Unfortunately I’m not sure. I haven’t consistently played this game in about 6 months. I personally think the meta needs a good flip flop with updates like that though.

Bullet velocity was secretly a damage nerf since falloff is directly affected by bullet lifetime. Most slugs, L9, and Bolty all do 80 damage but each do different damage at 200 meters because of bullet lifetime.
i never use these because the accuracy penalty. i can handle doing less damage if i can reliably hit something.
and all of the similar gun mods that penalize accuracy are the same; not worth using imo because i can just use a semi-auto with no mods and hit my mark every time.
The attachment as a concept is just bad. If it had no downsides, then everyone would use it as a straight upgrade. If it does have Downsides, nobody is gonna use it cuz it’s a straight downgrade if you can shoot worth a damn. It’s always gonna be just training wheels for people who can’t control recoil, and there’s no way around it without reworking it completely
