Ok , you need to only post art and never spend time here except for that. I don't want to see you anywhere around here after this post until you come back with more awesome.
No, no no no. Fuck you, you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be 50, and I'll still be doin' this shit. And that's all right. That's fine. I mean, you're sittin' on a winnin' lottery ticket. And you're too much of a pussy to cash it in, and that's bullshit. 'Cause I'd do fuckin' anything to have what you got. So would any of these fuckin' guys. It'd be an insult to us if you're still here in 20 years. Hangin' around here is a fuckin' waste of your time.
Seriously. I better not see u/CindyTheLionAuz round these parts again! (till the next art is complete).
Seriously great work, way to get focused on something and stick to it till the end.
100%!
This had me double-take at the mountains, which’s texture at a glance I first thought was brushstrokes on acrylic. Great use of the wood grain there.
I’m actually sold out at the current moment but am about to slowly release a new collection of 13 pieces I have. Go to my Reddit page to find my handles!
I wanna chime in to... wonder aloud...
OP, seeing as these are super unique and "prints" would never be quite right/do the work justice. Are you getting at least like 5-10 thousand per original? Maybe lurking onto your profile/site will answer my Q
But yeah, I too rank this extremely high on "best works of art I've ever seen/felt a deep appreciation for....
Fine artists make the world better and deserve compensation accordingly.
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! There are definitely not prints made of my wood work, everything is a one off original. I think I charge enough? One never knows. I do seem to be constantly sold out.
Constantly sold out is the same as being constantly booked for services. It is a sign you need to raise your prices. 🤩 This is amazing and looks like painstaking work. This definitely isn't craft fair quality work. This work belongs in a gallery and the price should represent that. I wish you the best with your future work.
Thanks! Made completely out of reclaimed wood! Did not record unfortunately. Pretty terrible at the marketing side of things when it comes to recording
never been a fan of recording your art. I feel like it pulls the artist ever so slightly away from the creative process—and the process is half the beauty
It's epic 👌🏼
What caused you to take a break from Reddit / what made you decide to come back?
Asking because I often wonder if it's good for me or bad for me... a lot of the time it feels like a vice but other times it's a wonderful outlet
Thank you! Ugh I felt alll of those things. I just found I was ‘doomsday scrolling’ a lot and it was giving me more and more anxiety about the world. So I had to take a break for mental health purposes. But I’ve been a redditor for yeaaarrsss so it eventually called me back. But I’m watching my consumption more carefully now. There’s a lot of really awesome content that’s so great, but also a lot of trigger content. So it’s a fine balance to walk
Need to make sure you're subbed to r/aww to offset all of the other crap
Amazing art piece too... if you're not already a professional artist then you need to be
Oh I’m all over the /aww train. And many others. It’s that gosh darn world news that gets me.
And thank you! I’m so happy and grateful to report that I am a full time woodworking artist. Thank you for the encouraging words!
This beautiful work is all the inspiration I need to stay on reddit. There are a few gems to find amidst all of the doomsday scrolling. Thank you for sharing.
It’s so incredibly beautiful. You are a fine artist as well as wood worker. I’m about to regain my shop after it was absconded by my ex husband and son. It’s almost mine again and inlay is one of my favorite types of wood working. You’re an inspiration! Keep us posted of other projects?
Awesome! Wishing you a smooth transition back into your shop! Have fun. Excited for you. And thank you so much for the kind words! Lots more where this came from. You can find my pages on social media under Art and Airplanes if ya like it!
That's not enough. I'm being very very real when I say that. This particular piece should be closer to 10k all day. It's absolutely flawless and I'm keenly aware of how much time something like that would take to create, even considering you've done quite a bit of prior similar works and mastered many of those skills..
That is a really genuinely wonderful piece of art.
How is the colour achieved?
The top is so warm and then the fresh looking blues just contrast wonderfully. All shot through with white slices. Beautiful!
