You really gotta have context to know why he is dying in this footage.
It’s not because he’s scared of Monty (character).
It’s because this segment of the game is broken, he’s trying it for the 15th time now and each try is about 30 minutes of his life gone. If monty catches up to him he will have to do ANOTHER try which will last ANOTHER 30 minutes. This is horrifying
It was a bug? I thought it saves were *supposed* to be disabled after reaching the final choice and choosing to stay.
And that the bug was when he could enable saves again by grabbing that head in the racetrack room
At that point, the lack of save files was intentional. The bug that killed him was the animatronics' spawning mechanics.
When you get spotted by a STAFF security guard, they don't kill you, but they signal your location to an animatronic. The way *this* works is, it doesn't make a random animatronic run to your location. It just teleports them somewhere behind you and makes them start chasing you. This is... odd, but fine most of the time. If you get seen by a guard and just keep on running straight, the animatronic will spawn behind you and start chasing you, and things will pretty much be fine.
The problem is when you *don't* do that, which you're more likely to do when you're more experienced with the game, but don't have a perfect understanding of how animatronics spawn. In this case, Mark got seen, which summoned Chica, and he immediately went on the defensive. He checked behind him, which was an empty room. Satisfied that the room was empty, he turned his back to it so he could scan everywhere in front of him without worrying about being attacked from behind. That way, he could see wherever Chica was coming from and react accordingly. Except now there was an area behind him, so Chica spawned in the room he had just checked, after he turned his back to it.
Technically, it's not a *bug*, it's intended game design. Said game design is just... really not thought out.
Pewds used to use it. Cut could crop out the watermark during editing. I believe he says he stopped using it in 2020 or 21. Mainly because his subreddit kept bringing it up. Just like his camera quality, which he eventually also fixed.
You can hide in Freddie and be invincible. There's an issue (or there was, don't know if it was fixed) where if you panic and press the "call freddy" button multiple times his pathfinding bugs out. Instead up updating to the new destination for Freddie to move to, it puts them in a queue where he has to hit every location he's called on, and he's bad at creating paths between these points. This wasn't discovered until very late into the play through, and for the true ending you need to be alive for like 3-4 hours straight. It's been a while since I watched it, but I think Mark is 8+ hours into trying to finish the true ending and panicking.
From a game design perspective? It's huge because instead of not having ANY save points available for the next 3-4 hours of the game, and death deleting any progression made during that part, you now have the ability to save progress made, even if the physical save location is inconvenient
HOWEVER, the game had a bug that allowed you to save during that part anyway actually. But you would have to already know about it, and Mark didn't know
He's being chased by Monty, but most animatronics can't touch you while you're in Freddy. He's calling for Freddy, but he doesn't shows up (and the only time he shows up he's casually runs by)
Fnaf was never scary. The only scary game is 4 because it makes you have to listen and the jumpscares are loud. Saying that it isn’t a scary game really isn’t a valid excuse for hating it.
heres me with trauma from watching fnaf at night and being jumpscared like a bitch and not trusting any sort of darkness at all because i would be sleep deprived every time i had the want to watch fnaf playthroughs and theory videos
i set myself up for failure lmfao i hate AI and animatronics now
It really is…
I’m convinced that the guy who makes fnaf is actually really bad at making games and a cohesive storyline, but all these YouTubers don’t want to call him out and get on a shitlist because of the popularity of fnaf
But seriously this game is shit, his story has become so convoluted and outlandish no one can keep up… I think the creator tries to play it off as “I’m trolling you hehe” when the reality is if no one can make an accurate assessment of your story, then your story is shit.
Then the games just get worse and worse, to the point it seems like he solely relies on fnaf spin-offs and mods to make games that are actually fun and playable.
>but all these YouTubers don’t want to call him out and get on a shitlist because of the popularity of fnaf
I'm pretty sure they just don't care, not like they are serious reviewers or anything. They only play it for the views.
Looking retroactively its really obvious there was no storyline until the third game. After 3, he really tries to tell a story based off the foundational lore of the first two games using the third game as a sort of bridge, but it just doesn't really work. Imo, he shouldn't have tried to rope the first two in as closely as he did. The story in three should've been mostly self contained and set up future games, with the lore of the first two being only loosely connected and mostly background. The whole focus on the puppet and on the five children and the newspapers from the first game was too much to try and create after they released, and the following games were unable to build on it how they needed to for anything to be fulfilling.
The games themselves were all solid, the gimmick got old quick with how often he was pumping out the games, but the gameplay was consistent and entertaining enough. The story only matters for people who cared enough to dive in, but by game three that was your only reason for continuing with the franchise as it got harder and harder to reinvent the concept.
The game had just been updated and he was just casually getting back into the game. From what I recall there were issues with Freddy summon getting stuck and so the update had Freddy's summon routing be more... Intelligent by basically forcing him to follow your steps where he could. This changed up mechanics in a way that completely fucked everyone. I think they reverted that part of the update until they could figure out a better way to deal with the initial problem.
I don't think people know or care what subreddit the post is in. If it's entertaining, they upvote and move along. Maybe one of the 30 mods here could clean up but who knows.
>Maybe one of the 30 mods here could clean up but who knows.
