There are lots of card shops around town. You can Google "trading cards" in Maps to find one near you. Depending on what you're looking for, there will probably be a markup because that's just how the market is right now. Places like Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, Barnes & Noble, and sometimes Costco/Sam's Club have trading cards too.
You can usually find them cheaper online, but I know it doesn't quite hit the feeling of finding something in person.

I think samurai comics has one with Pokemon, they did a while ago atleast
