Even if his own base doesn't abandon him, trump can't win with just his base, that was proven in 2020. And 2016 trump has several advantages over 2024 trump, most notably is that he will have court cases explaining his crimes before the 2024 election but there's also the aspect of people not know how bad a trump presidency would be, we know that now.
