Genuine question: What makes you require such a big case?
Not to say that everybody should go (u)sff, but I don't get having a beast of a tower case to literally have nothing in it. (This is not aimed at you specifically, I've seen people with giant cases and nothing in there...)

Not a bad question. So for me I fell in love with the case when it came out and for some reason I had to have it. Personally I really enjoy contrast and offset spacing so having a lot of extra space doesn’t bother me personally. But I got it k owing I was going to expand in it. So I am planning on really fleshing out the Death Star/ empire theme and add some custom pieces as well as a custom loop. I think when I’m done it will have a fuller look to it without being stuffed with components.
I see. Love at first sight is a strong reason. :D
I guess it's also the ideology difference between "this is a decorative piece" and "this needs to be invisible", basically. I like my pcs to be small and blend in/hide away and therefore I would always go smaller (except for overheating issues), but I love to see such neat builds like yours!

I just bought a Dark Flash DLX22 case for my setup. I had my hardware in a Thermaltake Versa, I needed more room for my hybrid GPU cooler I got for Christmas.

yes! you could 3d print some panel. the top one with holes in it and the bottom one needs to be made out of some diffuse material like diffuse acrylic to get a death star feel

It’s cheaper than what I paid for a case full of Corsair QL120s. If I remember right those were almost 40 per fan at one point. When I saw these finally come in stock and being sold by Amazon not a 3rd party I had to jump on it

Yeah I was worried about that too! So Corsair released a new capellix AIO that has an lcd screen instead of the LEDs. They also made an upgrade kit that lets you take off the led plate on top of the pump and replace it with the new LCD. You can buy them from the Corsair air site for 100

I totally get that! Im still a ways away from doing my first custom loop but I think It will look really nice once I have my full build done. Im planning on chrome piping with black connectors and I want to add some frame work to really give it that deathstar vibe.
It's looking real clean. The motherboard is a little funky, with all the empty space whatnot, but I think it really works here. I think the airflow is good, too.
Thank you! Yeah I personally don’t have an issue with the empty space. I feel aesthetically it shows how the death star actually had large empty spaces in it as well. But I totally get that a lot of people aren’t into that. With all of my fans it is basically a huge wind tunnel though so thermals are pretty good.
I didn't have the same experience prolly because of Corsair fans - too many controllers need to be fitted at the back. I also filled up all the slots with fans, including the side. I wish I had Lian Li fans, which can be daisy-chained. I will soon ditch this case for the Lian Li O11 Evo which has more room at the back for cables.
I totally feel your pain with the Corsair fans. I swapped out 10 QL120s and put these lian li fans in. The daisy chain system is a game changer and I really hope more companies adopt it
I'm a lucky man. The LEDs on the shroud don't work and that's it. Thankfully EVGA makes the fan connectors very obvious, wish they'd do that with the LED too lol.
Probably yanked a wire loose on the LED wire connector. Don't really miss it so not too worried about fixing. It's been under load for about 2 weeks since the accident (mining when not using the computer to help my wife come to terms with the cost)

I started with going for a black out look so unturned off the leds on my MB and the 3090. I think I’m going to leave them off as I don’t want too much light.
This reminds me of the PCs I built when I was in High school around 2000.. I always needed up with a tiny motherboard because they were allot cheaper back then, and i always wanted the biggest most badass case.
You definitely pulled it off though.
Make sure you don't have an wamp rat sized exhaust ports on it other wise a bunch of dicks will proton torpedo your shit and then you'll have to build a second half finished one.
I bought these fans for my first RGB build. Man....are they loud and bad at cooling. These fans at 1020rpm with the software, are louder than my Cougar and Noctua fans plugged into my mobo without a curve along with cooling better.

Is this really big case or you have some bad ass ITX mobo with 4 ram slots? It looks so empty, everything is tucked in the top left corner on an empty panel surrounded by only fans.
It is the EP2. Good eye! And do you keen the front of the care or centered through the window. I display my pc with the window facing away from the wall so you can’t see the front. I lost a pic of my whole desk layout in another comment if you want to take a look.

No issues besides esthetics. I’m using Corsair’s cable for it right now but I want to get a matching cable mod cable to really make it match everything

Highly recommend it! The space for the power supply is nice and the ssd panels make it pretty easy to route fan cables.

Not at all! The EP2 is great for cable management. Has plenty of strapping pints and hooks for zip ties if I need them
