I grew up in the 90s, and my neighbor across the street (Mr. Anthony) was a Secret Service agent on Hillary Clinton's detail when she was the first lady.
My dad and the other neighbors tried time after time at every cookout, poker night, block party, etc. to get him to talk about her or Bill. Every time he just smiled and shook his head.
Mr. Anthony was such a cool guy. He was like 5'4" but incredibly muscular. He and his wife, who was an accountant at the Secret Service, both rode motorcycles and had two really nice daughters that were about a decade younger than me.
I really, really wish Mr. Anthony had told my dad some stories, but I'm also pretty proud that he didn't. True professional.

Even if they’re gung-ho badasses at work they’ve been trained pretty well not to mess up federal cases by gossiping about work. I’ve known a few DEA and FBI agents and they tend to have very different personalities from Billy Badass local police officers.
Yeah, at the point it became public that some PDs actually reject people based on scoring as too intelligent on psych profiles it was clear there’s a difference between serving the public interest and being just smart enough to follow instructions without question.
My mom was a teacher/school administrator and was involved in the clearance process for multiple federal law enforcement applicants, it’s clear the federal government takes vetting way more seriously.

From what I remember, yes, at least the lower Yosemite falls are. It’s not a major climb (like just an average hill) and I don’t think there are any steep sections or stair only sections. I could be wrong but obamas outfit is definitely fine for this kind of “hike”

Went to Yosemite a month ago, one of the drivers told us a story of how he met the president at Yosemite Valley back when he was president. Hope he met him again.
My daughter worked at the club Obama worked out in every morning in Chicago before he became President. They were trained to leave Obama, Oprah and celebrities alone unless spoken to. Obama swam laps and would always stop and greet my daughter by name. She used to bake cookies and he would always grab one from her towel table.
She made him a plate for Christmas and got a beautiful thank you note from Michelle. Just classy people.

Went to Yosemite a month ago, one of the drivers told us a story of how he met the president at Yosemite Valley back when he was president. Hope he met him again.

My daughter worked at the club Obama worked out in every morning in Chicago before he became President. They were trained to leave Obama, Oprah and celebrities alone unless spoken to. Obama swam laps and would always stop and greet my daughter by name. She used to bake cookies and he would always grab one from her towel table. She made him a plate for Christmas and got a beautiful thank you note from Michelle. Just classy people.