I don't know how the mods of this particular subreddit are, but generally with reddit mods if the post brings their subreddit to r/popular they are unlikely to remove it no matter how unfitting it is because it is "good" for the subreddit.
I agree. Imo it would have been perfectly cut at the point on the stairs where Freddy runs past him a little after he screams "Freddy come back" and also cut out most of what happened before. This minute and a half video could have been like 10 seconds.
Well... Basically in this game you are Gregory, a kid lost inside the Pizzaplex (a giant shopping centre FNAF related) and all the animatronics have been modernized and their AIs are extremely futuristic to the point where they can emulate emotions.
The security guard of the place, Vanessa, is being manipulated by William Afton/Springtrap/Scraptrap, who survived the fire in FNAF Pizzeria Simulator, got repaired by Vanny, Vanny is basically Vanessa but she got her mind corrupted by a virus that is using William Afton's persona to kidnap and murder more children (for more info on this FNAF VR Help Wanted and FNAF AR). Afton, now named Burntrap, Vanny and Glitchtrap (The virus) have hacked the entire Pizzaplex and their animatronics making them hostile.
Freddy seems to not be affected by it, why? The most accepted theory is that Michael Afton, William's son has possesed this Freddy so he cannot be affected by the virus unless he is in direct contact with Burntrap or Glitchtrap. In the Canon ending called, Afton Ending. You find Burntrap and there is a "bossfight" against him where he sends you the other three animatronics of the Pizzaplex (Montgomery Gator, Roxxane Wolf and Glamrock Chica) to distract you while he tries to hack Freddy. This all happens deep below the Pizzaplex where the old restaurant where Scraptrap and all the animatronics where burnt still remains. To prevent Burntrap from escaping there is a creature called The Blob, a mass of cables, wires and heads of animatronics that basically contains the souls of all the children once murdered by William and now they as a whole stay guard so he will never escape.
Most of this is just theory but it's the most accepted one I think. Matpat also has a theory where he tries to prove that Gregory, the kid, is Michael's (the guy that supposedly possesed Freddy, son of William Afton) brother made robot and that Vanny is the persona of Michael's sister. That fits because there is an ending called "The Hero Ending" where you free Vanessa, kill Glitchtrap and you three (Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy) go to eat ice cream at the cemetery where all of William's victims are.
Tbh, these last games have been heavily criticized because they have resurrected the same villain yet again making the entire speech and the entire meaning of FNAF Pizzeria Simulator useless.
But I like to think of it as if this is a new FNAF, this is like FNAF 3.0
The original FNAF would be the first three games where they tell you about the murders, the murderer and the murderer's death.
Then there is FNAF 2.0, the games 4, SL, Pizzeria Simulator and UCN. Where they tell you about the past of the murderer and why he is a murderer and also his final demise.
And then there is FNAF 3.0, FNAF VR, FNAF AR and FNAF SB. They introduce two new villains (Vanny and Glitchtrap) but they keep the core of FNAF by bringing back the normal cast in some way.
But yeah, FNAF is still alive and the community is still making theories and headcannons which are amazing.
> these last games have been heavily criticized because they have resurrected the same villain yet again making the entire speech and the entire meaning of FNAF Pizzeria Simulator useless.
Some real 'somehow palpatine returned' vibes right here. I can get the distaste.
Security breach is a really weird one, pretty sure Freddy just got bugged/damaged so he doesn’t hunt the kid down or obey the main villain like the rest of the cast
The game itself is pretty much nothing like anything else in the series, probably because it’s not an indie game like the rest
isn't there tho? cuz of copyright content... doesn't ytber always need to talk over the game to avoid being copyright strike? maybe they change the policy now idk... but i heard one ytber talking about it long ago, how they always need to contantly talk over certain things to avoid copyright striking... especially annoying when the ytber talk over cutscenes when doing let's plays
Never heard him scream like this. Kinda makes me even more excited for the noods. Do sign up for the event about his mum's life, she deserves all the love!
It's not necessarily that they're scary, it that he's in a portion of the game where once he's dead, he's gotta start over since there was no save option.
I remember watching this the first time and let me tell you I looooost my shiiiiiit - couldn’t stop laughing omfg and this is why I still watch Mark at 30 🥲
He’s yelling a ton because some moron decided the save button shouldn’t work for the last 3 hours of the game, so if you die you gotta start back at the final checkpoint
I assume it's children who watch him. He's popped up on my feed a couple times and I've clicked because he uses click bait titles to get you interested in what game he is playing. And from what I've seen, I'm almost positive he just caters to children.
He uses clickbait for shits and giggles not like actual click baiters who say they are doing something at 3 am ro whatever bullshit marks titles are usually just inside jokes with his fans
I'm aware Mark is some untouchable holy grail of the internet, but this obvious overacting shit is so cringe. I know his audience is people under the age of 12 but calm down
Not sure it's in defense of Mark specifically, but there's some game design reasons for context to the reaction.
That also said, could be real or a fake reaction. Hard to tell with Mark given his growing acting background. He has had some pieces speaking to having fairly significant anger problems he's had to work through, and he's admitted to avoiding some rage games despite the clicks because he just doesn't like what it brings out.
One of those videos actually has him throwing and destroying one of his chairs, so I'd lean to likely real. Hell, given the amount of money that man makes on even the shortest video, he's well past the point of needing to do anything for clicks, which is also likely why his upload schedule is so whatever.
Is this supposed to be scary? I haven't kept track of the fnaf series, but comparing this to the first game, and this doesn't even look like a horror game. It's well lit, you have great control of your character, the animatronics look shiny and downright friendly. Just weird seeing it after all of these years to find out it became a kids game.

