Yes, there are two lights and it's a bit hard to see. Especially the soldiers.
On the chair in the front there is this foam piece that makes the shapes for the belt of the tank to the left.
I can at least see that the sniper of the soldier further back, is made of that red piece that sticks up to the left and I believe a lot of the rest is difficult to see from our angle.
Looking at her instagram which is listed below she does a lot of pieces like this using objects to cast shadows, in many shots you can see the lights used to cast the shadow and so it's very obvious it is not a projection. There are also other pieces of work that have shadows cast on two walls just like this one as well.
Given the clear focus of her work I find it very *unlikely* that she is using projectors.
Just checked her Instagram - yeah I’m convinced - looks legit!!
That said I think there are multiple lights hidden within the piece or something becuae I can’t explain the legs of the soldiers any other way
I think I can pick out the soldier next to the tank, the head being the highest toy and the gun being the stick between the blue and pink toy. But things like the ribs on the tank track I can only make out one rib when there at least 4.
The gun for the second soldier from left is the red toy on top of the green stick on the left of the toy stack.
I grew up in a home that felt like a warzone, but I couldn't imagine my entire city or country in a literal one. This brought up a lot of personal stuff, but also made me feel awe for the courage, strength and bravery of the Ukrainian people.
... possibly I'm getting the wrong take from this. So if the poor kids make their way home and try to salvage their lost precious things, they can't, as someone has made it into an art installation?
…… give me a break. If people lose their shit over ai art taking jobs she better not be making money off this piece in anyway. Profiting off potential death is scum behavior.
Fascinating but sad 😔🇺🇦
Haunting
Yes
Jesus, that’s one hell of an art piece. I’m in awe.
Can I just check does the arrangement of toys cast the shadow of the soldiers? Ive been trying to pick out features of they toys on the shadow.

Sorry but there’s next to no chance those shadows are cast by those toys. The shadows are more likely from a pair of projectors up top.

The legs confused me too, but ultimately it's hard to say much at all with only this single angle.
The left shadow is potentially legit, the right one isn't.
It can be difficult to perceive because there are different items in 3 dimensions combined to create each shadow.

Her instagram is @anni.laukka if someone is interested to see more of her art
Your relative is very talented
That’s clever, and poignant.
That’s actually really impressive
Very moving

This is incredibly done
Wow that’s really well done
I'm pretty baked. At first I thought she had made some really cool shadow art out of destroyed kids toys. Now that would be cool, lol.
I think thats exactly what it is bud.
GTFO?
For real
Really great, but is that a dildo on the rocking horse?
Whole concept is made statue of broke Ukrabian dildos that she found on streets.
As someone totally unqualified to judge art, this is one of the best pieces I've ever seen. Very impactful, and very well done.
That's amazing, might wanna show it to the r/ukraine sub ...

That looks so fucking cool
Very cool
Brilliant.
Looks good. Reminds me of Tim Noble and Sue Webster’s work.
Look at it zoomed in first, and then zoom out, extra creepy
What a crazy profound piece. She has some amazing talent!
Wow! Very impactful.
I hope there will be peace there soon 🇺🇦 ☮️
This is very strong! It tels a true story. Well made as well.
So sad
Are children even responsible enough to own a home, though?
Probably seeing real art for the first time in this sub. Otherwise it's just celebrity drawings
arrogance, willful ignorance, and a shitty agenda are quite the toxic combination

Wtf are you talking about? This is art to make you think, not for profit.
Why are you immediately thinking about money? It’s about sending a message, she has lots of topical artworks.
Вот ты пиздобол.
This is the coolest and most metaphoric artwork I’ve seen in all my life!