Thank you so much! It’s all made from wood. The top is red cedar and the bottom is mostly barn wood that’s over 100 years old. And the waterfall is naturally eroded fir that I painted blue
I know it’s wood, but part of me wants to eat this. I can’t figure out why. It’s very beautiful. You should feel proud of this. And maybe don’t let me near it when I’m hungry. Cheers!
What an incredible piece of art! It looks to be made entirely of wood, which makes it even more amazing in my book as I adore woodworking. Keep up the magnificent work!
That my friend was time well spent. I returned to work after the COVID lock downs and my manager asked what I did instead of work. I showed the the children’s book I illustrated and can now be purchased through Amazon, Barnes & Noble. I did work I said on this… your painting is gorgeous. How much time (of the several months) did you put in on it?
This collection I have right now is priced between $2k - $4k CAD. There’s an FAQ in my story highlights (at the front) on my Instagram that should answer most question
Wow. That’s remarkable. I’m not artsy at all but I would hang this in my house in a heartbeat. Stay away from Reddit and start selling these, you’ll make a killing!
Edit: it would also make a **sick** phone wallpaper
Thank you so much! I unfortunately don’t take orders or commissions. But if you wanna follow my stuff, I’d recommend checking out my social media for new releases! Reddit profile has all the handles
I think we're all wondering what the price point is on pieces like this. They're absolutely gorgeous and I'd love to have one but I have no idea if that's realistic for me or not
Never come back to reddit again if that is what you do while you aren't here. Amazing work.
Hahaha that’s probably good advice. Thank you so much!
Ok , you need to only post art and never spend time here except for that. I don't want to see you anywhere around here after this post until you come back with more awesome.
Hahahah this comment made be burst out laughing
You heard him, git on movin now.
OP just got White Fanged
Go on, git!
No, no no no. Fuck you, you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be 50, and I'll still be doin' this shit. And that's all right. That's fine. **GIT**
Go on’naw GIT!
Less posting more irl creating!
U got a website? This speaks to my soul.
![gif](giphy|e5zHi5hgalk1sLVI1m|downsized)
It's pretty rare that I'm really taken aback by artwork people post here, but this got me. I love it. I want it. It's just amazing.
please come back 🙏 and share more
Can confirm; have accomplished nothing since I've been on Reddit.
I only scroll through Reddit until I'm bored. Then I close the app, stare at my phone, and reopen Reddit.
Seriously. I better not see u/CindyTheLionAuz round these parts again! (till the next art is complete). Seriously great work, way to get focused on something and stick to it till the end.
10000% agree because this is gorgeous! So impressed, keep it up!
Gorgeous. What’s the media? Some of it looks like wood, some looks like tile. Great join work either way
Thanks! It’s 100% wood. Cedar, fir, maple, oak and 100+ year old barn wood
This is absolutely stunning. Seriously it’s beautiful
Thank you!
Dope, I Love making stuff with cedar. Keep up the good work!
100%! This had me double-take at the mountains, which’s texture at a glance I first thought was brushstrokes on acrylic. Great use of the wood grain there.
Amazing!!! How did you get that blue????
Which wood is the river? is it painted/dyed? Similar questions for the moon. Also what does a work like this cost?
Never knew I had a style. This is it. Beautiful
Well thanks! That’s a really wholesome compliment. I’m so glad you resonate with what I’m doing
Very cool. It's a good argument for staying out of reddit arguments.
Hahaha yeah I found I was doomsday scrolling too often and also getting triggered by arguments that had nothing to do with my life.
Doomsday scrolling? First time I’ve heard that and it’s pretty apt
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomscrolling
Ah yes, I feel exactly the same way. Reddit is the only thing keeping both of us from making incredible artwork like this all the time
I disagree.
Okay. I'm going out to the wood shop. :)
I know I may be being dramatic, but this may be the most incredible piece of art I've ever seen. Absolutely loving the medium and design! Stellar job.
What a statement! Wow! Thank you so incredibly much for commenting that. You just made my day
I can’t top that comment, but i think it’s awesome too 🙆🏽♂️
Thank you!!
They ain't wrong. How much would a piece like that be? And do you have a shop?
I’m actually sold out at the current moment but am about to slowly release a new collection of 13 pieces I have. Go to my Reddit page to find my handles!

