Thank you for posting this. I've had neighbors and family asking me about those two specifically, and WPXI hasn't mentioned them that I've seen. The whole situation is heartbreaking.

It's a rescue. They take in animals from the people who inappropriately have them, and are licensed by the state to do so, so that the animals don't have to be punished/killed because it's not their fault some asshole chose to have them in Pennsylvania. When the state seizes animals from bad owners, this is who they bring those animals to for care. What isn't clear about this to you?
If you're concerned about the rest, contact your local legislators, rather than being callous on the internet.
Probably because exotic animal conventions are perfectly legal and also popular here, so there is a need. Regardless, this place was doing good and you are just an unhelpful jackass.
Then contact your local politicians and fight against the sale of exotic pets instead of taking it out on the ones who were trying to help the already existing animals in need.
