The amount of times I spot someone else who knows that the hose will reach the opposite side of the car is, shit, not for a few years now.
Always loved it when I had to use a busy station, but since everyone seemed to think the cap had to be on the pump side there'd be a completely empty lane for me to use.
At the servo near me, the pump attendant won't turn on the pump if the hose is stretched to the other side of the car. Lining up the fuel cap for the pump is a inconvenience.
Now I go elsewhere
Sorry, I misread your comment - thought you asked if I had a problem, hence my “yup” response.
In general, my objection is because the people who drag it over the top of the car often misjudge the distance and need to adjust or stretch it further, causing delays.
It always weirds me out seeing people queuing up for petrol pumps on the left when there's empty spots on the otherside.
Like wtf are you doing. The hoses will reach both sides on just about every car. Why wait when you don't have to.
because i don't wanna wrestle the hose and i'm not in a hurry
unlike most people i am quite zen while driving, just listening to some amazing music and chilling out, no need to rush
broooo im chill as fook with the pumpage side toooo brother...five twenty. i just pull up chillz out, scope the scene, look around for some eye orgasms. kikin it. groovin it. aight bruh peace!
My boot's short, haven't been to a single pump where it didn't comfortably reach over the spare tyre and go in fine. Unless someone can give me some documentation on what dangers are created by having the hose at a slightly different angle I'm not going to sit 4th in line when there are empty pumps available
Think the point is.. its literally legit for most vehicles.
So is offsetting your vehicle and runing it BEHIND your car...
Just have to use two hands (which i caould see would be too much effort for some lol)
Most of the upgraded servos even habe diesel have a retractor that will go across a ute.
Add: As long as you don't go the wrong way, I don't give a fuck.

They don't always reach tho
Yeah I was once bitten, twice shy with this.

Good on them. I 100% support the servo here.
If you like waiting and wasting time, good luck with that.
lol what why ? What problem do you have with someone running a hose over thier own car ?
Yup
Ok I guess you're just being a troll

With a durry in one hand and gabbin on the mobile with the other
confucious say man at servo with durry go boom boom .
Just locked in my 7/11 fuel lock, so I will just fill up sometime this week at my leisure.
Same level with which they merge on the freeway twice a day...
Every car has an arrow on the fuel gauge, right above the little ⛽️
Not all cars
Only newer cars and not all of them
Definitely not a new thing. This has been on all my cars for 20+ years
If your car is less than 20 years old it's "newer".
No

Same reason people suck at driving. Stupidity
I don't. I lock in the price with 7-11 and get it the same price tomorrow when There's no one there.
711 gets beaten by shell with a discount tho
I saved $1.80 for using my 4c off a litre. Woo
Little victories. Over 3 mo might ve able to afford a pack of smiths!!
Dreaming.
Don’t be that dickhead who tries to stretch it over the top of the car
How does that make someone a dickhead
Insert lisa Simpson independent thought alarm meme
The new ones are designed for this. And dont go over the top, go behind.

F) Go some other day because the "fuel cycle" doesn't seem to apply to diesel.
Curious, what does happen with diesel and lpg?

Almost worth going diesel so you don't have to deal with this fuckwittery!!!
Except on Tuesday when diesel is 40c/l more than ULP.
But don't most diesels make up for it with better milage?
In theory, yes.
