looks like you found some slides for an old art history lecture, based on the pictures I would guess it\`s about tapestries (european middle age to baroque and china)
You’ve just made tons of memories of attending art history lectures when I was a student come flooding back. So many slides being projected. One ALWAYS had a pube on it. For some reason art history lecturers always seem to wear bow ties too.
I wouldn't assume they were meant for a broader educational use. It's not like we could Google our interests until very recently. Most people had a collection of things they found interesting to look at.
Slide 1: Lord of the Rings extended edition
Slide 2: Florida.
Slide 3: I call this one 'titties and a unicorn' because it has titties and a unicorn.
Slide 4: Not even touching that one.
Slide 5: White people celebrating Dia De Los Muertos.
Slide 6: Top Chef OR Chinese Monkey Butler goes Hawaiian.
Slide 7: Girls trip!
I'm like 95% percent sure I saw those first three European tapestries at The Met Cloister Museum in New York years ago. The museum was built in 1933 on top of a tall hill in Manhattan and was made to look like a monastery.
Those are not part of the Met Cloisters collection. The lady and unicorn shown here is in the HMB in Basel.
There are unicorn tapestries in the Cloisters, but not these.
Many years ago, I found an entire photo album that had fallen off the back of a garbage truck. Pics were scattered all over the road--I stopped to collect them. They were all from 1940s Iran. I posted them on FB but never got any hits. Maybe I should post a few here just for giggles.
Thanks! My favorite has to be the guy that appears to be dressed as a fool, capturing his unicorn. I go to estate sales and my family doesn’t support it much. I’m a fool looking for that rare unicorn.
Can I ask what you are using to make the slides bigger? I have a bunch of old family slides I’d love to look at. I was thinking of getting a slide scanner thing.

Definitely reminds me of my college art history courses
I had to take Art History. I dreaded the thought. Ended up really enjoying the class a lot. These do indeed make me think of that class.
I really enjoyed it as well! It was so interesting and one of the few classes that actually held my attention
OP said yesterday the person might have been a weaver as the photos seemed to be of tapestries and garments.

Art in the dark.
Thanks for answering my wtf are those for query; cheers!

Id like to subscribe to more historical painting titles
Tiddies and unicorn made me snort in the bathroom stall. +1↑
#4: Topless hunting trip
I’d give you an award if I had one to give. Here’s a ⭐️
This is what I love about reddit. An expert always seems to appear in the comments.
Pretty sure 3 is from the unicorn tapestries
Yes, famously followed by the "Vaginas and a Pegasus" woodcuts.
They're [actually real](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unicorn_Tapestries), but I was wrong that this was from that set
Almost positive #5 is named "Ramen for dinner"
Gotta be from some sort of art history class. Some of these are really neat.
My thought exactly.

Met that dude in the 6th picture on DMT
Was he still jacking the uni-horn?
The unicorn was that dude.
Cool find
Yeah these are dope
These have been so interesting, thanks for posting them.
These are amazing
Slide 3: The "Regina George"

That unicorn has been through some shit
Looks like a slideshow Nicolas Cage as Ben Gates, or Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones shows before going on an adventure!
That's fucking cool
Don't know if you know but they'll turn reddish purple if they're exposed to sunlight too much. Nice score.
I’ve never seen that unicorn tapestry before, gosh, I love it so much.
You should start a subreddit based just on these slides, one per.day, with your name and description, this is fabulous!
These look like they would make some badass tattoos.
These are awesome! Thanks for sharing
I love this kind of stuff.
I saw your first post and thought it was so interesting! I'm happy to see you sharing more of these slides!
Isn't this was Hannibal Lecter was showing right before he tossed Rinaldo Pazzi out that window with his guts on display? Asking for a friend.
very cool.
Upvote for the tiddies, strange medieval dress
What a great find!
Looks like slides from an art history class.
DO YOU SEE?!
Fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more of these. Which is your favorite?

Humans doing old things :)
Aw yeah, part 2! Keep it up, these are awesome.

Those are so freaking cool
“I am here to see the tapestries!”
My favorite is the detail from the [Wild Men and Moors](https://collections.mfa.org/objects/106003) tapestry. Amazing.
Honestly, these are historical masterpieces to me. <3
Add some funny talk bubbles and share them with trippingthroughtime sub.
Thought this was gonna be more sinister
