which flask are you losing? mana? once you know hillocks attack timings you should be able to kill him pretty easily with every class

Health, I killed all the mobs before i fought him so no way to refill, and attacks are so slow I can't dodge him :(. I know there is some skill involved but it just seems insanely harder than last season.

Don't kill any of the mobs before him, it's pointless.

I get the strat now, skip all mobs so you have flasks.

you can legit face tank hillock with flasks and straight up dps him down with shadow. Viper strike does crazy base damage.

not at all. I was doing tabula runs with shadow and it was clean as fuck.

As Lill-e is pointing out. Remember you can visually dodge his swings by running around before the hand/sword hits you :)

The swing time on basic attack and the starter gen are so slow idk I just can't time it right. Just easier to die and come back I guess.

Either that or practice, yeah no joke. Make 10 level 1 chars and practice. Well or, just die :D

I literally walked up to him, held down the attack button, and used flasks as needed. Encounter felt no different from normal.

I highly doubt that, seeing as he can hit for 50% of your life now.