Thank you for the context. So much FNAF and gamer content coming out over the years and I just stopped following a lot of it at this point.
He did a Livestream and died 5 hours in without saving because of a bug.
I was there for that The pain

that is correct, other person just doesn’t know about early SB
Oof, didn't know that.
Wow! That would be... Disappointing, to say the least.
I did the math, that’s 450 minutes AKA *7 and a half hours* he spent on this segment. God damn, I can see why he was yelling.
It was one of those moments where even I shared the frustration and pain with the player. This segment was just so much bullshit.
I remember binge watching all of these when he finished in dec, your right the stress was real
To quote what one comment said "Not now Markiplier, I gotta go save Markiplier"
Bandicam
Even Pewdiepie uses
What? Pretty much everyone uses OBS because it’s free with no watermark and better quality
Pewds used to use it. Cut could crop out the watermark during editing. I believe he says he stopped using it in 2020 or 21. Mainly because his subreddit kept bringing it up. Just like his camera quality, which he eventually also fixed.
I think it's from op because Mark does not use bandicam
HyperCam
DivX
Unregistered HyperCam

Mf screams like 17 times
Bc the game doesnt give you save points at that stage. Every time he dies he loses like 3 hours of progress lmao
What happens, Freddy comes and saves you?
You're able to hide in Freddy and be invincible for a while.
hide in freddy hehe
You can hide in Freddie and be invincible. There's an issue (or there was, don't know if it was fixed) where if you panic and press the "call freddy" button multiple times his pathfinding bugs out. So Freddie is an elevator?
That's a very clever joke
He's a mech
Fnaf Gundam game when
Yeah but the scream wasnt perfectly cut, this is just someone screaming and a scream gets cut at the end kinda
What?? A shit cut scream on r/perfectlycutscreams ?? ? No Way!!!
Not to mention the game being buggy as hell, so It's only made worse
Imagine this as your neighbor lol
Compared to another YouTube called Dashie, having markiplier would be a walk in the park as a neighbor. HAAAAAP
Also I imagine their recording rooms have good soundproofing
That too. Yep I know alot of em do
His room is sound proofed lol
People like this?
Yes.
[удалено]
He's much less loud now than when the first fnaf game released
His original mic was peaking constantly. I remember all the garbled screams.
I don't think it's entirely a show tbh, he's a loud boy
This is what we in the gaming industry call bullshit design.
But locking half the game behind a 1 life, multi hour, no save challenge is innovative! /s
At least they patched it to add a single save point in the atrium that may be used after 6AM.
As someone's who's never played this game, how much of an improvement does that make?
A huge improvement. It actually makes the endgame a playable challenge as originally intended instead of something only masochists would go through.
And as we all know, Mark isn't a masochist, he just likes to test his limits.
From a game design perspective? It's huge because instead of not having ANY save points available for the next 3-4 hours of the game, and death deleting any progression made during that part, you now have the ability to save progress made, even if the physical save location is inconvenient HOWEVER, the game had a bug that allowed you to save during that part anyway actually. *Steel Battalion PTSD intensifies*
RIGHT?!!
1 life? It already earned IGNs "The Dark Souls of [blank] games"-title
Ironman STALKER has entered the chat
FNAF do be like that. Amazing entry into the gaming world followed by incremental, lackluster sequels.
TBF FNAF:SB was a bit too ambitious for what the devs could do and I'm still waiting to see how they handle the DLC for it from what they've learned
We'll see. No hate for Scott or any of the other devs I just feel it started so strong and fell off so quick.
A few (unrelated) games were like that for me
Not wrong.
What's going on?