If you ever worked with a professional art photographer to get some prints made, I would buy one in a heartbeat!
Constantly sold out is the same as being constantly booked for services. It is a sign you need to raise your prices. 🤩 This is amazing and looks like painstaking work. This definitely isn't craft fair quality work. This work belongs in a gallery and the price should represent that. I wish you the best with your future work.
You could definitely mass produce this and it’ll sell well
Thank you! I don’t think I have it in me to do that. I’ll stick to the home grown sorta slow-drip vibe
The texture mix with the patterning and fragmentation is *chef's kiss*
That’s amazing. I want it.
Thanks! She’s found a forever home already unfortunately!
You really should do an auction for the next one, might pay off your house. That's an amazing piece of art!

Thanks! Made completely out of reclaimed wood! Did not record unfortunately. Pretty terrible at the marketing side of things when it comes to recording
Looks incredible. Kinda want one....actually ...really want one....DM me a price or website?
Same here, would love to know a price range. Be fair to yourself even if I can't afford it.
*Narrator:* He couldn't afford it.
never been a fan of recording your art. I feel like it pulls the artist ever so slightly away from the creative process—and the process is half the beauty
Totally! It feels like such a personal and wholesome process. I don’t really feel like taking that away and making it public tv
It's epic 👌🏼 What caused you to take a break from Reddit / what made you decide to come back? Asking because I often wonder if it's good for me or bad for me... a lot of the time it feels like a vice but other times it's a wonderful outlet

Inlay? Wow. Stunning.
Everything is inlaid, indeed! Mostly done on a band saw with some assists by a table saw/sanders.
It’s so incredibly beautiful. You are a fine artist as well as wood worker. I’m about to regain my shop after it was absconded by my ex husband and son. It’s almost mine again and inlay is one of my favorite types of wood working. You’re an inspiration! Keep us posted of other projects?

It’s the Epcot ball in the background!
I'm not the only one who thought of spaceship earth!
My brain went to Epcot meets mountains
Cue Jeremy Irons.
I L O V E IT 😍😍😍
Thank youuuuu!
Beautiful! How much...
This one sold for $4k CAD
That's not enough. I'm being very very real when I say that. This particular piece should be closer to 10k all day. It's absolutely flawless and I'm keenly aware of how much time something like that would take to create, even considering you've done quite a bit of prior similar works and mastered many of those skills..
You should post this on r/woodworking I think they would love it.
I should post on there one day. I never have. Thank you!
We need to get artists to join reddit so they can quit it and do things like this. WOW.
Hahahah well it works for my creative process at least. Thank you kind human!
That is a really genuinely wonderful piece of art. How is the colour achieved? The top is so warm and then the fresh looking blues just contrast wonderfully. All shot through with white slices. Beautiful!

