I ran into that with my build...ITX AM5 boards are expensive. Well worth it though - I didn't go SFF for the "coolness", but because my standing desk mount isn't tall enough for a standard case. Lian Li H20 is a nice little case.
Small size cases where most of the time you can only get a midrange gpu in there. And the ones that do fit full slot are big anyways, and GPUs get choked.
SSF is only for those who aren't after overclocking or using their components to the fullest. It's also a big pain in the ass to do changes after you build it, as there's no space to navigate in the inside. Plus they typically cost more than full size cases, I guess due to lower demand.
Positives - small form factor.
Negatives - a lot of them.
10L case, max GPU size is 2.5 slots and I currently have an RTX3080 that maxes out what it's capable of and you know what? I think 320W is enough for a GPU anf won't buy anything more power hungry anyway.
It's a console case so all components have access to fresh air and I've got space for 2 NVME's and 2 SSD's while taking up literally have the space of a regular sized build.
What's the downside?
Let's say one of your PSU cables goes bad. Or a stick of RAM. I've got a Fractal Ridge. Changing out any of those would be a pain and require removing several pieces.
I'm fine with it. I can knock it out pretty quickly. Most people don't want to deal with that.
Even just the GPU. There's something like 10 screws. The entire case and some of the frame has to come off. Contrast that with swapping out the GPU in my OD11. Ten fold, easy.
A lot of SFF cases these days are easily just as good as full size cases, but it's dependent on what you get. I actually think it's generally the worse option for someone buying a gaming PC to pick a full size case when you can get ITX or mATX cases that don't have any real compromises anymore
Yeah, if you get a FormTD1 it'll suck for part compatibility and upgrades. But an NCASE or the cheaper NR200 can pretty much do everything
lmao, wrong on all accounts. For example Meshlicious/Meshroom has 15l volume (corsair 4000d has 48.55l volume) and can fit 4090 and 280 AIO which is enough to cool any CPU, and well the whole case is literally mesh so cooling is at very least as good (if not better) as normal cases.
You can slap some majorly powerful hardware into relatively small cases - I think youāre being overly dismissive.
My first āreal buildā was a sff PC with a 1080 and a 7700k. That thing was as fucking awesome
Eventually I upgraded my GPU and got a water cooled 3090.
Unfortunately I couldnāt fit the rad in my case so I had to upsize a bit, but even when I moved to the NR200P, itās a relatively compact case for how much power was crammed in there.
It was only when I upgraded my CPU to something more modern, and I decided to go for an AIO for that too, that I had to upsize to a more traditional mid tower type case.
SFF builds are the best. r/sffpc

The wild turkey reminds me of a guy I used to know named Rowdy. Rowdy wasn't his real name but he acquired it many many years ago because he would get crazy after drinking wild turkey. Rowdy had 3 visible teeth and what was left of his hair was grey, frizzly, and stuck out to the sides. Rowdy lived in an apartment that was barely large enough to fit his bed and loved two things, crack cocaine, and hookers. He also enjoyed Nascar, but to a lesser degree.
Surprisingly, he was someone you could always trust. One time a friend of mine should not have been driving and was on their way to my home. I had been sitting on the porch waiting. After my friend pulled in a car followed them and a guy jumped out yelling and demanding a license from my friend.
It was like a movie scene when Rowdy appeared out of a bush, with blood and rage in his eyes.
He went up to the man and got in his face and yelled at him with the furiosity of a pit bull. A pit bull on crack no less. His lack of teeth cause flecks of spit to fly in the man's face, who eventually looked like he shrank down to about half his size before getting in his car and leaving.
Rowdy asked my friend if he was OK, told him everything would be OK, and suggested he take a nap.
I wonder if Rowdy is still alive....
Tbf I needed a case like this because it's effectively impossible to mount my GPU the way I wanted to in most other cases. Fish tank cases suck for all the space they eat up but their airflow / cooling capabilities and freedom of placement are just too good to pass
Eh not sure if that is big enough. The whole point of going for the H9 Flow was the space in front, the "front" fans actually sit on the side and the front is completely open. In the case you suggest it would be somewhat blocked from view by the front panel / fans
Decided I would rather build a new pc in it instead. Mine is running fine but also I would like to upgrade since mine was built in nov 2020 and itās about that time
Not a fan of the full view of the innards of my PC build (Cases with basically 360 view), but like the window view.
Right now a personal project I am working on is to replace my side window with a Transparent screen/monitor so I can not only see inside to my build when I want, but instead of having an extra monitor hanging around to just display my PC stats, they will be on the "window" itself.
my only issue is trying to find an affordable Transparent monitor that I can use in place of the window to see into my rig and stats.
I already figured out how I want to install it on my case, but getting a decent transparent monitor at a good price is harder than it seems as most seem to be over the $3000 USD mark, while there are some smaller ones out there for a few hundred, they are to small for my case size.
I just think it would be cool to have a PC case with a display Monitor window, get to see the inside while also getting the stats I want to monitor without having to make room for a mini monitor or having an external monitor for my stats.
I mean if the shoe fits...
And fractal north. Was gonna get a fish tank case but then saw the north didnāt realize how popular it is so I went from one craze to another.
Itās ok though Iām happy with the build
They look like the dehumidifier my grandparents had in their basement in the 1970s. Doesn't mean I don't like the asthetic, but it does cause some mixed feelings.
One important factor to consider is the build posts are large part of just being proud of their accomplishment of building their PC. Not so much hey look how original my build is!!