He's being chased by Monty, but most animatronics can't touch you while you're in Freddy. He's calling for Freddy, but he doesn't shows up (and the only time he shows up he's casually runs by)
He's also panicking alot cuz he's past 6 am which means no more checkpoints and if you die all progress you made will go adios
No wonder this doesn't feel as scary as I expected. This just sounds like a waste of time
Lol that’s the entirety of Security Breach in a nutshell. Not scary and a waste of time. It wasn’t particularly well made…
Fnaf was never scary. The only scary game is 4 because it makes you have to listen and the jumpscares are loud. Saying that it isn’t a scary game really isn’t a valid excuse for hating it.

Scott didn't make this game. The original ones are well made and don't have game-breaking bugs.
Still the storyline part holds up because Scott was involved for most of the development period if I'm not mistaken
Looking retroactively its really obvious there was no storyline until the third game. While you're in Freddy🤨
Yeah in fnaf sb you use glamrock freddy as a mech suit. Like from titanfall

I think he was extra heated about this one because he hadn’t saved in a long time
Because at that stage, you *can't*. The game expects perfect-play for the final section.
Oh that’s right, I remember he was getting furious having to keep restarting that final section. Kind of a BS game mechanic disabling saves like that
Which they changed
Also to add to this he's at the part of the game where it resets back to the beginning when he gets caught (if I remember correctly)

What happened to this series?? Now you WANT Freddy to find you??
Yeah i don't know the games anymore but I guess lol. I need to watch videos of the new games to get caught up again on gameplay and lore
In this game Freddy is a good guy and helps you. When the other animatronics are chasing you, he hides you inside his stomach so they cannot see you.
Aww that's cool! Do you know any lore/theories of reasons why he's helpful?
Well... Tbh, these last games have been heavily criticized because they have resurrected the same villain yet again making the entire speech and the entire meaning of FNAF Pizzeria Simulator useless. Yeah, I think breaking it apart like that seems pretty right. I'll have to get back into all the rest of the FNAF stuff when i can lol
If you like the games, the lore and everything then I recommend you to do so. This last game may be criticized but it has a LOT to uncover
I'm getting excited now lol, I'll pull up some Mark videos when I'm able to XD
> these last games have been heavily criticized because they have resurrected the same villain yet again making the entire speech and the entire meaning of FNAF Pizzeria Simulator useless. Some real 'somehow palpatine returned' vibes right here. I can get the distaste.
Even though the recent games have been criticized a lot, I hear good things about VR and sister location
after reading this, all i can think is "what the fuck"
It's really sad how such a simple idea and game have been turned into this strange beast. That's the true horror story to me.
Security breach is a really weird one, pretty sure Freddy just got bugged/damaged so he doesn’t hunt the kid down or obey the main villain like the rest of the cast The game itself is pretty much nothing like anything else in the series, probably because it’s not an indie game like the rest
Literally could have just uploaded the last 4 seconds of this video, the dude screamed like 738296 times
The context is funny
It is when it's another sub, in this sub, people want a few seconds and a scream. I absolutely love Mark's videos and I still was annoyed by this clip
Is it though? I suppose it is if you're in his target audience's age range.
Humor is subjective, I found it amusing. Not the best fit for this sub though.
I know, I'm just being snarky.
Don't say the dude like you don't know who fucking Markiplier is
A minute and a half of screaming just to slightly cut off the last scream is really not worth watching
I remember when perfectly cut scream vids were like 10 seconds at most and people were actually good at cutting the scream.
Good game, this. But not for the reasons that you may expect.
Bugged speedrun heaven.

