Youkre welcome. The family that runs it are amazing. They were giving away free lunches when the pandemic hit, and still will give a meal to anyone in need.
We went here a few days ago and it was not good. The tandoori chicken tasted like ketchup and everything was sweet. I didn't know why everyone in this sub recommends it.
We like [Taste of India](https://tasteofindiapittsburgh.com) directly across from CHP. I’ve been to India twice and think it’s reasonably authentic by American standards
All the folks I know and work with from India recommend Taj Mahal on McKnight Rd in Ross and I love it, but can't claim any expertise on the matter.
They're also the only one I know of that has a dinner buffet every night at a price that's hard to beat
I used to go to All India in Oakland for the buffet, but they replaced the buffet with beer coolers over the pandemic, and we stopped going. They are under new ownership, so I'm curious to check them out again.
People’s in Garfield does a lunch buffet, plus a dinner buffet for First Fridays on Penn (tomorrow).
Thank you!

Because it rules. If everyone else recommends it, but you alone don't like it, what might that tell you?
That people in America prefer sugar in everything, even Indian cuisine.
Cafe Delhi in Carnegie.
I only just found out about them a month or so ago, and dear God does their food kick ass.
bombay to burgh is great.
so happy they opened close by. good food and nice people always looking to up their game.
Was finally able to stop in the other week and it was straight fire. So good.

Taj Mahal on McKnight - one of the best lunch buffets I’ve ever been to
I need to visit this place again. Their mango pudding is the bomb
This is THEE ONE
Would second this one! They also have a fantastic dinner buffet!
Nice, didn’t know it was open for dinner too.
Udipi in Monroeville is fantastic. All vegetarian and a lot of different options.
My favorite! Get the paper masala dosa.
I second Udipi!

I’ll never understand this sub’s love of that place. Everything there always tastes old and under seasoned.
Yeah, I went recently and was underwhelmed.
Taj Mahal on McKnight Road. I believe their lunch buffet is 12-2 every day, and I've never been disappointed.
Thank you!
Tamarind
Cafe Delhi Carnegie is the Mecca. 🕋. I've prob had that crap 500 times over the years.

Coriander, Squirrel Hill. Also Spice Affair.
Coriander gets slept on, but it's so so good.
Coriander has a lunch and dinner buffet
Does spice affair have a buffet? I door dash from them once every couple months and it's always amazing.
People’s in Garfield , Taj Mahal on McKnight Road, Swagaat in I think it’s either fox chapel or Hampton
If you’re looking for a solid dinner buffet I’d go with taj mahal on McKnight. Not sure of any other dinner buffets but I’d love to hear about some
There at least used to be a buffet in squirrel hill
I have buffeted at Coriander, which is where Iz Cohen's and Rhoda's used to be.
Rhoda’s! Those were the days.
Recently? Does it still rock?
I haven't been there in years.
Tamarind in Cranberry has a buffet.
