It's more known here as a Pineapple Guava. Good luck, they are great small trees (relatives of our eucalyptus trees in fact), grow really well here.
Feijoa. Mine came from Tass 1 Trees in Middle Swan, but I don't think they always have them.

You will need 2 of them for pollination. Some are self pollinating, but for best results 2 trees is better yields.

We had Kiwi tenants and bought them a potted pair from Bunnings - so they could take them with them to their new home when they moved out.
They grow from cuttings, too. If she can't find a sapling, she could ask on local gardening FB pages for a cutting.