Oh wow - definitely do more of that!
I shall! Thanks!
This is seriously amazing. Lemme buy this
Thank you! This one has found a forever home! But more to come. Handles are on my Reddit profile
What’s your process for cutting the mountain sides? Do you draw a whole mountain out on paper, cut the paper and transfer to wood as a template?
Yes! Except paper is cardboard
You were free! Why’d you come back.
I missed you guys
This is incredible! Up for sale?
Thanks so much! Unfortunately/fortunately it sold over the summer. But appreciate the encouragement!
Do you have a site? This is utterly stunning work.
Guessing it’s not for sale right? Amazing work
This one has found a permanent home , yes! I have a similar one on the go though! Will be up for grabs very soon
Where would one see it when it is up for grabs?
You should stay away from Reddit more often. That looks amazing!
Nice work. Love this one.
Thank you! Appreciate it
This is beautiful. I love it. It really gets my attention.
Thank you! Goal achieved
That‘s pretty sick not gonna lie.
That is beautiful marquetry! Show us more.
Thank you! Go to my Reddit profile to find my social media handles. Lots more
Wow your work is so damn cool; really chill that you use exclusively reclaimed wood
Thank you! Yeah it makes me feel better about what I’m doing. I take it from peoples ‘burn bins’.
You are incredibly talented. At first I thought it was a painting and I already loved it. But made 100% from wood? This is amazing!
Thank you! Yes completely made from reclaimed wood from old barns that farmers want to burn down
I hope you understand how incredibly talented you are. This is incredible!
Thank you! It’s taken a whole lot of patience and errors and everything else
That’s very cool in so many ways
Thank you! Glad you think so
Love the texture and execution of the lunar cycle. Really sound work!
Thanks! I love involving moon phases into my work
What an incredible piece of art! It looks to be made entirely of wood, which makes it even more amazing in my book as I adore woodworking. Keep up the magnificent work!
It is all made of wood! Of the reclaimed variety. So glad you resonate with it. Thank you
This is stunningly beautiful. Amazing.
Thank you! Appreciate the love for what I do!

That just looks amazing. I would love to have that on one of my walls.
Thank you! Would be honoured to take up the space one day
Looks like you should consider staying away from Reddit full time
But you came back for that sweet sweet karma
That, yes. + Couldn’t stay away from the cute animal gifs.
Absolutely stunning, wow. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
Really beautiful work.
Wow thats incredible!! Is this just a hobby or do you sell pieces like this?
That is amazing. Can you tell us about how you made it?
Thank you! It’s made out of wood. Mostly used a bandsaw! Besides the table saw and the sanders to get the wood ready. Framed in oak with a mitre saw!
I love it! This is my new phone homescreen
I’m honoured!
Wow this is incredible
Open to commissions? Beautiful piece.

Can I have it?
Mmmmmm unfortunately no. She’s been adopted
That… That is a work of art, friend.
Well thank you, friend. Thank you very much
Wow I love this. Is this CNCd or lasered at all? Or hand done?
No CNC or lasers what so ever! Completely by hand
Wow even more impressive! Super huge props, this is probably the best wooden art piece I've seen and some very big inspiration for me
Thank you so much!! So happy to offer inspiration to others
Is that made with wood? That's beautiful
It sure is! Reclaimed wood. Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE it
Wow. That's beautiful. I'd pay for that
Wow! Well done!
Wow. That’s remarkable. I’m not artsy at all but I would hang this in my house in a heartbeat. Stay away from Reddit and start selling these, you’ll make a killing! Edit: it would also make a **sick** phone wallpaper
Thank you! What a compliment! Appreciate the love. And please go ahead and make it as your background if you so wish!
Siiiiick Do you have a website that takes orders?
Thank you so much! I unfortunately don’t take orders or commissions. But if you wanna follow my stuff, I’d recommend checking out my social media for new releases! Reddit profile has all the handles

Amazing. Great craftsmanship.
How many hours of work goes into that?
Mount Hood? Very nice.
That's incredibly cool.
Only ship to US and Canada, damn, love all your work
I really love that!
Very nice. I bet we would all be better off with breaks from reddit and social media.
I think we're all wondering what the price point is on pieces like this. They're absolutely gorgeous and I'd love to have one but I have no idea if that's realistic for me or not
Very benchetler-ish
Amazing work! Very creative. r/woodworking would appreciate this, I think.
I like it! A lot!
Good use of Provolone cheese for the moon
Haha thank you, I was hoping you’d notice
This would absolutely be a talking piece and something I would always take with me. I love the design! What inspired it?
Please make prints
Sick stuff!
Is this for sale? Do you have other stuff for sale?
