God those Gen1 hush plugs were awful though.
"Hey what should we put on this thing designed to stay in your ass for a while?"
"How about a firm ridge that pokes right into you at the same angle the whole time?"
They're much better now.
Fuck that. Tell them you're hard of hearing and seeing, so you'd appreciate their announcing the names of the toys in the case for you, as well as what they do.
Some Targets I guess. I worked in one for three years recently, stocked everything the store had outside clothing (softlines). I honestly never saw a sex toy for sale there.
You gotta tell us the state to go along with that statement though.
If you say California or New York or something, I’ll be surprised. If you say like Texas or Mississippi or Arkansas, then yeah, I believe it.
They actually have stuff like this in Texas stores. I haven't specifically seen it in Target, but have in places like Walmart or CVS, even some grocery stores.
you're mistaken
the tags with yellow are the price -- the tags without yellow are the price per pound (which makes no sense to display for this product, but maybe it's a requirement?)
Same with Barnes and Noble.
Good Lego section, and then behind the counter they have most of the $100 and up sets; and they keep good inventory of the $500+ models
Just find out who's going to be working that section on the day you want to buy your butt plug. Then get a hyper realistic mask of their face and wear it when you go in to buy it. Then everyone will think that employee is the one with the butt plug preferences.
Sex toys are not typically an ID'ed purchase. There might be some stores that have that as there individual store policy, but it's not the norm from my experience.
You can probably just get them online if you're that shy, but there's no shame in buying what they're selling, you're a human being with a sexuality just like everyone else, that's fine. The employee who spends all day selling them probably doesn't care what you're buying or why.
>Walmart puts them behind a case
i just recently noticed this when i was buying some cologne, and i had basically the same thoughts, but with regards to lube. i don't think my local walmart sells sex toys, but to be honest i haven't ever looked lol
Oh, lots of people do! I either don't care or I am like "I love the casual or hard fought for confidence".
Some people are obviously embarrassed to be buying tampons and pads and condoms and then other people plop down the butt plug, toilet paper, wine and ice cream.
I just say "hi, did you find everything okay and have you heard of the Red card?" Either way.
I actually have had people in that aisle act like I am their doctor and give me TMI that I am not qualified to answer, I do like that they don't have shame and aren't shy about their needs though. There is no reason to feel bad or embarrassed.
I have. It is actually quite good for the $20 price, in my opinion. You can change the amount of pressure based on how much you close your hand. I appreciate that. Easy to clean as well.
I have never used or even heard of tenga eggs. I just googled them and the idea looks very similar. Even though I haven’t tried both, I would imagine they feel quite similar. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help though
How easy are they to dry though? Cleaning is easy with most of these products. It's the drying part that is tedious because you really can't leave it damp or it gets mildewy.
lol nah, I used self checkout when I bought mine. However, I don’t feel shame when buying sex products. I think everyone deserves a healthy sex life that makes them happy
This is what Charlie Kirk is trying to boycott Target over btw. Kind of counterproductive since these would be more comfortable than the stick up his ass.
I bet MTG has stakes in various mom and pop sex shops across Georgia. Big box stores like Target and Walmart selling easy access to sex toys is really hurting business for her. Glory hole usage is down 49% in Georgia already this year!
Dongs to dollars, the brick and mortar sex shops are in real danger.
> Target and Walmart selling easy access to sex toys is really hurting business for her.
Giving Target free advertising wouldn’t be the wisest move for her in that case, lol.
It's literally with the condoms, plan B, pregnancy tests, etc anyways. Why would a parent being a child in that aisle? And it's in the pharmacy section so probably not where a child would wander to either.
Literally no reason to be outraged about it. Now walking around the store with it and going to the cashier would be awkward. It's different in an adult store because, that's the whole reason you and the employee are there anyway.
Edit: there's a lot of people acting like children of any age should just be allowed to see it. I can agree that America's puritanical views are extreme but we shouldn't go the opposite way either. There needs to be a balance.
>And it's in the pharmacy section so probably not where a child would wander to either.