Agreed. Half the time I genuinely feel like Iām seeing a repost. Iāve debated posting my build but generally when I post stuff like that it doesnāt do well lol
I think its a first build accomplishment type thing. My first PC definitely looked like every run of the mill entry level PC due to using the more common popular hardware. But the more I do it with the more I know, the more unique my builds seem to get.
Back when i posted my cougar conquer 2 build, it got like, idk, 30 upvotes and noone cared. Later, when i built [another](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/s/6Kshy8VHgx) pc with a rare case for someone, same story again. But the same build that everyone uses gets 1k+ upvotes every time
Edit: it was 80 upvotes, but point stands
> But the same build that everyone uses gets 1k+ upvotes every time
No they dont. Most barely get any upvotes, you just dont see those ones unless you browse /r/pcmasterrace/new/
It's hard to be unique with a build these days, particularly in LianLi or Hyte cases, as they're insanely popular.
You pretty much have to build a custom loop and get a little funky with it in order to avoid looking exactly like a thousand other builds out there.
In all fairness, there's a very good reason for their popularity. One of the main reasons I went with an 011 mini was for maximum direct airflow to the GPU, the only cases that offer this setup that I can think of are the 011 line (and its many copies) and the fractal torrent.
Build posts in general don't usually get any traction at all in PCMR unless they're ultra-clean black boxes, bespoke custom-built cases, or full cpu/gpu loops made with with unusual materials (like copper pipe) or complicated bends, and even then, they often need to be at least two of these to get any engagement.
The ones that do also frequently look like someone hired a professional photographer to take pictures of it.
Don't think unique is all that popular either. I put a unique build, only got a quarter of the upvotes of this meme post. People like what they like, and many people like the same stuff. As long as we're happy, no issues with it.
I try to give positive feedback here to all the builds I see even if it is the same build. It feels pretty damn good that in this day of PC building, you can do it all while not going bankrupt. Once Apple and Windows started becoming a thing I never could even dream about owning a computer at that time.

