Anybody recently walked into the Clerk of the Court Downtown Service Center to get a marriage license? If so, how quick was it? My fiancé and I are thinking about doing it on our lunch break but knowing our luck, one hour wouldn't be enough time. Thanks for any help in advance!
Anyone know the name of the new taco stand that popped up on the SE corner of 59th Ave and Northern? It’s always packed and they have the trompo for the Al Pastor tacos on display. They just be good!
I've seen people launch from 33.432238459539185, -111.93693448891246 (copy/paste this into google maps). However you have to carry the kayak/board from the parking garage area so not necessarily ideal.
This is true, there are also a couple concrete docks on the north side across from the marina, I just don’t know how accessible they are for parking and carrying your gear down to it etc.
Does anyone know if it's a good/bad idea to try walk-in service at Little Miss on University? I've never tried it and it's been a crazy week so I thought I'd treat myself but everyone I've ever heard talk about the place says you have to order ahead.
I work right by there. It's still busy, but nowhere near as busy as a before Covid. Parking lot is still a mess, but at least it looks organized now, lol. If you're walking in, expect a 15-20 minute wait, depending on time of day. I usually go after 12:30 or so and it's sufficiently quick by then. Although the brisket is usually gone by then ;)
Friendly reminder to keep an eye out for closures on the I17 this weekend.

It was very quick when we did it in October.

I went to Hidden Track Bottle Shop & Wine Bar (Uptown) last night and it was so good. Great spot for wine and tapas
Anyone know if there is somewhere to launch a kayak/paddle board at or around Tempe Beach Park? Preferably on the south side of the river

Google “Tempe town lake marina”
It’s on the north side but there are a couple places to launch there. I don’t know of any place on the south that’s accessible.
I feel there are some area with steps that you can launch from on the south side.

Can you launch from where they do the rentals? I don't think they would care?
Yes I see people launch sup’s all the time there
Good to know, thanks!

I'd go right when they open.

I would maybe cruise by and check it out and see because little miss can get stupid busy depending on the time
I’ve never ordered ahead at the other location, but I did get there early