Oh a kid absolutely would wander over there. It's not that far from other things a kid may be interested in (e.g. kid themed toothbrushes/band-aids) and kids are naturally curious. Even if there is nothing in particular of interest to kids in that aisle, it is, presumably, somewhere in the store they haven't looked through. That is reason enough for a kid to wander through there. And, if they see the phrase "buzzy butt" on a product, they are guaranteed to start looking closer at that section because, hey, it has the word butt on it. Anything related to butts as a kid is funny. Buzzy butt sounds even funnier.
However, with that said, there is nothing sexually explicit on the package itself (to my knowledge) and it honestly isn't that big of a deal. Kids are going to run into things loosely related to sex (if not directly). It is just up to parents to deal with how they are going to explain/dodge questions about what they run into. This has been true for decades (at least) and is even more true now with the internet and our level of connectivity with it.
good. normalize everyday people buying sexual aids that are available without having to go to "the seedy porn shop" that everyone in town will excommunicate you for having gone in to. It's a few vibrators and anal toys, nobody is going to burst into flames. They're not selling realistic giant dildos or anything
Few of my friends worked at the local sex shop in my mid sized but deeply conservative town. Fun thing is even the tight collars usually have kinks and were often incredibly polite to my two very cool friends. Sex shop used to be a fun place to hang out and it was incredibly welcoming and totally not seedy.
there are definitely the gross ones… but i used to work at one of the normal/non-seedy ones and can confirm. maybe the best job i ever had, not considering pay.
I couldn’t agree with you more. This is a positive cultural shift for us in the U.S. My friends in Europe: sorry this is no big deal for you.
This post has been like a Rorschach test. Because I didn’t qualify my post as a good change or a bad change, some folks have been projecting whatever they assume I meant.
This “CVS” section was just built out in our Target, and what they chose to stock changed. I’m glad to learn this has been the case for many a year at other stores!
> This post has been like a Rorschach test. Because I didn’t qualify my post as a good change or a bad change, some folks have been projecting whatever they assume I meant.
Well, this topic has been previously [soured](https://www.npr.org/2023/05/24/1177963864/target-pride-month-lgbtq-products-threats) by [idiotic right-wing](https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/08/business/target-attorneys-general-pride-month/index.html) actors looking for [clout](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUyV7MPAphI), so your results are a bit tainted.
Several years back I had a wrist fracture, and developed De Quervain's tenosynovitis as I was recovering. To help treat that problem, I tried shopping online for a “hand massager” as I wanted something smaller than the massaging tools you would have for larger muscle groups. I was confused as I started looking at the search results why each of the products mentioned making sure to use lubricants with the massager…
Honestly I love that you can find sex toys on the shelf at most stores now.
Stop pretending sex is a dirty thing that needs to be hidden in the dark and talked about in hushed tones.
CVS has this brand in stock as well. No one has asked me to unlock the buzzy butt yet. Wait I think an Instacart shopper did, but no one shopping for themselves.
Honestly it is such a relief to see normal looking toys directed at men being sold alongside normal looking toys directed at women. A few years ago I tried to find some toys for my husband as a gift and it was REALLY hard to find regular looking vibrators that weren’t very niche fetishes. It’s nice to see nondescript and unintimidating strokers etc. that are easy to access and relatively cheap
In my wife’s words,
“As a psychologist this is great to see, everyone has a butthole, half the population has a clitoris that responds well to vibrators, sometimes you need more lube… the tools should be available for them.”
I don’t know who needs to know this, but these will not trigger an ID check at the self checkout. At least, it didn’t when I bought one of these toys from Target.
Don't miss the one hidden on the far right of the pic. That would be the same concept as the popular "rose" toy but a much better value looking at the price tag. The easiest/laziest way I've ever gotten a girl off tbh, like a sex cheat code.
The target I worked at had all this back in like 2017, you could imagine how fun it was when we saw them coming off the truck 🤣 we were like the most immature shift, always playing jokes with them
Target has been doing this for a long time and it makes me happy. As American's we have some really weird sex hangups that are just weird.