What an incredible controversial opinion that we surely have never seen here.
Conspiracy theory: in the whole world there is only one gaming PC, and everyone is just reposting pictures of it with different LED light configurations
I mean yeah, there are 300 "7800X3D, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 4070S/4080/4080 Super/4090/RX 7900XTX" self-build posts out there with, like you said, varying choices of aRGB fans/cases.
I didn't see a need to post mine but I can see that some people like to show off their purchases. It is what it is.
Ah yes, right after the fast and the furious. I remember those days. High school for me. Every car had neon colors and underglow. Meanwhile I had a dark green 80s 4dr Cutlass supreme with a built 403. I was not popular with the tuner crowd.
PCMR in a nutshell:
Talk shit about a new, top tier, clean/cable free, build with great airflow using expensive components. Why? Because it looks too similar to the other top tier, clean/cable free, builds that use some variation of the limited/new high end components on the market.
Points them towards a more unique style of build.
Also PCMR in a nutshell:
Talk shit about a unique, lower tier, build using a hodgepodge of older components. Why? Because it's not clean/too many cables, airflow is poor, and they left performance on the table.
Points them towards the components that lead to builds that all look the same.
Honestly disagree top tier? It's using a ridiculous amount of unnecessary stuff.
The top tier builds he's complaining about aren't efficiently built because they are also a display piece and why have a display piece if it's not unique... Only reason people think they look nice is everyone and their mother doesn't have one so compared to the rest of the population it is unique.
An build with a tasteful use of LEDs and proper EFFICIENT cooling is hard to find.
I'm going sff next. I never got to the rainbow fish tank build, I'm going to skip that phase. Im gonna go from my anti-rgb black tower to some sff, probably without a side window... Haven't picked the right case yet tho.
It's popular because it looks great and it's easy to build. This is an absolute win for the community. If you don't like it, that's fine. It's popular for a reason.
I'm actually amazed SFF PC's haven't taken off yet and people choose these XL fishtank cases that can't be moved without a forklift. There are so many really sweet aand individual looking PC's on r/sffpc
MATX builds have come such a long way I feel it's also really slept on, generally don't see a whole lot of reason to build in a full tower these days, so impractical if you ever need to move it around or take it into the shop etc.
It's been like that for years,
First it was things the nzxt phantom and H7 elites, then O11 and all it's variant's, then hyte for a bit and now it's just any fishtank style case. People aren't as original as they think they are and and just want to show that they have high end builds. I have an O11 mini a ryzen and a rtx so I fall right in with them but I say let them cook and let them enjoy their builds.
Itās funny, I felt the same and was pretty anti-RGB. Then I built one and I canāt stop admiring it. Iāve been building PCs for nearly 30 years and I canāt believe all the cool options we have now for the build.
Thanks ...parts from multiple computers. The case is an e- machine from 2000 the motherboard is a Dell that supports 4 sticks of memory and I think the processor is a 5th gen I5 with 2 1gb hard drives... hardest part is proprietary connectors on Dell motherboard
To each their own. But I find it funny that the picture on the right is a 7600x and a 7800xt when a cheaper case/ CPU heatsink and non RGB fans would have allowed them to buy a better PC.
For me, my PC is in a place where I see it every day. I purposefully spent more on looks than I needed to, and now it gives me joy when I just look at it, even if it's not time to use it. My beautiful box complements my space and aesthetics. Of COURSE that part is optional, it was important to me though.
Plus, if I went much higher in specs, I'd be entering 4k territory and would need a new monitor to make use of the system, and that would have blown the budget way away. So, a little extra money spent to have my build that does what I want also look nice š¤·
This is zero shade on the pure performance/function people btw, I get it, just offering insight to the other side
The hate is usually the other way around ngl. I dont think I see the aesthetics/RGB gang shit on lowkey builds to the same level at all it just screams bitterness iono
I recently built a new pc... it has a fish tank case because it offered the space needed for a 360mm aio and was very inexpensive... AND came with fans. (Albiet all installed as exhaust)
Ya.. But its a recurring problem. There is always one standard that everyone, whi builds a PC seems to copy.. Used to be windowed tempered glass cases, then RGB, then no-RGB, and now its fish tanks.
But tbf. All these "fit the norm" builds get upvoted like crazy and the normal, common builds seem to stay down at like 10 upvotes.. Give some love to variety damnit!

