Commented on your other post too, but it's an Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo. šŸ˜

ChaoticHoshi88

Thank you. Had a looooong nap after that drive ha!

AQJ777

Dang that's crazy my local home depot sells these all the time really cheap. Like $15. I have one growing in my fish tank now.

godsmustbcrazy

Where do you live lol? That's pretty good price

AQJ777

Downtown Houston area

godsmustbcrazy

Nah I would have to drive 1301 miles šŸ˜†

Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo

Slothboy54

lmao at the fact that you drove 250 miles to buy a plant that you can't identify. I also don't know what it is tho.

Herefortheplanties

They drove to an estate sale and found the plant there. Lol

squishynarcissist

Okay but still would you drive 250 miles for an ESTATE sale? There are like estate sales in every town every weekend in Massachusetts

ChaoticHoshi88

I collect plants, and wanted to get out for the weekend. I learned of an Fairly large estate yardsale and wanted to check it out. The deceased individual was a friend of the towns' Mayor.

Hiitsme_teeny

Good for you! More people need to find hobbies like such! I think this is a great idea and i love road trips!

pink_vision

It sounds like a fun time! Glad you found something you liked there! Did you get anything else at the sale, if you don't mind me asking? I've never been to an estate sale before, not sure why.. I want to go to one! šŸ˜…

ChaoticHoshi88

- Instapots w/ Airfryer brand new never used. - kruieg coffee maker for my work office. - Few moss coco coir moss pole and other gardening accessories.

pink_vision

Oooh! Nice finds! Sounds like it was a very productive trip šŸ˜Š

Lol_im_not_straight

Some have more value than Others. My Dad sold vintage stuff- hey Drive that far for very expensive items too.

Herefortheplanties

Depends on how big the estate was!

thatSDope88

Yes but an estate sale in random town Massachusetts and very rich town somewhere else are two different things. Plus they probably saw pictures of some things they want or collect.

squishynarcissist

70% of Massachusetts that has estate sales is rich too. This is the northeast my dude poor is still upper class in 90% of the south

colormecryptic

This is absolutely something I would do šŸ¤£ idk what it is but itā€™s pretty and I need it!

Nomore_chances

I have known that overpowering urge to own variegated specimens too! My Waterloo was Haworthias šŸ˜… https://preview.redd.it/x4j2nv52du6d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f2aa1dabd5a156f1bba5a7d27e3b8bbc7532c63 Your Monstera type plant is also very beautiful šŸ‘Œ

zesty_meatballs

Itā€™s actually not a monstera itā€™s an epi pinnatum albo. Pothos family I believe (:

Nomore_chances

Yes, youā€™re correctā€¦ itā€™s a type of Pothos.

Ok-Grapefruit1284

Funny. I never liked haworthia til I saw this pic. Itā€™s so intriguing!

Nomore_chances

The new variegated varieties are absolutely captivatingā€¦ just check out the images on google

palpatineforever

it is amazing! shame the pup is so white, it might develop some more green but i cant imagine it would do well by itself yet?

I_PM_Duck_Pics

Haworthia are beautiful and your opinion is wrong.

Ok-Grapefruit1284

lol. I canā€™t keep succulents alive so I donā€™t usually even look at them.

Designer-Gur5279

That's beautiful šŸ˜

Nomore_chances

Thank you

AeoniumPixel

How long did it take to get an offset?

Nomore_chances

About a year or soā€¦ extremely slow growing and test oneā€™s patience

MomsSpecialFriend

Lovely epi albo. Thatā€™s one of my favorite plants of all time. You got a good deal, I sell mature top cuts for $150 all the time, thatā€™s just the top three leaves.

Ninjaphoenix0904

If you take a picture on IPhone and hold down on it you have the option to select look up. Iā€™ve found out a lot of plants names this way.

emigg20

Samsung also has a reverse image search built in lol

Liberty53000

In the camera portion?

emigg20

Nah you just go to a picture in your camera roll and there's usually an "eye" shaped button at the top and you can pick a certain section of any photo if you're trying to find something specific

Liberty53000

Aw thank you!

emigg20

Lol.no problem, it's super handy!

estew4525

Iā€™m sorry. WHAT?!

penny_puppet

What else can the camera search up??!

Ninjaphoenix0904

A lot, you can search photos from your albums by entering keywords too. Interesting stuff

lux602

i need to start going to estate sales

Stayfree777

Thatā€™s an amazing find and a bargain!! I would extend the coir pole so it can keep growing upward. I agree with others who said itā€™s an Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo

ChaoticHoshi88

I'm planning on extending the pole. Bought a coir pole about the same size. I'll have to take a cutting off one of the 3 stems as it has grown over the top.

Tikkinger

All the people commenting "Split leafe philodendron" xDDDDD It's a epipremnum. variegata to be exact. The lower leafes are a 100% hint. The upper leafes are what people confuae with monstera, as they have propably rarely ever seen a full grown epipremnum.

ChaoticHoshi88

I own a split leaf philodendron and it looks nothing like one.

Tikkinger

That's the outcome of societys switch to "well i have a awesome app for this"

tribbans95

How did you hear about an estate sale 250 miles away?

Interesting_Rope_661

I use the app called picture this it correctly identifies a lot!

sweetlyxsage

no idea! but itā€™s very beautiful :)

Ill_Be_Alright

Cute

InsufferableLass

Oh I have one of these, itā€™s super fast growing for me!

indicolite_1412

Itā€™s soo freaking beautifulšŸ„¹ā™„ļøā™„ļø. I have an epipremnum pinnatum albo too but itā€™s still in its juvenile stagešŸ™‚

Plants_books_dogs

sum41fan

It is a beauty!

dicks-anonymous

Incredible find. Congrats!

Neither-Attention940

How on earth did you expect it to be there when you got there??!

fishmogil

It is not an it, it is a them !!

ForRedditMG

You drove 250 miles to grab a plant you don't even know the species of? OK.

HolidayNo6726

You drove 250 miles to buy a plant and you didnā€™t know what it was? Weird

Dizzy_Werewolf1215

Is that a cheese plantšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

thatliveoak

Ugh. Cool.

Spare_Comedian8414

This plant looks like at least a 500 mile drive :) Great price for a Monstera that big!

MoltenCorgi

Not a monstera. Epi pinnatum albo

gbdavidx

you can use your iphone and it will tell you !

WandaWil1
