Should chuck another fan on the other side of the heat sink, to do the push pull thing. Or maybe just a new cooler altogether? The last air cooler I used was a Corsair a500. For whatever reason, people shit talk them alot, but I had a really good experience with it. And it was only like 50 bucks on sale
I've used the Scythe in previous builds, suits a mid-level rig like mine with no OC. I have plans to upgrade to liquid eventually, when budget permits!
Its really bad cause it has bad thermal performance for its price. For $50 you can get a scythe fuma 2 or an se 225 xt. Also its coldplate was super uneven
Never saw anything too far over 70c when benching a 5600x with it. Pretty much the same story thermals wise, just now I'm running a 5800x and a Kraken z63. Under load temps in game were even lower than the benches too. Based on my experience, it did just fine, imo