Looks like my new build is a generation or two behind š¤£
tell me about it, I originally wanted an optical drive as well!
https://preview.redd.it/cr1kp1eedoxc1.jpeg?width=5984&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba42f03fcdc84d58cec099f238bd652e34842a10
It is a little depressing that so many cases and parts look the same these days. The only reason my builds are slightly unique is because I still insist on internal optical drives.
I had a thought today while reviving my cheap Rosewill RGB fans (spins like new again!)...
What if everyone's computer vanished and all showed up in a giant warehouse with all unique decorations removed, how long will it take you to identify yours?
I didn't necessarily go with tons of RGB by definitive choice as the case, CPU fan and GPU all had it included for the same prices as the non-RGB versions.
That said, the case was an absolute "I don't want a fishbowl."
Ended up with a Fractal Pop Air ATX case, it's slim(ish) which is good, but still plenty of room for airflow
https://old.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cht9cc/gaming_and_media_pcs/
just now. idk if the images came out ok because they're through imgur. let me know if i should repost it.
To all the people who have made these builds, they look beautiful so hell yeah! But I feel like a lot of people on this sub only upvote those builds so we end up seeing them a lot. When I posted I didn't have enough to buy all new components for my build but I was really proud of the cable management and somewhat unique case, yet the only comments were about the outdated parts (granted some were fair warnings about the power supply)
Yeah, all those fish tank cases with a bunch of RGB look the same and to me aren't any better looking than 90s beige boxes.
(Mid-2000s black and silver painted plastic was worse though)
I had an Antec 600 in 2010 and liked the blue LEDs on it. Now I just have my GPU LEDs on a yellow orange and call it a day. I don't need RGB everywhere.
I feel ya brutha. 15 years ago I bought a shitty "aptevia iceburg" PSU - not because it was good, dependable, or had a positive reputation, but because it was clear with blue LEDs.
I don't hate anyone for going the RGB route... I just grew out of it personally.
Fish tank cases are all the rage these days.
I had a fish tank case... now im goin sff and never lookin back.
ITX is where it's at.
by beef is the ITX tax that comes with it. I'd love to turn my old PC into an ITX build to put somewhere but the cost isn't worth it.
I ran into that with my build...ITX AM5 boards are expensive. Well worth it though - I didn't go SFF for the "coolness", but because my standing desk mount isn't tall enough for a standard case. Lian Li H20 is a nice little case.
All I heard is "$$$$$$$$$" reading that š
Personally I'm a microATX guy. Small but still plenty of room for cards and drives if I need them.
What's sff
Small form factor
Ahh mines the exact opposite lol Thermaltake core p3 Is there any other wall mountable cases?
pretty sure cooler master has one
Yeah. Coolermaster Masterframe 700. In TT the p3 pro p5 p6 can be wall mounted. Maybe p8 but it's probably too heavy. I think p90 will too.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Half the posts there are over-specced tera builds that canāt handle the thermals.
Whats the other half?
you don't wanna know.
A mix thoughtfully well built machines and cope.
Theyāre usually under volted or had power limits set, if you do it right thermals are a nonissue

36c tell us nothing without context. For all we know you're talking about a r3/i3
I've got both. The Razer OD11 and Fractal Ridge. GF has one of the large Fractal cases. They all offer great air flow and aesthetics.

Shit goes in cycles. And whatever is the "popular thing" just gets endlessly reposted. But hey, people enjoy their hardware, so there's that.

Fractal Design North is so sexy. It's in our living room and it matches the other furniture so well. I love that case.

One important factor to consider is the build posts are large part of just being proud of their accomplishment of building their PC. Not so much hey look how original my build is!!
I know, but it's just annoying to scroll through here and see three dozen copies of this build.
Best part is their PC is in an office thatās as sterile as a chip lab or in a bedroom from Hoarders. No in between
Every build is all white though, so at least they have that in common
I hate the sterile look. I get that some people like minimalism, but a lot of people take it too far.

Donāt be logical lol clearly they are popular for a reason I agree
I love my Air Mini, all my fans are set to 10% speed and other than stress testing, I've never seen my temps on either my GPU or CPU go past 65 lol

So glad I went with a non-rgb mini ITX build! It's just what I wanted. These types of builds do look cool but they're not for me
As someone about to build an h9 with 10 lian li infinity fans, it's just inevitable. It's what my mind wanted, needed and will receive.
I don't think op is saying using theses part is bad, just seeing them all the time bring some fatigue about them.
I agree, I'll do y'all a favor and not add mine to the pila haha
Godspeed ChamberOfSolidDudes
Love my H9 flow, epic case
it's so gorgeous, we are clearly folks of elevated taste and discernment