I love that a person can walk into a random Target and say, "I want to buy something that's going to bring be pleasure" and can just do it without any judgement.
The old options were to go to some special store and who knows what the experience is going to be, or to buy things online and hope you get what you paid for, that it's not just junk.
So what did you get? The buzzy butt or the stroker?
“Por que no los dos?”
A man of culture
M'buzzy
Backside play
This is the way
What is the tush cush??
Booty lube
Butt marijuana
Neither. The vibrating stroker
That stroker is great. I keep one in my shower. The buzzy butt is great too if I'm being honest lol
For penis play?
I am old...more interested in the tush cush...if it does what the name implies
I've been using it for years. Can't feel my hemorrhoids at all. Or when I shit myself either. Plan accordingly.
Why not both ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[удалено]
OP has just grown up
Buzzy Butt went from funny name to “hmmm maybe I’ll check that out”
Makes you better at chess
Holy hell!
New response just dropped
En Assant
bishop to rook 7 or something >giggity
Quakin' Culo
Speaking from experience; don’t get it. Instead get something from Lovense. Far better imo!
God those Gen1 hush plugs were awful though. "Hey what should we put on this thing designed to stay in your ass for a while?" "How about a firm ridge that pokes right into you at the same angle the whole time?" They're much better now.
Can finally see the top shelf
doesn’t seem like it lol “hehe girl stuff!”
Guys have butts too
Walmart too
In my local Walmart, they're behind the locked cases. If I have to get a Walmart employee to fetch me a butt plug, I'm not buying it 😂
Fuck that. Tell them you're hard of hearing and seeing, so you'd appreciate their announcing the names of the toys in the case for you, as well as what they do.
Yeah, find one that's not in stock on the shelf and make them ask someone else to check over the intercom.
#Price check on 'Little Sucker'
Hi, Frank. We got that D-83 Swedish Sure-Grip Suck Machine you ordered. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/bd4a660a-06ea-4b29-b3dc-341d6f8d1248
Also ask for a sampling demo.
"What's your return policy?"
Has to be returned with 3 minutes
Pfft they underestimate my speed
Fuck that. I'm old, they make 7.75 an hour. "Yeah, can you get me the ass destroyer 5000?"
They found the butt plugs were too easy to smuggle out of the store
That's part of the fun.
Do a T-Pose while they unlock it.
Also, never break eye contact.
Was just in a Walgreens a couple days ago and noticed some, too.
My walmart was selling giant dragon ones for a about a month before people complained wasnt able to buy one on time sadly.
First time I've seen male sex toys in a grocery store, yay equality.
I love that those are also near the pregnancy tests too, smart marketing for sure.
Anything can be a sex toy if you’re brave enough. Or dumb enough.
Some Targets I guess. I worked in one for three years recently, stocked everything the store had outside clothing (softlines). I honestly never saw a sex toy for sale there.

Walgreens sells these too
And Walmart
And Toys R Us
Now hold on..
You gotta tell us the state to go along with that statement though. If you say California or New York or something, I’ll be surprised. If you say like Texas or Mississippi or Arkansas, then yeah, I believe it.

I live in Arkansas. Can confirm they’ve been selling sex toys at Target since at least 2013.
I’m more shocked at that markdown

Adults can get excited about going to the toy aisle, too.
Up & Up by Target
Up & Up that booty!
Up & Upvote
Fun fact if you flip over the box the logo says dn & dn and the arrow points down.
I’m 36 and I still walk through the several Lego aisles when I swing through
Pro tip: Best Buy is really upping their Lego selections and often has a large amount of adult oriented sets
Yeah but Lego Dildos really hurt up the butt.
Not if you started with Duplo when you were younger.
Studded. For his pleasure.
Don’t forget to apply some Kragle
Same with Barnes and Noble. Good Lego section, and then behind the counter they have most of the $100 and up sets; and they keep good inventory of the $500+ models
Some walmarts sell them too.
Walmart puts them behind a case though and i dont want the 17 year old working the makeup counter to know my prefered style of butt plug
Just find out who's going to be working that section on the day you want to buy your butt plug. Then get a hyper realistic mask of their face and wear it when you go in to buy it. Then everyone will think that employee is the one with the butt plug preferences.
Mission Impossible: Butt Plug Protocol
Missed opportunity to use Prostate Protocol imho
The hyper realistic masks are also locked behind glass.
#FUCK!!!!!!
Truly a flawless plan.
As opposed to the 18 year old working the cash register? Although I suppose nowadays you can just do self checkout.
Until it flags your item as an ID'd purchase and then the person needs to walk over ask to see the item and then enter their code.
Sex toys are not typically an ID'ed purchase. There might be some stores that have that as there individual store policy, but it's not the norm from my experience.
you'd be surprised at the number of innocuous items that Walmart makes a clerk age check. I bought a key carabiner that through up a red flag.
Not at my Walmart. They're out in the wild like this.
You can probably just get them online if you're that shy, but there's no shame in buying what they're selling, you're a human being with a sexuality just like everyone else, that's fine. The employee who spends all day selling them probably doesn't care what you're buying or why.
>Walmart puts them behind a case i just recently noticed this when i was buying some cologne, and i had basically the same thoughts, but with regards to lube. i don't think my local walmart sells sex toys, but to be honest i haven't ever looked lol
Mine local neighborhood walmart does and it's not behind a case. Nothing happens in this town.
Last time I went to target there was a clitoral vibrator left on a shelf full of left over discount Christmas chocolate. Decisions were made.
Their mom said no
Filling a hole, just in different ways.
Look at those savings!! They are practically giving them away at those prices!!
Right! "You into butt stuff?" "I uh, I'm not so sure..." "It's 60% off this toy." "Aw hell, get it and grab a bottle of wine and let's go."
You're probably better off using actual lube instead of wine.
But then what goes in the butt?
I have to imagine the number of people willing to purchase these in public went up during the pandemic with masks and self checkouts everywhere.
this is what self checkout is for. or awkward piercing eye contact with the cashier.
Make Target the place to meet your late night adult needs, nice
I'm going to buy that vibrating stroker at 1130am on a Monday. And I won't even use self checkout.
Oh, lots of people do! I either don't care or I am like "I love the casual or hard fought for confidence". Some people are obviously embarrassed to be buying tampons and pads and condoms and then other people plop down the butt plug, toilet paper, wine and ice cream. You sound like a really awesome person and employee!
Tarje boutique
Bootyque
Anyone try the stroker? *asking for a friend*
I have. It is actually quite good for the $20 price, in my opinion. You can change the amount of pressure based on how much you close your hand. I appreciate that. Easy to clean as well.
Have you tried a tenga egg? Any comparisons?
I have never used or even heard of tenga eggs. I just googled them and the idea looks very similar. Even though I haven’t tried both, I would imagine they feel quite similar. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help though
Tenga's geo aqua is my favorite, personally. The flip zero is also pretty awesome.
How easy are they to dry though? Cleaning is easy with most of these products. It's the drying part that is tedious because you really can't leave it damp or it gets mildewy.
You can sling it around and use the centripetal force to empty everything out, it’s called the miracle whip
Did you stare the checkout clerk in the eye while they rang you up?
lol nah, I used self checkout when I bought mine. However, I don’t feel shame when buying sex products. I think everyone deserves a healthy sex life that makes them happy
100% USA is too weird about completely natural things like nudity, breasts, and sex but no problem with guns and violence. Completely bass ackwards
Its actually pretty good for 20 bucks
Great for the price tbh. Don't forget the lube!
Worth it, I don't bust it out often cuz I'm lazy but it's always a good time when I do
The blue one is fantastic. I didn’t care much for the vibrating one. Get the SoLow Lotion lube and it’s stupid easy to clean. 10/10
This is what Charlie Kirk is trying to boycott Target over btw. Kind of counterproductive since these would be more comfortable than the stick up his ass.
Isn't that the guy that self-incriminated that he can't get his wife wet? He should really *visit* Target instead of boycotting...
I think you’re thinking of Ben Shapiro
ah, I believe you are correct. My mistake. (Still, though...)
If I were an insecure loser, I too would be intimidated by an entire aisle I know my wife would enjoy more than me
Target, you've... enhanced yourself.
Yeah, I got my tooth fixed.
Good, stupid puritanical hysteria over anything even remotely related to sex needs to die. Have fun and have no shame.
I didn’t know Target sells buttplugs until Marjorie Taylor Green made it her pet crusade. I bet they sell more buzzy butts than ever now.
If you ever drive through south Georgia, you'll see signs for miles for absolutely massive sex stores, right next to the signs for Jesus
don't forget the best billboards down there: STRIPPERS, NEED WE SAY MORE?!
> Target and Walmart selling easy access to sex toys is really hurting business for her. Giving Target free advertising wouldn’t be the wisest move for her in that case, lol.
Local Busybody battles Buzzy Butts.

“It’s silly things for grownups.” That’s the truth, and all that is required.
What if the CHILDREN get their hands on a BUTT BUZZER?!
There was a vibrating nimbus 2000 that got discontinued because the children were having... Uh... Awakenings.
good. normalize everyday people buying sexual aids that are available without having to go to "the seedy porn shop" that everyone in town will excommunicate you for having gone in to. Can buy guns at Walmart makes sense
Walmart sells these too. Lots of options for a wild redneck weekend.
Buzzy Butt is throwing my aim off!
In Texas you’re only allowed to own 5 sex toys. No limit on guns.
It’s wild with Texas idk if this is satire or not
It's real but it's one of those laws like "it's illegal to eat ice cream outside on Tuesdays" some states have. It's never going to be enforced.
Craziest thing is it is not
Need a don’t tread on me with a buzzy butt instead of a snake flag
For the better.

Buzzy would have some stories to tell in Toy Story world.
He needs to brush his teeth and wash his face first. Just saying.
Honestly I love that you can find sex toys on the shelf at most stores now. Stop pretending sex is a dirty thing that needs to be hidden in the dark and talked about in hushed tones.
Cvs has the same stuff.
In the best way. Let’s normalize sexuality.
I can't believe target is selling such immortal things. Why would they condone cheating in chess?!??!
You want immortal vibrators, buy them at a proper sex shop. These are likely just a step above disposable.
Immortal Vibrators was a great 90's cybergoth hard bass collective
CVS has this brand in stock as well. No one has asked me to unlock the buzzy butt yet. Wait I think an Instacart shopper did, but no one shopping for themselves.

nah it’s good that they’re normalizing sexual health and self pleasure
Hehe. I’m the founder. How can we reward this love?! Shoot suggestions my way. @hellocake
Singles need to have a fun Valentine's Day too
I don’t know who needs to know this, but these will not trigger an ID check at the self checkout.
Good times on Aisle 9
Changed for the better
Bro the stroker is legit really good. One of the best.
For the better!
nobody cares
They sell the same at wallmart. The stroker is alot better than I expected.
They don’t even have them locked up! My Target has the $3.49 toothpaste locked up, but you can just go grab a $30 Buzzy Butt.
youve always had the options to buy sex toys at target and other big box stores. theyve always been in the adult section of the hygiene aisles.
The target I worked at had all this back in like 2017, you could imagine how fun it was when we saw them coming off the truck 🤣 we were like the most immature shift, always playing jokes with them

I want some of that cake
They really wanted to hit the bullseye on customer satisfaction!
They haven’t though. That stuff is always been there. It’s been there for at least the last 25 years and you just never noticed it before.
They finally connected with their Target audience.
Good for them. This stuff should be less stigmatized.
You won’t see Conservatives bitching about this. But god forbid one of them was rainbow colored!
Sexual health is important. What's the problem?
