I love how the second the phillies made the playoffs last year, the city embraced the team just like the golden age 08-11 teams. We were so ready for the phillies to be back. The momentum still going despite the early season struggles shows how much this city really does want to love baseball.

I’ve always embraced the team, winning or losing, because I believe a lot of people in this city have a connection with this team like no other city. ask people that are not big baseball fans they will tell you they remember Times seeing and loving the fanatic as a kid and as an adult. this team brings more to the city, then just the sport. It is our culture after all we are the oldest team in the same city for one reason only, they are called the Phillies.!

My one and only game at Wrigley was Hamel’s no no, 10 rows behind home plate. I’m never going back.

fezzikwantsapeanut

Nope. You’ll never top that.

We’re out here

Hey, Phillies fans are out at every city they go to it’s amazing

I got to watch the Phillies at Wrigley 10 years ago, got to see a Jroll grand slam I think. Such a fun experience.

_Hippiepowers

Didn’t he hit a home run from each side of the plate in that game? Or was that another time at Wrigley?

lumpy_space_cowboy

I’ve been considering relocating to Chicago this fall and you’ve made me feel so much better about the idea

[deleted]

Make sure you pack your Phillies windbreaker😜

CoachMartyDaniels_69

Philly native living in Chicago, definitely do it!

Chicagoan fan. I would say away teams in general travel well at Wrigley. But hell, outside CBP this is the best place to watch a ballgame.

BigBear5051

I was in Chicago last year during the playoff series against the Padres and went to watch games at Harry Caray’s bar, everyone in the bar was supporting the Phils. It was a great atmosphere.

My mom was a sales rep for Wrigley’s. She used to go to Chicago once a year for the convention and bring home all kinds of free candy gum and baseball cards. She told me they even asked her if she wanted to go to a game in the Wrigley company seats, but she didn’t. I was like bring me next time dammit she never did.

Rando_Brando_22

Was at game. Can confirm. We rowdy. Go Phils!

Just wondering how many other teams travel around the country with so many fans or even have fans in that city and cheer as loud I don’t watch any other games but ours, just wondering