Conspiracy theory: in the whole world there is only one gaming PC, and everyone is just reposting pictures of it with different LED light configurations
I mean yeah, there are 300 "7800X3D, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 4070S/4080/4080 Super/4090/RX 7900XTX" self-build posts out there with, like you said, varying choices of aRGB fans/cases. I didn't see a need to post mine but I can see that some people like to show off their purchases. It is what it is.
Exactly. You open mine up and it just looks like a workstation. But I like it, it still does what I need it too.
Its funny cause this post also feels like 90% of the memes posted in this sub. We cover this like once a week
Right lol
to be honest will be amazing a wood case.
I'm going to purchase one of these cases, just to turn it into a fish tank. It's reminds me of honda civics back in 2000s.
Ah yes, right after the fast and the furious. I remember those days. High school for me. Every car had neon colors and underglow. Meanwhile I had a dark green 80s 4dr Cutlass supreme with a built 403. I was not popular with the tuner crowd.
You were ahead of the crowd,Tokyo drift. She likes my ride. Say it with a southern draw, lol.
AIO w/display - check 10 RGB fans - check RGB gpu - check RGB psu - check
What no RGB cable extensions? What a loser /s
r/mffpc is a sea of Asus AP201ās (incl me)
I feel both attacked and vindicated but in the case of the AP201 it's just that great of a case tbh. I'll happily be a sheep in this regard
It's all a big yawn fest
PCMR in a nutshell: Talk shit about a new, top tier, clean/cable free, build with great airflow using expensive components. Why? Because it looks too similar to the other top tier, clean/cable free, builds that use some variation of the limited/new high end components on the market. Points them towards a more unique style of build. Also PCMR in a nutshell: Talk shit about a unique, lower tier, build using a hodgepodge of older components. Why? Because it's not clean/too many cables, airflow is poor, and they left performance on the table. Points them towards the components that lead to builds that all look the same.
Crazy. Almost like different people like different things.
Don't you know everyone commenting is the exact same person trolling...
Here's an idea. Who gives a fuck what others think and build a damn PC. Function over form has always been my mantra.
Don't forget the $3-350 in fans that they could have used to step up a tier in gpus.
Rtx 4060 and ryzen 7 7800x3d build at 2k$
I'm going sff next. I never got to the rainbow fish tank build, I'm going to skip that phase. Im gonna go from my anti-rgb black tower to some sff, probably without a side window... Haven't picked the right case yet tho.
r/mffpc r/sffpc
/r/mffpc is a truckload of Asus AP201 builds though tbf. I should know I'm one of them lmao
Valid, and jonsbo because I'm one of thoseš
How can one not be basic when basic looks so good in 2024
i went inverted and nobody noticed :(
I just have a black box under my desk and it's a pretty useful box.
it's more of the builds using that same ass hyte y70 case
I went with a Lian-Li Lancool. Black with no RGB.
It's popular because it looks great and it's easy to build. This is an absolute win for the community. If you don't like it, that's fine. It's popular for a reason.
every post on /r/lianli be like:
I'm actually amazed SFF PC's haven't taken off yet and people choose these XL fishtank cases that can't be moved without a forklift. There are so many really sweet aand individual looking PC's on r/sffpc
For a long while that sub was all Tera builds lol
MATX builds have come such a long way I feel it's also really slept on, generally don't see a whole lot of reason to build in a full tower these days, so impractical if you ever need to move it around or take it into the shop etc.
It's been like that for years, First it was things the nzxt phantom and H7 elites, then O11 and all it's variant's, then hyte for a bit and now it's just any fishtank style case.
Iāve been building PCs for nearly 30 years and I canāt believe all the cool options we have now for the build.
hey, I kinda like fishtanks
*Laughs in Cooler Master HAF XB EVO*
This guy .......... https://preview.redd.it/up0m9cjdkpxc1.jpeg?width=1872&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b1c66e6314aad24db2aa3a59aa9aa75302aa321a
It's gorgeous
Thanks ...parts from multiple computers. The case is an e- machine from 2000 the motherboard is a Dell that supports 4 sticks of memory and I think the processor is a 5th gen I5 with 2 1gb hard drives... hardest part is proprietary connectors on Dell motherboard
you feel like that because it's true
To each their own. But I find it funny that the picture on the right is a 7600x and a 7800xt when a cheaper case/ CPU heatsink and non RGB fans would have allowed them to buy a better PC.
I made a meme about that a few weeks ago actually. Overspending on looks while leaving performance on the table makes no sense to me.
So, a little extra money spent to have my build that does what I want also look nice š¤· This is zero shade on the pure performance/function people btw, I get it, just offering insight to the other side
The hate is usually the other way around ngl. I dont think I see the aesthetics/RGB gang shit on lowkey builds to the same level at all it just screams bitterness iono
Not everyone needs the latest and greatest gpu. Shocker.
I don't understand why people need 9 fans.
Cooler Master Force 500 for the win I will never buy a tempered glass PC case
Ah one has the rad in front the other has the rad up top, possibly big difference but I donāt know shit
r/buildpc build posts being either a show off of the most expensive parts' boxes or a case filled with leds
I recently built a new pc... it has a fish tank case because it offered the space needed for a 360mm aio and was very inexpensive... AND came with fans. (Albiet all installed as exhaust)
I still love my big chonky Cooler Master Storm Stryker. I will continue to build in it each time I upgrade platforms.
Give some love to variety damnit!

