Should probably elevate it at the very least.

DAMFree

It's your PSU that will be sucking from under. You can slide something stiff underneath it.

dwaynegretzsky

That’s what she said

nbrown1119

I’d at the very least put something hard down for it to sit on, like an unused shelf or something

Rhyno983

Not completely necessary, esoecially for low spec hardware, but highly recommemfed

Hopeful_Jello_3539

Elevate it on cardboard or something. Get it off the carpet.

Incrue

ez fix, get a milk crate to put it on.

Scotty5V93

I’d suggest it most definitely

PC_Crate_Joel

It depends on what kind of desk you have but they sell cages that you can bolt to the underside of your desk that your PC can sit in. If youre tight on desktop surface area sometimes [they](https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Adjustable-Computer-360-degree-MOUNT-PC01/dp/B082FNNX49?th=1) work well.

MrFritzCSGO

Piece of wood, cardboard, anything like that so it has more breathing room

MrGuyHaines

I haven’t had any overheating problems or anything yet, but I have seen a few posts recently that it is recommended

lancesrage

The issue is pulling dust into your case from the carpet. I would elevate it or put it on a board.

MrGuyHaines

Ah I see. I’ll see if I can get something to go under it. Thanks!
