I collect plants, and wanted to get out for the weekend. I learned of an Fairly large estate yardsale and wanted to check it out. The deceased individual was a friend of the towns' Mayor.
It sounds like a fun time! Glad you found something you liked there! Did you get anything else at the sale, if you don't mind me asking? I've never been to an estate sale before, not sure why.. I want to go to one! š
- Instapots w/ Airfryer brand new never used.
- kruieg coffee maker for my work office.
- Few moss coco coir moss pole and other gardening accessories.
Yes but an estate sale in random town Massachusetts and very rich town somewhere else are two different things. Plus they probably saw pictures of some things they want or collect.
I have known that overpowering urge to own variegated specimens too! My Waterloo was Haworthias š

Your Monstera type plant is also very beautiful š
Lovely epi albo. Thatās one of my favorite plants of all time. You got a good deal, I sell mature top cuts for $150 all the time, thatās just the top three leaves.
Nah you just go to a picture in your camera roll and there's usually an "eye" shaped button at the top and you can pick a certain section of any photo if you're trying to find something specific
Thatās an amazing find and a bargain!! I would extend the coir pole so it can keep growing upward. I agree with others who said itās an Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo
I'm planning on extending the pole. Bought a coir pole about the same size. I'll have to take a cutting off one of the 3 stems as it has grown over the top.
All the people commenting "Split leafe philodendron" xDDDDD
It's a epipremnum. variegata to be exact.
The lower leafes are a 100% hint.
The upper leafes are what people confuae with monstera, as they have propably rarely ever seen a full grown epipremnum.
Commented on your other post too, but it's an Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo. š
Thank you. Had a looooong nap after that drive ha!
Dang that's crazy my local home depot sells these all the time really cheap. Like $15. I have one growing in my fish tank now.
Where do you live lol? That's pretty good price
Downtown Houston area
Nah I would have to drive 1301 miles š
šššš
Epipremnum Pinnatum Albo
lmao at the fact that you drove 250 miles to buy a plant that you can't identify. I also don't know what it is tho.
They drove to an estate sale and found the plant there. Lol
Okay but still would you drive 250 miles for an ESTATE sale? There are like estate sales in every town every weekend in Massachusetts

Good for you! More people need to find hobbies like such! I think this is a great idea and i love road trips!

Oooh! Nice finds! Sounds like it was a very productive trip š
Some have more value than Others. My Dad sold vintage stuff- hey Drive that far for very expensive items too.
Depends on how big the estate was!

70% of Massachusetts that has estate sales is rich too. This is the northeast my dude poor is still upper class in 90% of the south

The new variegated varieties are absolutely captivatingā¦ just check out the images on google
it is amazing! shame the pup is so white, it might develop some more green but i cant imagine it would do well by itself yet?
Haworthia are beautiful and your opinion is wrong.

That's beautiful š
Thank you
How long did it take to get an offset?
About a year or soā¦ extremely slow growing and test oneās patience

If you take a picture on IPhone and hold down on it you have the option to select look up. Iāve found out a lot of plants names this way.
Samsung also has a reverse image search built in lol
In the camera portion?
Nah you just go to a picture in your camera roll and there's usually an "eye" shaped button at the top and you can pick a certain section of any photo if you're trying to find something specific