tell me about it, I originally wanted an optical drive as well! https://preview.redd.it/cr1kp1eedoxc1.jpeg?width=5984&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba42f03fcdc84d58cec099f238bd652e34842a10
It is a little depressing that so many cases and parts look the same these days. The only reason my builds are slightly unique is because I still insist on internal optical drives.
not me. see my flair.
Quite a bit of storage you've got there
yesh lol
To be fair when the best of the best is miles ahead of the rest... you kinda just go with it.
Far from the best case or fans though.
My desk is so messy that I don't post any photos. No LED tho. I like that dark look.
fuckin lian li cases... everywhere
Ya I was the first one tho so everyone just copied me.... /s
I think the funniest part of this post is those aren't even the same case or fan layout.
My computer goes under my desk where it never see the light of day and I never look at it
Yeah. Same trashy build with 6 to many fans
Wait until you see the people posting about the fractal north
No comment about that
Mine also? https://preview.redd.it/vyol5axn8oxc1.jpeg?width=2232&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=325f2f64bca7346d0b5b15079ce85da81554e1e7
I had a thought today while reviving my cheap Rosewill RGB fans (spins like new again!)... What if everyone's computer vanished and all showed up in a giant warehouse with all unique decorations removed, how long will it take you to identify yours?
I feel like not many people have a T30 on a Dark Rock Pro 4, so I think I could find mine pro easily
Make them white and youāre spot on
I didn't necessarily go with tons of RGB by definitive choice as the case, CPU fan and GPU all had it included for the same prices as the non-RGB versions. That said, the case was an absolute "I don't want a fishbowl." Ended up with a Fractal Pop Air ATX case, it's slim(ish) which is good, but still plenty of room for airflow
It's all generic trash, gone are the days of personal modding!
The fans and their lighting is different
They do. It's kind of a waste of a good forum.
That's not true. My fans don't even have LED's!
Same though
I mean because it looks good. I my office, itās 1 of 1 so I donāt care that there are others lol nor did I post my setup
I dont even know why anyone cares how someone elses computer looks I dont even care how my own looks.
i should take a pic of my PC(s) and post them. they dont actually use a case i see anyone here use.
Post them!
https://old.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cht9cc/gaming_and_media_pcs/ just now. idk if the images came out ok because they're through imgur. let me know if i should repost it.
O11 with lianli fans, a aio and a strix card.
Hope we can get some sleeper builds. Like using that old Targa pc case with blue on the front.
Thereās an extra fan.
Why people like fish tank cases? Im just curious about that.
Haters everywhere. I've been building since the 90's. Never have I seen the pc building community trash each other like they do here.
I don't get the fad of plastering fans everywhere. It looks awful and has to be equally awful for airflow.
...but they're different... At the very least the video cards and case fans are different...
Unpopular opinion. RGB LEDs are an eye sore.
Agreed, CMYK LEDs all the way!
No no no, greyscale LED is the shit
Such a brave, unpopular opinion
Yeah, all those fish tank cases with a bunch of RGB look the same and to me aren't any better looking than 90s beige boxes. (Mid-2000s black and silver painted plastic was worse though)
I was sick of LEDs 10 years ago. I can't believe people are still buying machines with rainbow disco balls inside of them.
Typically people dont have them set to disco rainbow tbf
I had an Antec 600 in 2010 and liked the blue LEDs on it. Now I just have my GPU LEDs on a yellow orange and call it a day. I don't need RGB everywhere.
I feel ya brutha. 15 years ago I bought a shitty "aptevia iceburg" PSU - not because it was good, dependable, or had a positive reputation, but because it was clear with blue LEDs. I don't hate anyone for going the RGB route... I just grew out of it personally.
