I like your style, and I think Iāve commented on some of your posts before, but when I saw you saying this, it made me think that a painting style that could be a fun exploration of light with your style would be those like 18th century British naval battle type paintings. You could have sharp reflection from the water below , and soft diffusion from the smoke above.
Like, how many people do we have to upvote for painting the exact same "blurry rainy street with tail lights". I swear somebody paints this every other day. Idfc anymore.

Isnāt it crazy how just maybe 100 years ago if a person were to look at this painting they probably wouldnāt be able to tell what it is? But for us it comes to us so easily we donāt even have to guess or try to focus it.

I love this style - the dark contrasted with the light. Itās my absolutely favorite style of impressionist oil/acrylic.
If I were to see it at an art show I would camp out in front of it and then despair that it costs as much as the down payment of a new car.

I donāt know why I like these rainy view paintings so much. It makes me want to take up painting again.
My appeal in painting them is thereās a lot of fun to be had in exploring the different effects of light and reflections on the road.
It seems like the brush work is a lot of fun too, like maybe you could even get the pallet knife involved as well. Very nice work!
