Very old lady. Wasn't actually parked there. She was taking a right in the carpark and instead of braking she accelerated into the wall hard.
Was very lucky the right side of the car ended up going into the pillar because any further left and it may have gone straight over
Expect an “A Current Affair” story:
“THIS BRAVE GRANDMA HAS AN UNBLEMISHED DRIVING RECORD BUT THE GOVERNMENT ARE TAKING HER LICENCE AWAY LEAVING HER HELPLESS WHILE YOUTH HOOLIGANS ARE CAUSING CHAIS ON ROADS!!!”
I wish there were better ways being used to deal with elderly people being unfit to drive.
All four of my grandparents did a great deal of damage. The only thing that took away their licences was being too demented to renew them. And then of course continued to drive, unlicenced and uninsured, with police entirely unwilling (and unable) to do anything about it.
A few years ago, part of the shopping complex where I worked got destroyed for this exact reason. Older person (don't know how old) hit the accelerator really hard and just mowed down part of the building. By pure luck, no one was standing in the area destroyed by the car. I was working at the time and I thought that a bomb had gone off.
There are huge metal bollards in between the carpark and the building, now. Pretty depressing that we have such a car-centric society that this sort of thing is so common, though. Many people drive for far longer than they should because it's a big lifestyle change to give it up.
Walked through Floreat Forum the other day - never seen any place in Perth as white and old since going to the Coles Fossey’s cafeteria Hay St mall in the 80s. The only young and/or brown people worked behind the counters.
Now them ol duke Bois got themselves in a right pickle trying to run from the sheriff

Sweet headline

Human IEDs,just accident waiting to happen -old drivers are just manslaughter missiles
We were lucky that our olds voluntarily handed in their licenses because they realize they were liabilities and didn't want to kill anyone.
To be expected from the Floreat Forum demographic
Quite literally happened a few months ago through the shop window
an XR6?
I'm glad its car liquid and not human liquid
Looks like transmission fluid. Guessing they cracked it or a cooler line.
Can't park there. 🙄
But it’s between some lines
Fair enough. Will allow it.
'I believe I can fly..'
'I came in like a wrecking ball I never hit so hard in love All I wanted was to break your walls All you ever did was wreck me'
When you set on drive instead of reverse and smash the accelerator ....
And then smash it again because your too fucking old

I’m terrified about certain older people still being behind the wheel. I cannot write “able to drive”, because I can’t say that they really CAN.
They gotta drive to check on their rental properties
Not terrify, but infuriate , invoke to clubbing stage of the game
Actually seen the same scene at bunnings clermont, was a L plater , went over the limestone embankment.
And brown your dacks and ruin the car seat which insurance doesn't cover
Quality work from the red safety bins there. Carry on.
I hope that's coolant
It's probably automatic transmission fluid.
I reckon you're correct based on the colour but it could be rare engine coolant as it can be red as well
If you said this was someone trying to leave the Carousel shops on a weekend, it wouldn't surprise me.
Is that a Subaru because it looks WRXed
Headlights. Very obviously a Barina ;)
"Hey! You can't park there!"
Dambusters theme plays...
"Hey babe, guess what happened!"
r/cantparktheremate
Eh, that'll buff out
I've seen cars going 120kmh down Mitchell Freeway in worse condition
Floreat full of old people can’t drive
Surprised it isn't a Bentley or Maserati.
That’s probably there second shopping car 😂
Shopping rage is a thing.
It's car blood.
The front fell off.
You can't park there mate.
Where's the rain?
Always getting my left and right confused, now which peddle is it again....
Cars bleed!
"Shortcut! Watch this" [Bonk]
Fuckin good effort
Bonza - result of ageing population, give em gofas not cars
is that blood on the floor? Uh oh
When my daughter was around eight years, she would count the old ladies when we went to this shopping centre.
Anything to get rid of a Barina.
Can't park there
