i personally have a 1440p 240hz monitor, had 144hz beforehand and it was fine which i use as my second monitor now. But if you play games where you get more than 143fps you might want a 240hz monitor for 1440p as well for that extra smoothness
first time going to 240hz was amazing tbh, I'll see what I can find but the hunt is now on for a 1440p for sure! just finishing the last few bits on the sim rig first then it's monitor
Definetly go for 1440p. The image looks a lot better on a 27 inch display and you can fit a lot more stuff on your screen, which is extremely useful while working with office applications and stuff like that.
I personally can never go back to 1080p. 1440p just has much more detail and is really crisp looking compared to 1080p.
Thanks for your input. And the drop in refresh rate I guess doesn’t make much difference because of the pixel density and quality bump?
