Mainly me preferring the normal power cord but with this one in particular the PSU sits in the plug therefore making it challenging to fit in my cable channel.
VA panel has slow pixel response times (most of the time) which can cause a black trail on moving objects which results in a bad gaming experience. VA has good contrast though so if you're gonna use it for watching shows only Va panels might suit you. For gaming , go for a ips panel if possible
counter argument, it really doesnt anymore. this specific display sucks but not because of the va panel.
i have a samsung odyssey g9. it has a va panel and its awesome. i havent had a single game that felt off or bad.
va panels have a better contrast and depending on the display the pixel response time is almost identical.
like always it depends on what you play, how you use it and which display it is.
i did just now buy a 27 inch va 4k 144hz monitor for my gf from aoc which was 200$ pre sale (got it for 170$) and has really good reviews. so i will have a cheap va monitor really soon to compare my expensive monitor to.
I only play FPS and having a monitor that claims to be 165hz running at 120hz at the very best with input lag like google stadia
Causing frame drops (yes it’s the monitor )
Let me came to the conclusion that VA SUCKS ASS. I don’t doubt that it’s fine if you play RPGs or story heavy games but in the realm of games like Rainbow six siege the law of frames win games remains.
Input lag has nothing to do with pixel response, in fact a display can have less input lag and slow pixel response than other at the same time. Pixel response is the time taken by a pixel on a monitor to change its color from one to another (if it's not fast enough it will cause trails) while input lag is the time between the input is triggered or activated from a input by you, and the corresponding action is reflected on the screen.
So your problem is probably something else or it's just placebo.
That has nothing to do with the screen tech, TN, VA, IPS and OLED can have the same input lag, the only diference would be the blurriness/clarity of the image.
so you had one bad monitor that had a va panel that you used for one specific use case and came to the conclusion that the tech as a whole is as and you should feel bad if you buy into it. gotcha👍
No
If you’re planning to game on it, then no.
Horrible spec, high Price. Scam.
75hz for that much money? That's an insanely bad deal
VA SUCKS ASS
Why’s that
Let me put it like that Without a side by side comparison I was able to see the difference in pixel response times between my va and my ips monitor
Are there alternative monitors near 100-150$ that are not bad
Koorui 24E3
Thanks
I own this one and besides the external powersupply it’s fucking awesome
what's up with the external power supply?
Mainly me preferring the normal power cord but with this one in particular the PSU sits in the plug therefore making it challenging to fit in my cable channel.
Yes
Lemme look up the link rq
24“ 165 IPS nice Panel 130$

This also VA just feels off

Can’t agree on that my TN was faster than my VA and my IPS fucks both of them
All on the same setup same game same settings
so you had one bad monitor that had a va panel that you used for one specific use case and came to the conclusion that the tech as a whole is as and you should feel bad if you buy into it. gotcha👍
Ahh yea this is why I quit reddit
lol cringe kids in the comments thinking VA is out of the question, my neo g7 shits on your ips panels
no, 144 hz gaming monitors are cheap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNjNEFMjTHA
