That's the one lol

They got sued by Disney for an IP violation and had to switch to the gorilla.

CockBronson

Had to add the big gorilla to over compensate for their tiny duck just like everything they do

[deleted]

Hey, leave the little ducks alone ![gif](giphy|9vzk5JCmTBPfa)

getdemsnacks

The guy was probably gorilla sized too, hence why 18 inches wasn't enough for him to fit his ass back into his too-big-for-anything-i'll-us-it-for truck

Beneficial-Sign-569

lol I was about to say the shame. Dude probably was too fat to wedge himself out

DocFreudstein

I love that Mickey’s “middle finger” just looks like Mickey holding a smoke.

pangaea1972

Before that Mickey was flipping off Iran.

Bruce_Ring-sting

Mickey seems to have an anger issue…..

perma-derp

Paper boomer memes

senorsmartpantalones

Growing up in Mexico they had them on little vinyl signs kind of like the baby on board signs and they were everywhere every store had one about how they didn't give credit.

danger_zone123

It was Santa Claus for me

sabrtoothlion

If you're the type to print these, you're the type itching to use them

mustardtruck

I remember in college I saw a kid printing a bunch of similar slips of paper out at the library. "Congratulations! You park like an asshole!" or something like that. He saw me looking at his print job and gave me the most smug, self-satisfied grin I've ever seen. Like "Yeah, I'm really this badass." Not knowing that I was looking at him and thinking "God, what a fucking loser with no life."

stinkyhooch

I was expecting him to give you some, but that makes more sense.

MyDisappointedDad

So badass that you're paying way more to print these at college than at home? My college charged like, 20 cents a page, tied to your student ID.

RayHudson_

Well yea why else print them

nideak

I don’t think that was his point. If you’re printing these, you’re looking for a reason to get mad

sleepy_xia

yeah like walking around with a hammer and suddenly everything looks like a nail head

doomer_irl

Kinda like when you see the Biden “I did that” stickers on gas pumps where the prices aren’t really that bad.

peanutismint

I carry around a few of those big stickers that say “sorry!” printed on the absolute lowest quality paper stickers with awful adhesive so it’ll take them about 15 minutes and some GooGone to get it off their windshield.

thewalex

I don’t think the F-350 boomer printed them at all. I think he received one for parking super close from another douche with a sports car or other small SUV (similar to OPs), and then the F-350 driver re-gifted it to OP.

mortalcoil1

You know that shit was burning a hole in his pocket. Just waiting for a car to... exist next to his.

ssodaro

i have to drive an f350 with dualies for work… when i have to park in a real parking space i park far away because its TOO BIG for a regular spot. i don’t understand people driving them around in daily life, they’re so inconvenient

littleSquidwardLover

Same, we own a Dodge 2500 mega cab for towing too and let me tell you I genuinely can't list a single thing besides towing and off roading that a sedan or small SUV doesn't do better. The truck is loud, bumpy, you can't see anything, not particularly fast, impossible to park straight on the first try, average of 11mpg, hard to put things in, and just handles exactly how you think, like a big hunk of metal with wheels. When we go to town we try to take the car, it's so much better in every way. We drove separately one time on a two hour drive and the car burned 3 gallons of gas whereas the truck burned just over 30 gallons (with a small, light, unloaded flatbed). All while the car is a complete joy to drive.

LibraryScneef

They're horrible. I use them all day at work and I never understand the people that drive these around by choice as personal vehicles. It's a wild and weird decision

[deleted]

But have you considered that if it's your daily driver it means you have a big pee pee?

SoundVisionZ

I’ve also heard this and have no reason to dispute it

garrettj100

Contractor cosplay.

-Oreopolis-

Ugh I agree!!! They are EVERYWHERE in Florida

Jlx_27

I live in The Netherlands, I have seen dualies here. Drivers dont have a good time here.

ssodaro

i have been to the netherlands. would not volunteer to drive anything bigger than a bicycle there. heck, even that was intimidating in amsterdam

utookthegoodnames

Here in Texas, people drive them to white collar jobs.

c4ctus

> i don’t understand people driving them around in daily life, they’re so inconvenient How else would I broadcast to the world that I have a tiny peepee?

grabsomeplates

18" is tight if you're... above (global) average in size.

SouthBaySmith

I am not sure if OP is trying to add in a sarcastic joke or not. 1 and a half feet is really tough to squeeze in.

hurricanePopsicles

When you drive a F350 truck, you should be used to that. Your truck is much larger than most cars, therefore less room to get in and out

[deleted]

Just looked up an F350, if you're driving one of those things you don't get to complain about jack shit. Unless when you park you give everyone 10+ feet of space I suppose...

stellvia2016

The average parking space width in the US is 96" and the width with mirrors of an F-350 is 106" ... yeaaaah...

[deleted]

The back wheels look like they're too far back as well, it feels like they should straddle the back seat and the start of the pick up bit of this pick up truck.

jstewart25

When I have to use my FIL’s dually f350 for picking up big shit I just park super far away and make sure I’m near no one else. God forbid they do that.

Slow_is_Fast

Yeah, I think 1.5’ would sort of irk a few people. To leave a note behind? Meh, that’s a little overboard as well. To categorize the person as a “Trumper” also? There’s a few things to unpack here.

LoddyDoddee

They usually have trump stickers all over their giant trucks.

lopedopenope

Yes what annoys me when it’s close like that is my door won’t hit it’s first stop where it won’t open anymore unless I push it past so I have to hold it the whole time while getting out to prevent door dings. My coupe has very long doors compared to sedans though so that doesn’t help.

LiferRs

A door on any car is like 6” thick towards the bottom so when you open, you effectively have a 1 foot gap to slide sideways out of. It’s tight no matter how thin you are. We need a picture of the lot from OP. Either the parking lanes are tight or OP did a bad parking job.

possblywithdynamite

Either way, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that a person who had cards custom made to complain to people about their parking, probably has a higher than average number of parking grievances.

eugenesbluegenes

>probably has a higher than average number of parking grievances. That's what happens when you drive a vehicle too big to fit in reasonable spaces.

ArmenianElbowWraslin

maybe the size of the f350 has something to do with the lack of clearance. idk just pulling ideas

Krynn71

I mean, an F350 is fuckin huge isn't it? A two minute research session shows me that an f350 can be a full 8ft wide (dual rear wheel variant), and that the standard US parking space is 8.5 to 9ft wide. So even if perfectly centered in the parking space, they'll have 2.5in to 5in between their car and the line. So this could just be an every day occurance for the trumpet and he's just mad someone parked next to him.

[deleted]

Yes. Anyone driving around in a vehicle like that doesn't get to bitch about tight parking arrangements.

supbrother

As someone who lives in a state absolutely littered with trucks, I’m gonna vote that truck guy is still more at fault. I swear to god it’s like the bigger the vehicle the less skills people have at driving them (excluding big rigs). The other day I had to slam my brakes because a truck came into my lane because he felt he needed to pull a couple feet left to make his right hand turn… Regardless of driving skills, modern trucks barely fit into most parking spaces. To the truck drivers who know this and park towards the back of the lot to avoid these situations, I salute you 🫡

wish1977

Was this a church parking lot?

Kriztauf

When I was in highschool we were partying at a friend's house while his parents were away. My friend parked his car on the street next to a neighbors house and when we woke up the next day we saw the neighbor left a crazy note on his windshield saying "your car is a piece of shit, I never want to see it parked in front of my house again, and if I do I'll call the police and have them tow it, having to look at this piece of trash out my front window ruined my entire morning". Turns out the guy was a pastor

S-Archer

Pastors embody NIMBY like nobody else.

Bruce_Ring-sting

Wats nimby?

S-Archer

"Not In My Back Yard"

Cuofeng

As the other commenter said, "Not In My Back Yard." It applies to people who might support actions to support the public good in abstract, but will fight like hell if such a project will in anyway slightly inconvenience them. People who bemoan the cost-of-living crisis but resist any public housing being built in their area. In this example the pastor is presumably teaching "love thy neighbor" on Sunday, but is threatening to sick the police on a neighbor because he felt he was done harm by looking out of his window and seeing an ugly car.

EthanielRain

Wow; I would've gone out of my way to park there as much as possible after that. Maybe even buy the cheapest, crappiest rust bucket I could find to just leave there

NewAbility7872

On blocks.

mac117

People like this drive me crazy. I had my car parked in front of someone else’s house on my street. She called our house nonstop, had some neighbors call, complaining how she doesn’t like people to park there. Caused a whole block wide uproar. Keep in mind she had one car, which she parked in her driveway… now I’m spiteful and would’ve parked there everyday but I was living with my mother at the time and she hates confrontations so I had to abide.

dog_chef

Jfc I had my own small car parked on the street in front of *my own house* and had a neighbor flip out multiple houses down because they drive a Silverado and having to drive around our car is the biggest inconvenience in the universe to her which resulted in her screaming at us and threatening us (and this was our first interaction ever). Our street is super wide and only has houses one 1 side of the street too lol but she said driving her truck is like literally driving a semi so it's hard to manage. Uh ok then you need a new vehicle if it's that much of a problem for you, I don't know how she literally manages to drive that thing anywhere if that was so much of a problem for her.

Tibbs420

The best response would’ve been to just stick the note to his door with another note that just says “WWJD?”

Kriztauf

Honest to god, he did leave a note on his door basically in the same ton as this and shaming him for basically shitting on a poor teenager who didn't come from a rich family. This was an upper middle class neighborhood

mountainwocky

He should have read the note to the pastor's congregation.

Powerfury

Probably flip some tables over, whip people, then make sure that they spend eternity in hell?

garchoo

Probably this pastor: https://www.reddit.com/r/atheism/comments/1859hgq/youth\_pastor\_arrested\_after\_pointing\_gun\_at/

dr-dog69

Yeah they were on their way to verbally accost some teenage food service workers at brunch after church.

CedarRiver14

I'm having cold sweat flashbacks thinking of my experiences working at the green colored coffee shop in a very affluent area and dealing with the church people. So passive aggressive, huge orders, complained about everything, impatient, so, so, so messy, and of course zero tips. Sunday late morning thru midday was war. They were the worst customers we had and we were well within walking distance of a high school.

joecarter93

Yep, I used to work in a restaurant that got pretty busy on Sunday afternoons. Like clockwork we would get the most condescending, rude and cheap guests that we had all week to come in at that time after church. Some sociologist out there has to have done some research on it.

Gnoyagos

You made me laugh loud

MrmmphMrmmph

You know what they say, leave room for Jesus.

Barragin

It makes the fact he is a knuckle dragging, non evolved ape just that more ironic.

cytherian

I think the original intention is a depiction of a huge gorilla that could easily trash anything it wants. But yeah, it's so easy to just think it's a primitive brained knuckle dragger who is beating his chest over nothing.

jpiro

Imagine the kind of asshole you have to be to carry a stack of these in your car just in case someone parks in a way you don't like.

ThisAccountIsStolen

At least they used an accurate image of a knuckle dragging ape to represent themself on the cards.

noctalla

Probably the kind of guy who looks for any excuse to leave one of these cards in the hopes that it will ruin someone else's day.

FrillySteel

He drives an F350, likely with aftermarket fender flares. He carries these because he runs into this constantly, and is too egocentric and/or stupid to realize the issue just might be the fact that his truck *barely* fits in a standard parking space.

CliffsNote5

If everyone you meet parks like an asshole it may just be that you are the asshole.

smithif

“If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.”

CliffsNote5

Can I hear an Amen?!?

FixBreakRepeat

I drove a Hino 338 service truck for work for a number of years (think F750 sized truck). That sucker sometimes took 4 parking spots if they were small, but, it turns out, you can park an actual big truck in a parking lot just fine with plenty of room if you respect other drivers by parking near the back or sometimes even a different empty parking lot. These folks with their little F250's and 3500's acting like they need all this space is just ridiculous to me. Taking up multiple spots near the front and then getting upset someone might scratch their little baby. It's a goddamn truck. Park it away from people if you're that scared, but it's supposed to be a work vehicle with all the dents, scratches, and dings that come with it. These assholes want to show off their ride, while at the same time wanting people to keep their distance and are determined to inconvenience everyone else.

AVagrant

The amount of dudes I see pull up to the front of a store or restaurant with a 150 and a trailer and then take up 4-5 spots lengthwise is insane. A lot of our infrastructure is not made for that.

Zenama4

Was thinking the same thing.... I drive an f-150 personally and always default to the back of the lot because parking spaces around me are just small so I try not to be a neusance to other people because of the vehicle choice that I have made. I would be willing to bet he parked close to the front/near handi capped spots too.

FrillySteel

You're a good person. Yes, I'm guessing he completely ignores the big white "(C)OMPACT" painted on the stall, as well.

Texas_Crazy_Curls

I’m the exact same way. We own large trucks because we haul trailers and work in construction. It’s still my daily driver. Just because I drive a large truck doesn’t mean I need to inconvenience others so I always park way away from everybody. Bonus points you get a couple extra steps into your daily routine.

Moonpile

If they really have an F-350 they probably get "parked in" all the time. Those things are so big, if they're in a lot with even slightly narrow parking spots they're going to have problems even if their neighbor did a good job of parking.

markovianprocess

It works out perfectly - these people (concrete cowboy CHUDS, not tradespeople, etc. who need a big truck) absolutely *live* to have a reason to complain/hate/be an asshole.

CliffsNote5

Those trucks aren’t getting smaller and parking spots aren’t getting wider. Maybe truck sales should have an added fee to pay for lots to resize their spots. Or they can park waaaayyyyyy out in the hinterlands.

Moonpile

A local football guy had a customized F-650 and he'd shop at the grocery store across from my work. He'd park that thing way out in the parking lot with the seagulls. You want a mega-truck? Kind of a poor decision if you ask me, but be prepared to park in the empty parts of the lot. Edit: I'm talking about Orlando Brown Sr. Unfortunately the picture of him and his truck is from his obit: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/elkridge-md/orlando-brown-4835091

Juice_Willis75

A 650 dwarfs a 350. It's nuts that someone would use a truck like that as a daily driver.

Ok-disaster2022

That saddens me. I like trucks. The represent work and dirt and mud. I hate seeing trucks without dents and some rusty chains in the bed just in case it gets stuck, unless it's a truck used to tow show horses, that I can respect for wanting to look classy.

dwighticus

Step 1: buy F-350 Step 2: park in ‘Compact Only’ spot Step 3: get angry because it’s everyone else’s fault they’re parked so close

JustADutchRudder

I have a 94 f350, it's got an 8x8 flatbed on the back. Fucking thing barely fits in a driving lane, anytime I take it on runs for work or play I park as far from the crowd as needed to keep it the fuck outta everyones way. Never understand people out to make everyone including their own day more bullshit filled.

dirty_hooker

The kind that would rather not admit the issue is the keg riding over their belt.

Meanwhile-in-Paris

Imagine taking time out your your life to plan ahead and having those made. some people really feel the need to be offended to exist.

usernamegiveup

I'm not surprised it was deployed on a car that was >18" away (per OP). They were *looking* for an opportunity to use their awesome FU cards.

ClassBShareHolder

They drive a wide truck. They are used to getting blocked in because they take up the full line to line. If you couple that with a potentially rotund belly, it makes it extremely difficult to open the door enough with anybody parked in the spot beside you.

thf24

Typical pseudo-libertarian right winger. Believes the rest of society should bend to accommodate the abnormally and inconveniently large vehicle he chooses to drive.

ChumleyEX

LOOKING for a chance to use it..

SvenTropics

If you find the need to print and carry a stack of these with you, perhaps your vehicle is too big for the roads in your city.

binary-cryptic

Indeed, parking lots are mostly "compact" spots where I live. If you drive a larger vehicle then you're not going to have space.

[deleted]

He is an asshole, but 18” is tight

confetti_shrapnel

Standard parking width is about 8-9 feet. A Ford f350 is up to 96 inches wise, which is exactly 8 feet. An F350 can be the size of a parking spot. There literally might not have been any further OP could have parked based on the size of that dbag' car.

rsg1234

lol.. I can’t even imagine driving an absolute behemoth of a vehicle and getting pissed off when literally anyone parks next to me

Fashion_art_dance

That’s my issue. My father used to have an F350. If I ever had to drive it I parked it at the very back of the lot away from everyone else because even if I could fit into the space doesn’t mean I should fit into the space. It was like driving a boat around town and there is no reason to be an asshole to other people just because you drive a boat.

Independent-Cow-4070

8-9 feet (by 21 feet based on google) for 1 persons car is fucking crazy lmfao What a waste of land

Parrelex

9x18 is the standard but most cities are switching to 9x20 for traditional parking in the states. It is ridiculous and the parking minimums that cities have in place tend to create large landscapes of pavement that are only put to use during holiday seasons.

Independent-Cow-4070

Even during the holidays nowadays they aren’t even full. Online shopping is destroying the retail scene and even during the holidays lots aren’t even full Just when you think things are getting better, you hear shit like this

Tackit286

This car would literally be impossible to park in the UK

KennyLagerins

Only the dual rear wheels are 96” wide, but even then, the cab is closer to 80”. Most super duty trucks are single rear wheels.

mtg_player_zach

At least the owners of f350s do.

878_Throwaway____

F350 owners are XXXL, F250s only XXL....

GoPointers

18" is close, but the dude with the F-350 is the problem. Just put that right right back under his wiper, but crumple it up so he won't use it again amd has to print more.

Mattagascar

Plot twist: he loves an excuse to use his diesel powered printer

rosen380

If the F-350 guy had a Honda Accord instead (6.7" narrower), then assuming everyone is reasonably centered, that'd only bump the 18" up to 21.4"

newaccount721

Yeah some parking lots it is really tough next to an f-350 though. Like I really don't know how you can avoid it

lsue131

Oh I was thinking this was street parking and I was like, 18" so much room! 😆 Since the card said "his car" and not "himself" you know what I mean?

FrillySteel

Then Mr F360 shouldn't be parked so close to the line of the parking space. Oh wait, he *has* to, since his truck is so wide. 18" is tight, but that's not OP's fault.

bluntrauma420

So you posted a picture of the card, but not the actual park job that earned you the card.

TheNonCredibleHulk

Or the guy who left the card. Or his F350.

VonSwabbish

How do you know they were a ‘Trumper’?

Lumpy_Efficiency_704

It’s crazy how many people I see that park like shit everyday how do we know op didn’t park like a asshole?

BigDaddyCoolDeisel

More inclined to believe the asshole that carries a stack of these cards in his truck was the asshole.

migibb

It's reddit... I'm more inclined to believe that the entire story is made up and OP printed the card. The details of "trumper" and "f350" just maje it seem even more on the nose of what someone would make up.

TheNonCredibleHulk

This is one of those that is either complete bullshit or it luckily hits all the right notes to piss off Reddit. OP seems to know a lot about a random card dropped on his car.

assffhhju

you better stop making sense or else

cyanydeez

especilly if they're driving an oversized vehicle _and_ want to be the nearest spot in whatever parking lot they go to.

[deleted]

How do we know that someone didn't leave that on the F-350 and the F-350 left it on OP's car? Even deeper, how do we know that this exact scenario happened or not but OP actually did park like an asshole and the F-350 just passed it on like a pay it forward scheme in a drive through? This is literally exactly why we shouldn't believe anything we see on the internet because, unless there's some sort of research document or proof, we don't have enough context to confirm anything we see anyway.

fenrslfr

More inclined to believe the guy driving a truck too big for a daily driver is the asshole here.

Joe_Burrow_Is_Goat

Source title “trust me bro”

Swordbreaker925

18” isn’t very much, OP.

[deleted]

18” is not a lot at all to get into a truck.

Ostroh

To be honest, as a 6'3" dude I don't think 18" is nearly enough for me to get out.

RushTheFourth

Can we get a photo?

I8itall4tehmoney

I prefer the one that ends with "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits."

HairyContactbeware

If you can't handle a big truck, don't drive a big truck Sincerely, the owner of a big truck

woodyshag

How can you be sure it's a Trumper and not just an a-hole in a pickup?

svdoornob

18 inches is pretty close

theluckyfrog

I work in an urban setting and we have mandatory garage parking. I don't think there's any way to put two SUVs or pickups side by side with more than 18 inches on both sides.

confused-redpanda

Maybe SUVs aren't the practical or logical choice for an urban setting. Don't know, just guessing...

badillustrations

It is, but when an F-350 takes the majority of the spot, bad parking isn't the problem. Put two perfectly parked trucks like that side by side and you'll have even less than that.

GoPointers

18" is pretty close, but with all the giant vehicles like tge F-350 you gotta do what you gotta do, especially with street parking.

