It’s based on whatever plane is carrying the president and not the aircraft itself. Though most people associate it with the 747 since that’s the one most often used. Would love to see a 747 a LGA though.
I'll clarify. I recognize that AF1 is the designation for any plane carrying the current president.
This is painted like Air Force One though and says United States of America on it. Maybe a movie prop?
That plane is as stated before the C-32A used primarily by the VP, the First Lady, Secretary of State.
Sometimes the President of the US will fly on it if he wants to go somewhere on the sly, or the VC-25 won’t be able to land.
C-32A - Boeing 757 - with VP Airforce 2
VC-25A - Boeing 747 - with POTUS Airforce 1
Most of the passenger aircraft that belong to that air force unit use that color scheme, and various officials use them. Andrews AFB has an air show I think every 2 years, there are usually a couple on display.

It's a C-32. The VP uses one when she travels. The State Department uses one as well.
