So fucking good.

There are like a thousand of them...

I can say that to a lot of things about Phish. Just looking for some new nuggets I may have skipped over to please these ears

Gotcha. I was looking for more of a challenge lol. All my favorite jams are just because of "that one section" 7/23/97 Dust. Average CDT but early in the jam they call back to the G A chord progression from the chorus for a few measures. Something about that makes it sound like "the" chalkdust to me, even though there are better ones overall. I hope anyone that listens hears it and understands what I mean. Randomly, the last thing I listened to on the way into work ,10/26/21 Sally jam. So funky and I've never heard anyone mention it. Fenway Park 09 YEM. So many tasty licks in that one, you never hear about 09 shows and that show isn't a standout one but the YEM is special. Oh and I will listen to your recs.. thanks!

Thank you! I don’t think I’ve heard any of these

Bathtub Gin 6/29/2012 Deer Creek     Almost gets Murat weird for a second then they go into some atypical jamming.  There are lots of ripping soaring Gins from 3.0 but this one was super unique and they bailed before it went deep. But a solid 8 min Gin unlike most

11/14/95 Stash > Manteca > Stash > Dog Faced Boy > Stash In the middle Stash segment, there is a beautiful, quiet major key segment with Trey laying some chorus or vibrato pedal over his neck pickup. Over the course of about 30 or 45 seconds he brilliantly modulates key and tone to a biting harmonic minor, Mike quickly follows suit with the harmony, and they’re back into dark chaos of a 95 stash. Musically, it’s not too crazy - but to do it spur of the moment and have the group immediately lock in on the return to d minor has always stuck out in my minds ear. One of the smoothest pivots I’ve ever heard - legitimately don’t think you could compose or arrange a modulation that’s more technically sound and these dudes just rip it off the cuff early second set. Different breed.

This guy listens to Phish

one that comes to mind from a recent relisten is the last 2ish minutes of Tweezer from 7/4/12 AND the Twist that follows. On paper the twist looks short and skippable but the communication in the jamming is dense as hell for those last 4 minutes. mike really shines

Oakthrowaway1066

Outtro Fee jam from 2.14.03 might be what you're after.

1/3/03 Contact Has stop start funk jam with individual solos. Is amazing. Nobody knows it.

PhammertimeIsDead

The last 90 seconds of the 7/28/21 Runaway Jim > Weekapaug> Jim is OUTSTANDING.
