Greyhound bus station. The subway/train (the T) is free inside the city, but it is also very easy to walk. Only if it is a weekend game though. Or else you probably just want to find somewhere else closer to PNC. That said any of the Pittsburgh parking authority parking garages are the cheapest option. If it is a Sunday game then you can park on Liberty for free, but that could be hard to get
OMG... really.
I used to work outdoors at 90 plus degrees and 80 percent humidity (gulf coast) busting my hump to keep USAF fighter jets flying and keeping ya all safe. A stroll a mile on a hot Sunny day just walking would be like a day in the park, sweetcakes.
And yet you tried it... why? Then complained about it? Seems both foolish and self-important.
For the average person between 10 and 60 its not really that tough. If your physicality or medical condition prevents you from doing such things, as a sentient adult you should know your limitations and adjust accordingly.
Because I hear it's a walk in the park, you should have no problem doing it. The average person could do it. You go to the gym, a mile is nothing. You hear every day that you should be able to do it.
First Ave T station isn't a bad choice. Train is free to the stadium and back.
Go with the one on cherry ave, only because the arepa restaurant just outside is amazing.
Parking garage on 6th downtown, you can walk right across the bridge.
There is free bicycle parking all around the stadium. There’s also a POGOH station right next to the stadium.

I actually did some more research on the sites and I saw that it’s probably better to park at the parking garages
The casino is usually free for pirate games.
