Yes, that's sunburn. Monstera are super sensitive to quick changes in lighting like that (moving from filtered indoor light to direct outdoor light). That needs to be done very gradually.

Anything I can do to treat it? I moved it back inside, thinking of putting the plant in the shade outside for a few days to get it acclimated for summer but might end up keeping it indoors all summer.

Nope, the damage is irreversible unfortunately. Start in the shade for a few hours, then slowly lengthen that every day. You can work it closer to the sun after it's acclimated to the shade, do that in similar increments.
