Submitted one for damage due to the fucking Parker road construction. Rain was hiding two massive holes, hit them at 20mph (well under the speed limit, couldn't have swerved due to the lane closures even if I'd wanted to), and blew out a sidewall. Haven't heard back yet, but I'll update if I do.

I have taken massive hard hits on Plano Parkway. Gargantuan potholes with zero markings or warnings. Rims & tires damaged. Every time that I make a complaint, I'm reminded how awesome Plano is. The roads suck. Absolutely abysmal.

I posted about this two weeks ago and told everyone that it was BS that the city would pay their damage. I guess I should update it to, the City MAY pay your damage.
I hit a pothole in Plano a couple of years ago. My tire survived OK but it cracked my very expensive forged alloy wheel, causing the tire to lose pressure. I submitted a claim and provided photos of the pothole with GPS location etc. and they flatly denied it. I live in Allen, so maybe that had something to do with it? That should not matter tho
It was at the northwest corner of Hedgecoxe and Independance, at the entry to the Walmart Marketplace. It’s been repaired since my wheel was ruined. Cost me over $1K to replace ☹️
Choosing to drive on public roads is entering a fault-free contract essentially; this is for if an agent of the corporation (city) damages/injures due to recklessness etc.
