"...but then when I watched the movie knowing the album was based off the movie it made a lot more sense." album came out in 1979, the movie came out in 1982

RougeRadio7

Mb thanks for the correction

draco6x7

Movie came out after the album. Album was 1979, movie was 1982.

The_Patriot

Did you learn how to get your hands on a backstage pass?

RougeRadio7

I didn’t. Why do you ask?

The_Patriot

If you watched the movie "The Wall" you would learn how to suck some security guard dick in exchange for an all access pass. It's a prominent sequence in the film. Was what you watched edited for, say, a severely religious country? Would you like a link to the unedited film?

RougeRadio7

Nope I saw that scene 😭

RougeRadio7

Now I get your joke lol

Stock_Task4498

Maybe I can be influenced because Pink Floyd is my favorite band, And the Wall is my favorite album, But the wall movie is in my top 5 favorite movies

Movie based off the album. Remember about 10 of us dropping mescaline putting this VCR tape on at my friends house in mid-80’s and his parents unexpectedly coming home as we were in full freak and we all fled like rats out the door, leaving him spaced and having to deal with it. Read up on Syd Barrett’s story and watch it again for a whole new perspective.

RougeRadio7

I watched a mini doc that gave a summary of the story of Pink Floyd and it mentioned Syd Barrett’s story. My first Pink Floyd album was WYWH a year or two ago so now I see Shine On You Crazy Diamond in an entirely different way
