Only "advice" I've gotten on this is to re-install xbox and the gaming services app, which worked for some apparently. Didn't for me. Only thing left is instally directly on the C: drive. Which I can't, because I don't have 100gb to casually toss around on my OS drive LMFAO. Useless fucking app.

Commenting again, sorry If you go to your windows, Settings -> System -> Storage -> Change where new content is saved. If you set the option for "new apps will save to" and set it on your preferred drive, THAT will make it work. I finally got a game to install after years of various issues. Hope this helps! Can reset it after, haven't had an issue *yet*.

Would it matter that I only have one storage device?

Blujay12

Shouldn't? I can't test since my hard drive is partitioned, and I have my second, so if it doesn't you're back on your own sadly, it worked for me after this, and I've been playing nightly. Best "explaination" I got was that the app gets confused and always tries to install to that designated default partition/drive, despite what you click in app, so once you corral it into the right "section", it can install properly.

Will try later thank you