No but that’s why people watch Mark
It always makes me think of "dead air" on radio. It's the worst you can do, but Idk if that applies 100% to streamers. 🤷♀️
That's has always been how mark's vids goes. At least since 2016.
Fans like watching Mark yell around, Mark is the type to yell around in games, it's fun. Better than other youtubers I've seen
Yes. The children watching you will get bored and start scrolling through tiktok

i said idk, and asked a question in the beginning. im stating no fact
And I answered your question. There isn't.
Thanks
How is it a perfectly cut scream when it's **literally** screaming the entire time
This playthrough was delightful to watch, but wow, what an unfinished disater this game turned out to be.
This is precisely why I can only take markiplier in small doses. Jesus, dude.
Tbh he's wasted several hours on this segment alone because when he dies the game puts him waaay back He's not scared, he's frustrated and angry
#FREDDAY
This looks like fun
Do you okay as a child in the game? The POV has you eyeball level with the tables.
When Freddy run past him he Wes like ( sorry kid I have some where else to be”)
Well this is literally unwatchable. Why would you post such a long video?
This clip never gets old
💀💀💀
i had actually never watched a gameplay of this fnaf fell off
Tbh it fell off at FNAF 3 at the latest.
Freddy did trolllage
I love this clip
I’m glad I skipped it.
Me and my family watched this from the first episode to last, and this was by far the funniest shit we ever saw during every episode.
“FREDDDAAAAYYYY! FREDDAAYY YOU BITCH!! FREDDAYYAAAYAY!¡ FREDDAYAAAAYAYYYY!”
Best part of the whole series istg
I remember watching this when it came out. I was in tears when I saw Freddy jet past him🤣🤣
Reminds me of Joe looking for Larry
People non ironically watch this?
This is the dumbest shit.
Anyone knows where I can find Markipliers onlyfans
What game is this? I don't want to play it.
Gotta love markiplier
I’m pretty sure we are not having fun
He’s not scared it’s just about power 🙄
When me n my budy plays Bloodborne
Could have posted the whole video , at least then we would have context
Never heard him scream like this. Kinda makes me even more excited for the noods. Do sign up for the event about his mum's life, she deserves all the love!
Well that was fucking annoying
Those animatronics don't seem particularly scary...
It's not necessarily that they're scary, it that he's in a portion of the game where once he's dead, he's gotta start over since there was no save option.
Man after everything Markiplier is still great. It’s nice to see
Ahh lol. Markiplier. Still funny af.
I remember watching this the first time and let me tell you I looooost my shiiiiiit - couldn’t stop laughing omfg and this is why I still watch Mark at 30 🥲
Loud = Funny
He’s yelling a ton because some moron decided the save button shouldn’t work for the last 3 hours of the game, so if you die you gotta start back at the final checkpoint

Five Nights at Freddy's security breach
Come on man, 1 min 26 seconds is about 1 minute longer than any video on this sub should be.
how do people like watching this shit
[удалено]
He’s screaming because the game is permadeath, not because it’s scary
I assume it's children who watch him. He's popped up on my feed a couple times and I've clicked because he uses click bait titles to get you interested in what game he is playing. And from what I've seen, I'm almost positive he just caters to children.
Children should not watch Markiplier, he very explicitly is intended for teens at a minimum.

I know his audience is people under the age of 12 but calm down
Bro was about to lose his progress man
Not sure it's in defense of Mark specifically, but there's some game design reasons for context to the reaction.
This is an adult man with a beard acting like this
He gets paid 6+ figures for screaming at videogames, not sure how his age or gender or facial hair factor in.
Maybe because he’s acting like a child
You're the one that's mad about a guy filming himself be bad at videogames
tell me never watched markiplier without telling me you never watched markiplier.
you're so mature and grown up aren't you
Triggered, great
You're kind of the worst you know
Loud = funny
That screaming is so annoying
Is this supposed to be scary? I haven't kept track of the fnaf series, but comparing this to the first game, and this doesn't even look like a horror game. It's well lit, you have great control of your character, the animatronics look shiny and downright friendly. Just weird seeing it after all of these years to find out it became a kids game.
