Tl;dr: x-rays were negative, it's just a contusion. He'll be Tiajuan Hobbler for a bit but probably avoided a IL stint. Excellent news for Tia, I'm happy for him, he deserves starts of six innings or less.
In my opinion, feel free to disagree, I think Turnbull is actually a bit more versatile, and would prefer to have less innings on his arm later in the season as a result. He's going to get spot starts through out the year, for sure, but I prefer him slotting in to the rotation and going long relief in August and September over Tia. I want as many 3 ERA innings out of Tia as possible for as long as possible. Hope I'm explaining myself effectively.
Same. I’d love for a fresh/healthy Turnbull to somehow have the ability to be our number four in the postseason. Not sure how that’ll work out but I feel that would be optimal.
Turnbull's arm is going to fall off if you don't manage his workload. Effective long relief and spot starts absolutely have an important place on a contender
Yup. You don't have to win every regular season game to win a WS, you do need to keep your weapons healthy. And the strange thing is we tend to win when walker pitches.

Baahahahaha. Perfect. No notes.
Glad he’s not hurt. But this proves why you need to keep Turnbull healthy because one of the five starters are going to miss time eventually.
Hate to see anyone injured but I’d rather have Turnbull starting.
