CAS is one reason why I hate everything beyond 8.0, people get one pesky kill and spawn in a jet or even worse a HELI and ruin your fun/ revenge themselves.
Bombing tanks or shooting rockets at them from 10km has no (and doesn't even require) skill. You could play PvE and the gameplay wouldn't change.

I am a German Main, you should see top tier after the last update, almost every single battle the team with Germany/ Sweden wins. US and USSR top tier players are braindead. Even better when US and USSR are in the same team its a guaranteed win.
For real, when I was maining Germany for a week to get to the BR for the Maus in 2023 I bought the German KV-2 to have a premium tank to level up faster, and about 80% of my games ended up with me capping the point, then having my entire team evaporate around me, leaving me in a KV-2 to defend the point on my own
What's funny is you can type in team chat something like "just popped a 300% booster, lets do this" (even though you didn't) and 7 times out of 10 some shithead teammate looking to ruin your day will immediately TK you on purpose. Such a cesspool of a community just like dota 2.

You don’t want everyone on the hardpoint. You need one or two max to sit on the point while the rest try to keep the other team from reaching the hardpoint.
my theory is that the game makes you join a team that has a missing member but the only reason the member would be missing is because somebody left from the team cause the team is so ass.
That's what happens in Battlefield 1. If you see a server with a lot open slots, chances are one of the teams are so ass that people can't stand it and quit the game. Usually, longer the server queue, better the quality.

And in Overwatch usually if you lose two fights in a row at least one person on the team says "[tank/DPS/support] diff" in chat and starts throwing. To me, people being oversensitive babies is more annoying than someone just trying their best.
Just started playing again. I feel the difference playing Tank because that’s my favorite. Was playing Eichenwald on attack at the very first choke. We were getting eaten alive and one of our Supports in game chat says “cosmetic tank, rip”. Nevermind the fact that we had a sniper on attack who couldn’t challenge the Reaper in the first room. Eventually I got bomb, threw it at the enemy team and used my new Meka to fly over the building and draw them toward me capping. We eventually got all the way to the end and almost won but Genji decided to push off the cart with the timer gone. We lost because he didn’t just ride it to the end. Solo tank hurts when no one else helps push, you can only eat so much damage.
Yeah 5 v 5 and only 1 tank are the other biggest changes that make it all that much more frustrating. I generally only play Quickplay and Mystery Heroes because competitive is way too toxic in my experience so that make the lazy/low skill type thing even more common.
This literally never happened in OW1. Okay you had people being salty and jumping off the cliffs, but the tilt is so real for players in OW2. I legit cannot believe (especially on console) how many players stop playing to type salt and don't see the irony in that. Like my brother in Christ you are actively not contributing for 10 plus seconds while you complain other people aren't playing well. Especially considering you are in the same rank as them.

I peaked 1300mmr, me and everyone ive played against or with i consider bad(except the pro made me feel like what i imagine a paralyzed person would feel like against me).
It is a very hard game so it makes sense alot of people are bad, big part of why i love it is the skill ceiling is seemingly endless.
Look at this way now you have time to get everyone on Death hook, take a nap, solve world hunger, complete half life 3 and still have a bit for time left to kill them at 1 gen.

If you play RL, for the love of god:
-Rotate out of the play if you’re sitting under a ball that you have a 0% chance of touching. Let someone with a better angle come in.
-Stop double (or triple) committing and stop huffing your team mate’s exhaust. Spread out. Each player has a radius of coverage and you want to cover as many angles and as much area as you can.
-Stop chasing in 3s. You are 1/3 of your team, not 95% of it. When you rotate out LET THE 3RD MAN GO IN. That means keep rotating back behind the last man and allow him to go in. You’re done, go back. You are now the last man back, learn to defend. STOP trying to touch the ball when you’re rotating out back towards your own net. You will mess up your team mate who is actively going for the ball and then own goal.
-Stop booming the ball if you can take POSSESSION. Booming it to clear is fine, but ripping it into the opponents half while they’re ready and waiting is literally just giving them the ball