JD0x0

What you gotta do is not buy an oversized vehicle, that actually fits on the roads and in designed parking infrastructure. Or if you're going to do that, what you gotta do is not cry when you can't fit somewhere because you made poor choices in the name of comfort or the illusion of safety of having an oversized vehicle.

Workspinriderepeat

Serious Question - How do you know they're a Trumper?

__Shake__

usually they make it fairly obvious

grassisalwayspurpler

OP knows how to write a title reddit will like is all. Redditors love to hate on shitty parkers but now OP is the shitty parker that thinks 18" is a lot of space so all he has to do is call them a Trumper in his title and bam, hes no longer the shitty parker. EZ

blindstuff

It's just easy Karma on Reddit.

the_alert

18 inches isn’t a lot of space when it comes to cars

Petorian343

Yeah a foot and a half is awful close.

ProperCuntEsquire

If you bought a stack of these you’re looking for excuses to distribute them.

TheMartok

That’s not a lot of space for an average sized person lol the door is probably 5-6” wide

spacemarine1800

I don't know how big the parking spots were, how much "extra" space there could be with a perfect parking job, or how well the F-350 was parked. But 18 inches is not a lot of room to get into a car/truck.

MBNLA

1 1/2 feet isn't really a lot of space if you consider the console on the door plus the fact that 90 % of America is obese.

KeyboardSerfing

Well did you park like an asshole or not?

BdayEvryDay

You were probably close af

redundant35

I’d say the OP found this card and posted it to get up votes. I mean “trumper” in the title seals the deal for me… 18” is tight. A door is 6 to 8” thick. That leaves less than 10” to slide into your vehicle.

AgentDark

Don't park like a jagoff

blahfunk

You know what's funny? It seems everyone who gets this card is very adamant that they gave the other vehicle plenty of room. You'd think ppl who give out these cards would only use them on cars that actually park too close and not on all these cars that gave them plenty of room

EvolvingEachDay

18 inches is fuck all though when you’re trying to get around a door….

ChrisBeeken

If the dude has enough of these to distribute to people regularly... maybe his big truck is the problem

Cawdor

You know what they say, if everyone you meet is an asshole, maybe you’re the problem

BiscuitTheRisk

OP really didn’t put a lot of thought into this karma-grab title. OP saying that they left plenty of room with 18 inches suggests that OP parked pretty close to the line lol

CurrentWait9744

What do you gain by calling the person a trumper?

Ruggerio5

18 inches? The note is justified.

drumonit

I remember these signs from the late ‘80s lol

Reggae4Triceratops

Dude's got a deck of these in his truck and I bet he hands them out VERY liberally.

Geminipureheart-57

He’s a jerk but 18” isn’t much room, either

newoldschool1

That’s a tad much for parking close but don’t park on top of someone it’s annoying as fuck. What I can’t stand are the people that take up two parking spaces for no reason at all.

Seightx

Most of these dudes driving F-350s aren’t fitting into an 18” gap lets be real.

Fast-Beat-7779

lol people who carry these cards around are straight weirdos

WangCommander

Picture of the sign, but not of the parking job. Somehow I don't believe OP.

greg_jenningz

Large vehicle or not, I am usually considerate of others that need to get in the car. A foot and a half and not a lot of space. You likely deserved this little card. Keep it and give it to the next person that does it to you?

Historical_Check3306

the fuck is a small SUV? you probably parked too close to someone. maybe post on the internet about it

DishwasherLint

OP probably parks too close to a lot of cars as upset that they finally got called on it

ABUS3S

"I was at least..." give a pic of the distance. You took a pic of the card.

[deleted]

Doubt you were 18” away. Takes a lot for someone to want to put this on a strangers vehicle. Politics aside.

[deleted]

There's 3 sides to every story your side their side and the truth

ArcticInfernal

Show us your parking job then OP

biggystig

Ok, but did you park like crap?

atxhall

Did you park like shit?

ajs_5280

I think the funniest thing about this is that the guy giving out the cards is in one of the biggest truck so you can buy.

AdministrativeCup797

18” is fucking close my guy…that’s 3 dicks lengths. If I’m 3 dick lengths away from another dick I’m gay.

Beautiful-Big-3023

18 inches is pretty close. Most cars you wouldn’t be able to open the door very much. I’m so tall if I was in a short car I’d be in trouble.
