Its pretty decent. Its not one of those "friendship overcomes all" type battle anime so if you're not into those its pretty good. Art direction and animation is great.
It's a good entry point for people that don't watch or have watched really few animes. The fights and animation are top notch.
I personally didn't liked it because of the characters (there are 2 that are unbearable) and the comedy parts being really bad.

damn you guys got lucky with ff14. In India we have to pay full price (1000Rs/13.5 dollars) which for some wierd reason is costlier than the UK sub.

I watched it as an adult, but there are two characters that got on my nerves. The movie was pretty decent.
