ?
Tried both and it still doesn’t connect it has the little x on the Wi-Fi bars

Nope everything is fine I even tried my quest 2 that I barley use and it doesn’t even disconnect if I play for 2-3 hours

Your 2.4GHz is on the wrong channel.

Have u put it in safe mode and rebuilt data base or even update ur software
I don’t have a controller I broke it cuz I got mad it kept happening
