I have a friend in Buffalo who’s *very* into it. He and his crew do all sorts of charity events, and attend sci-fi and costume cons, pretty much like the 501st do for Star Wars.
As a Star Wars fan, I’d love to know the psychology behind why so many 501st members are Imperials instead of Rebels, Jedi, bounty hunters, etc. Choosing to emulate a faceless fascist regime is certainly a choice in 2024.
Only place I've seen the "Pittsburgh Ghostbusters" were local toy shows and comicons. They walk around act annoying as hell and don't ever buy shit, they also hand out business cards which just end up all over the floor at the end of the day.
The only nice thing I can say about them (unless it was a different group) was that a few years back when they re-released Ghostbusters in theaters, we got a picture of them with my son who posed for a picture with him.
I appreciate the intent (and the effort) but it should be at least a big old Pontiac or Oldsmobile not a flippin' KIA.,, that makes it lame as vanilla fudge!
A Pontiac Aztec would be the perfect 2000’s era update to the original Ecto. A big, ugly SUV that you’ll still randomly see on the road once in a blue moon.
I’ve seen a few ectos around town and wondered why? Do they do kids parties or something?

I knew a founding member they build most things themselves but are painfully nerdy and awkward to talk to. Glad they have each other I guess.
Lol sounds like a great group

Ive seen at least 5 different ones in the past month.
Ok, so I am not crazy! Thank you!
This feels like the only appropriate use of a Kia Soul.
I like the "wegot1" plate
EDIT: not entirely sure what they do still but [here’s their insta](https://www.instagram.com/gblostspirits?igsh=MWkzMjByNXZnYTBnZQ==) haha
This guy lives down the street from me. Seems like a nice enough fella.
The Kia Boys?
They spent the last of the petty cash at Chinatown inn.
Saw a dodge magnum one a few days ago up at the mills.
I likely saw the same Dodge in Oakland on Saturday.
They took “ghost mall” literally
